Queen Ketiban Duren

Queen Ketiban Duren
Chapter 36. Father Albirru

The queen opened her eyes, she saw Albirru's father rubbing her hair. The queen got up and leaned on the head of the bed. He smiled at his father.

"Dad ...."

"I'm sorry .. Did you interrupt your sleep?"

"It's okay. Do you need anything with me?" ask Queen.

"Nothing. I just want to see you. I don't want to go through these moments, because all of this is rare Dad will even be difficult to meet.Last dad saw you sleeping in this room while you were still sitting in junior high school."

"Sorry, Dad. I rarely visit Dad. Not that I don't want to, but I used to ...." The queen stopped her words.

"But what, son?" tanya Akbirru saw her daughter stop her speech.

"I couldn't sleep without Daddy" the Queen murmured.

Despite only muttering, Albirru could still hear him. His chest feels tight to hear his son who is more dependent on the father connecting from himself as a biological father.

Albirru tried to smile even though her heart was sore. He did not want the Queen to feel guilty about his words.

The queen who saw the change in her father's face Albirru immediately hugged her. He had just realized that his words must have made Albirru's father sad.

"Dad, I love you too."

"Dad knows, son. I know you love me too."

"I'm sorry. Didn't mean to make you sad about what I said."

"Dad is not sad to hear your words.Dad understands. You deserve to be closer to Daddy than you, because you grew up and lived with him."

"Dad can ask you something?" ask Albirru.

"Sure, Father," replied the Queen.

"Who's the guy that came with you. Is your future husband, son?"

"Dad, I'm currently close to Akhtar's brother. He said he wanted to marry me as soon as possible, but I haven't told Daddy that Akhtar wants to marry me anytime soon. I'm scared ...."

"What are you afraid of?"

"I'm afraid Daddy doesn't agree that I'm getting married to Akhtar's sister so soon."

"Daddy doesn't know about your relationship with Akhtar yet."

"Tau, Dad. I can't dare go alone if Daddy doesn't let me."

The queen said all about Akhtar's past. He was afraid that Daddy would disagree with Akhtar to marry him immediately.

Albirru gave support to the Queen, if she believed Azril would agree when Akhtar proposed. Azril must have prioritized the Queen's happiness. If the Queen loved Akhtar, Azril would not have hindered her marriage either.

Albirru said that a person's status should not be used as a benchmark to get to a more serious level if you believe he is the right man for you.

After waiting long enough for Albirru but your husband never came, Zahra who had grown tired finally followed Albirru to the Queen's room.

Seeing Albirru and the Queen chatting with him, Zahra locked up her intention to call Albirru and the Queen. Zahra wanted to give the father and son time to spare their feelings while sharing the story.

After two hours had passed, Albirru went down from the top floor to the kitchen while waiting for the Queen and Akhtar to finish bathing.

Akhtar looked a little nervous and awkward at breakfast together. He unceasingly looked at the Queen to relieve nervousness.

After breakfast, Albirru invited Akhtar and the Queen to move to the family room, so that they would have better conversation.

"Son Akhtar, I may ask."

"Please, Daddy."

"So the father and the Queen had been chatting for quite some time. The Queen said that Akhtar is currently close and wants to have a more serious relationship with him. Is that right?" ask Albirru.

"Rubber, dad. I came here to ask Father for his blessing, to allow me to have a more serious relationship with the Queen."

"Do you love the Queen?"

"certain, Dad. Maybe even more than the Queen knows."

"Dad hope you're not playing with the Queen."

"No way, Dad. I love the Queen very much ."

"Dad also hopes that you will continue to love the Queen forever and increase when you get married later. Never betray and lie to the Queen."

Albirru took a breath and was silent for a moment before finally starting her speech.

"Father hope that if you and the Queen get married, never share your love. Experience has taught me that if something is shared it will not be good. Don't lie to cover up another mistake."

"Dad, I won't promise much, but I can prove how I treat the Queen after we get married."

Albirru also advised Akhtar, although Islam allows us to marry more than one, but should never do that. Don't be as sorry as he has been until now.
