Part 1

Just call me Amel. Amelia Melodika is my name, if you ask why my name Melodika the answer is with my father. So my dad used to wish that I could be a singer.

Unfortunately, I have no talent in the field of singing. But that doesn't mean I have no way to make my parents happy.

Since childhood, I have been gifted by the intelligent God of the brain. And you could say I'm a kid who pretty much has a track record of achievement.

all the competitions I have participated in both at the regional level, nationally to the latest level of Southeast Asia. But I don't want to be arrogant I'm still a cuckoo and relaxed Amel.

And because I was too busy studying to prepare for the race. I never thought about going out and falling in love never. But there was a man who was 2 years older than me.

She's the one who got me to know what "love" is she's also the first person to be in a relationship with me. If asked how an Amel can be made a clamp - a clamp with him, the answer is easy he is different.

Different? he was different from the men I knew in general. She's special so special she even has her own place in my heart.

But all that happiness just changes. When he decided to go to Melbourne, Australia, I didn't forbid him to go there. I always supported him.

But something was different when he said goodbye to me to go to Australia. That goodbye, like his last greeting. He promised to let me know when he got there, but I never heard from him again. He disappeared leaving me alone in a ghost with various questions.

After school I did not go home immediately, I decided to stop by one of the bookstores that was not far from school. I went by myself as usual but, it seems that day God wanted to introduce me to one of his very strange creatures.

I was on the bookshelf of a teenage novel. My hands hold two novels at once, one Geez & Ann by Rintik Sedu, and the other Not a rain by Ummuchan.

It was hard to choose at that time. I could actually buy both but my money wasn't enough to buy two novels at once, so I had to choose one.

At that moment, someone I never expected to come. With confidence he said

"You do not want to be made curious mending buy Not the wrong rain, if Geez & Ann you have to buy 3 books at once so you can sleep soundly"

And strangely enough, I was just following what the stranger had said. Don't don't he hypnotize me? no - no. That's not possible

"ooh.gthat's thanks to you" I replied. Wait Amel seems like something strange, before I go to the cashier I see a man still wearing a full school uniform. He was standing right next to me.

When I look at his face. He simply said, "So I saw you like confused choosing between the two novels. So I decided to give you some advice, so you don't get in my way"

For God's sake when he said I was embarrassed. There's no more Amel the cute girl in this world, I just want to disappear from the earth. Because already embarrassed also not good because it has blocked the way I apologize to the person just go to the cashier.

Arriving at home I immediately entered the room while continuing to think about the incident ah! no need to talk about it anymore. Later also forget.

On May 6, I and some school representative students went to Bandung to follow OSN. My friend Zahra said that his cousin also went to Bandung to participate in the same race, so Zahra and his cousin had already made arrangements to meet there.

All I did was look at the window of the bus. I don't know if this is the right thing for me to do right now.

Arriving at the race venue. We were all greeted with a big welcome one by one from us in a necklace, a necklace made of flowers.

Then we line up according to the sequence number that has been given before. On the left side of our line there is a row of high school students from the same city as the origin of my Junior High School city is located in Jakarta.

The event opened with a prayer together according to their respective beliefs. Then followed by a speech from the governor of Jawabarat, after finishing giving a speech. The race committee tells some rules when the race takes place.

And then unintentionally. My eyes caught the figure of the man I met while in the bookstore that time. As if aware that someone was looking at him, the man came along and turned to me.

The race started all the participants from all over the city, starting to enter the race room. All the participants in the room looked very confident and competitive but there were also those who looked relaxed and could have been like me.

When the race starts, one by one the participants are distributed a question sheet. The sol sheet consists of 50 PG questions and 25 essay questions, before working on a problem competition there are some students who choose to pray first.

But there are also those who choose to directly work on the problem sheet. 20 minutes passed the remaining time is only 5 minutes, the atmosphere of the room increasingly heated up some participants began to check back the answers on the question sheet.

Finally, time runs out, all participants begin to collect question sheets regularly and then leave the room in an orderly manner.

While waiting for the results of the race to come out, I and other friends chose to take shelter in a large shady tree there. Sitting there drinking cold water feels ah! it feels like heaven.

While I was enjoying the cold, very fresh drink, Zahra patted me on the shoulder. Then he said...

"Mel, yuk anther!"

"Where?"

"Anter I made a meeting with my cousin. It's not too far away 5 meters from here"

"ehm.yeah okay. But then I came back here"

We both got to the appointment. But strangely in the crowd - those people, no one Zahra knew then I asked.

"Ra, which cousin are you?" much

"emmm.nah that's him" pointed to the person he meant, my eyes immediately looked towards the direction Zahra meant and then...

"Ra, I think I'm leaving right now"
