"Chelsea, may I know something?" ask Peter on the way.
"Ask what?" chelsea looked at Peter who was driving.
"How did you end up with Abigail?" her question was full of caution.
Chelsea did not immediately answer, she looked at the dark sky behind the window. Pasting his palm on the window that was soaked by the rain of water.
"That's it." said Chelsea with a bright look.
"You mean?"
"My relationship with Abigail just happened." Chelsea answered flatly.
"How did you get into a relationship with him?"
Chelsea were a little confused to give an answer. Because this is so sensitive to put forward, he realized same-sex relationships will always be controversial for anyone. No exception Peter.
"I met him on Kuta beach, when he was on vacation and saw me tattooing some tourists there. Then he wanted me to make it too, and there was an introduction." Chelsea was impressed to tell a story reluctantly.
"Since when have you been interested in the same sex?" Peter wants to know more about the reasons behind Chelsea's sexual orientation that are contrary to its nature.
"I don't know. Maybe since being close to Abigail and feeling comfortable with that closeness, interest began to exist" he said casually.
"Have you ever had a relationship with a man before?" Peter several times looked alternately at Chelsea and the streets from inside his car.
When Peter asked the question, Chelsea silently glared at the crowded street by the vehicle. His mind flew in a few years back, trying to recall the trauma he had felt each time he came into contact with men in the context of a 'special' relationship'. The incident left a disturbing unease for Chelsea, for he does not know whether he should be grateful for the presence of Abigail who managed to make him forget a little trauma or whether he should stay away from Abigail who has managed to pull him on an unusual 'special' relationship.
"Chelsea."
"Chelsea."
Repeatedly Peter called out to a pensive Chelsea drifting in his own mind, until finally Chelsea turned to him with a gaze that was hard to guess.
"Sorry Peter, you better focus on driving and stop asking" Chelsea said flatly.
Peter who somehow could understand the implied intent of Chelsea, just showed his amused smile. He realized, maybe the question had begun to bother Chelsea, but Peter also could not hide his curiosity about Chelsea's past. How could she be stranded in Bali, how could she choose Abigail to be her lover. The questions ran through his mind. Peter believes, Chelsea who is now silent as if they do not want to reveal his identity, must be hiding something. He remembers what Ed said in the cafe when they first met, a charming Chelsea girl full of alluring mysteries. And unfortunately, Peter wanted to get to know him more closely.

Right in a multi-storey dwelling the car Peter was driving stopped. In front of him is a mini park with a neat bongsai arrangement. From the right in the distance there are several similar dwellings lined up neatly facing the artificial lake that is right in front of it, between the lake and Abigail residence is only limited by the road for vehicles that want to pass.
"You've always lived here with Abigail?" ask Peter to Chelsea. They were still in the car staring at Abigail's apartment.
Chelsea saw Abigail's apartment lights off, indicating that Abigail had not yet returned home from her job.
"Yes. Abigail wouldn't let me go back to my apartment." said Chelsea casually.
"What are you guys doing in there?" peter's stupid question slid just like that, making Chelsea's cheeks blush withstanding embarrassment.
"What kind of question is that?!" chelsea try to be ordinary.
"That's not what I mean, I just..."
"Only a shameless fool would ask such a question." Chelsea cut off Peter's words.
Chelsea grunted, Peter is indeed a person who likes to speak original.
"Here you go, you better get going. Thank you for driving." said Chelsea while opening the car door handle.
Not even Chelsea moved his legs towards the gaping car door, Peter's hand suddenly pulled Chelsea's arm, until Chelsea automatically turned her body following the pull of Peter's hand.
"If I intend to approach you. Are you gonna let me?" Peter could not bear to say his wish from the beginning.
Chelsea seemed surprised by Peter's question that seemed rushed, he was amazed why Peter who he had not long ago known wanted to approach him, even though he knew that Chelsea was a lesbian who already had a lover.
"Did I hear wrong?" Chelsea looked in wonder at Peter who looked serious with his words.
"You didn't hear Chelsea wrong. I'm not the kind of guy who likes to talk stale, so I want to tell you this. That ever since I first saw you in a cafe, I've been interested in you" Peter said. Chelsea who was about to get out of the car, undo his intentions. He closed the car door again with Peter's hand still holding his arm.
Chelsea breathed a long "You're interested in the wrong person, Peter."
"Why?" ask Peter.
"I'm a lesbian." said Chelsea with emphasis.
"I know, but that doesn't deter me from getting close to you." Peter took his hand off Chelsea's arm.
"I'm serious Chelsea, I admit our meeting was very short. You may be suspicious of what I say, so let me approach you. At least so well that you and I can both see how far I'm going."
"I can't. How can I allow someone to approach me while I have a relationship with another." Chelsea refused
A moment of silence stretched over the two of them, Chelsea did not know what to do with Peter's wishes. While Peter, seemed busy thinking of finding a gap so that Chelsea gave permission to Peter to approach him.
"What if you let me approach you during my vacation here, Chelsea?" Peter made an offer after a while of drifting into a snarl.
Chelsea turned her head to look at Peter, seeing from the look on her face that she would still reject Peter's wishes.
"Please." Peter was a little groggy when he saw Chelsea's mouth ready to issue his rejection speech.
"I'm serious Chelsea. Please allow me to approach you. I promise that in all my efforts to try to be close to you, I will not disturb your relationship with Abigail. Even Abigail won't know what we're talking about." Peter stared fixedly at Chelsea's eyeballs with certainty.
"I can't Peter, you'll get hurt later." Chelsea want to reject Peter.
"You don't have to think about how I feel Chelsea, just give me a chance. Please." Peter clasped his hands together in front of his chest.
Chelsea no longer know how to turn Peter down,
"Close to you, don't blame me if only disappointment can be given in the end" said Chelsea resigned to Peter's plea. He reopened the door he had closed.
"Thank you for driving me." Chelsea pulled her foot out of Peter's car. Without looking at Peter, he stepped in to enter Abigail's apparatus.
Peter's eyes can not be separated from the figure of Chelsea who began to move away, he smiled looking closely at the face of the girl's target. A gentle sigh appeared as an impassive smile left his lips. In the darkness of the night, Peter said softly.
"You'll never know the end of every story we make Chelsea, and you see, I'll make sure our end is a wonderful ending for us to remember together."
Peter starts running back his car as soon as Chelsea enters the apartment. He hummed softly along his way to Ed's cafe. This is just the first step in his mission to get Chelsea interested in him. There were still many things he had to do, and he would not waste his time just like that.
