Qais And Lila

Her afternoon.....

As usual, after school Lila will go straight to her place of work part-time. The owner of the food store happened to be a friend of Lila's mother when she was still working in laundry services. The shopkeeper allowed Lila to work part-time there.

As soon as she arrived, Lila immediately changed her clothes with her workplace uniform. The owner of the tavern really liked Lila, because although she was very young, but Lila was very diligent and also nimble. Customers of the store also liked Lila because Lila was known to be friendly.

Most visitors to the store are factory or office workers because it just so happens that the store is in the company complex.

As usual, Lila always comes in during crowded shop hours due to factory shift changes and office hours. Lila also moved quickly to serve customers with 3 other employees, Mila, Andri, and Dio.

Record customer orders, deliver orders, and clean the table, Lila was used to do deftly.

It does not feel like the clock is pointing to the number 6. The majority of the customers have already started to leave. Only 1-2 customers dropped by. Not a regular customer, just a guy who happened to stop by for food.

In between her leisure time, Mila approached Lila and whispered something

"La, there's a guy who's been looking at you" Mila said

Lila was somewhat surprised to hear Mila's words

"Who?" ask Lila

"Don't know. But from this afternoon I noticed. If not wrong, he came shortly after you came" said Mila again

Lila was intending to turn her head and look at her, but Mila prevented her

"Don't look" said Mila then gave a small mirror to Lila and signaled Lila to see the visitor in question through the mirror.

Lila watched the person Mila meant carefully. A moment later, Lila recognized the face of the young man sitting in the corner of the tavern.

It's Qais!

Lila had not expected that young man to be able to follow her all the way there. I don't know what the purpose is.

"Well, is he here?"muttered Lila

Dio turned to look at Lila

"You know him, La?" ask Dio

Lila nodded

"He's the son of a rich man I told you about" Lila replied

Lila just nodded

"Do you want us to land him let him go, La?" ask Andri

"No need, brother. As long as he doesn't bother, just stay there. Ntar also went alone" Lila said

The three of them agreed on Lila's words

Lila used to call Mila, Andri, and Dio "brother" because they were older than Lila. The three of them graduated from school. Andri is studying in college while working. Mila is engaged and soon to be married. Dio used to work in a factory. But quit because of the reduction of employees.

Meanwhile, in the corner of the tavern, Qais was still sitting there. Waiting for Lila to approach him just to greet him, considering they are schoolmates.

But that hope never materialized because Lila didn't even notice it.

It was almost time to close the shop, and Qais was still sitting there with no sign of Lila going to approach her.

Suddenly, Andri came and rebuked Qais to leave because the tavern would be closed. Qais left disappointed that the day had passed without success.

But Qais did not give up. He waited for Lila outside the tavern in hopes of talking to her outside.

The shop was closed and all the officers were ready to go home. Suddenly Dio approached Lila

"La, I'll take you home" said Dio offering to drive Lila.

"No need, brother. I went home alone. It's also common." Lila refused

"Today I'm anterin huh. You know, I don't feel good. I'm afraid the guy will definitely try to find you." said Andri

"But, sister.." Lila's words were cut off

"Udahlah, La. Andri bener's. You let me take it with Andri. Besides, I'm also worried about you why-why. Especially after squirming the guy. I'm afraid he's macem-macem with you" Mila said trying to persuade Lila

"Yes, La. Better safe than why, right? Udah, you let us be delivered just like Andri." persuaded Dio

Hearing the persuasion of her "brothers" Lila could not resist. Finally he agreed on delivery by Andri

Meanwhile, outside the tavern, Qais was still waiting for Lila. He wished he could talk to Lila while walking. But a moment later, that hope was dashed when he saw Lila flashing with Andri.

Qais looked at them with a feeling of disappointment mixed in annoyance as all his plans were falling apart. Moreover, he had already missed a day of betting without any progress.

"It was in vain that I waited for him here from earlier." murmured Qais annoyed
