Birthday Anniversary

Elyn was exhausted after swimming and playing in the pool all day. After dinner Elyn slept faster due to fatigue that could not be maintained.

Elyn's 11th birthday tonight. His father and mother, including Evan, had prepared a surprise for him.

"Is everything ready, Auntie?" Evan made sure to prepare well for Elyn's surprise.

"Seems like already. Just cake and birthday candles." Said Elyn's mother.

His entire room had now turned into a broken ship. Messy and chaotic..

Evan just shook his head slowly. He sat on the sofa in the middle of his clothes and messy things.

"German..." Evan's father lowered his voice. He tried to approach more slowly so that his son could open up.

"I lost something dad." Evan lowered his head. His eyes were glazed and tears appeared in his eyes.

"What, you lost something?" Evan's father cried out in anger.

"Guardian..... My son lost something in his room!" Evan's father yelled out to the bodyguard who was guarding Evan's room.

"It's not dad... Listen to me first.." Evan finally shouted. Her father was too panicked when he heard her son was losing.

Almost the room keeper Evan got furious if it happened.

"I forgot where to put the gift for Elyn. I feel like I've taken her. But when I'm looking. That gift doesn't exist." Evan tried to explain in a fiery manner.

"Gift..." Evan's father seemed to think of something.

"More.." Evan's father reached into his pocket and thrust out a beautiful pink box with a blue ribbon.

"almost forgot.. I'm shocked to see your room falling apart like this." Evan's father scratched his head even though it didn't feel itchy.

"Dad here to give you that. It looks like it's tucked in Dad's suitcase."

Evan smiled thinly. He seemed relieved that the gift was already in his hands.

"Thank God..." He said softly and looked warmly at the gift.

"You want to celebrate Elyn's birthday.. Want to surprise her?" Ask Evan's dad.

"Do you like Elyn?" Asked Evan's father while gently rubbing his son's head.

"Yes.. I like it so much.." Evan smiled widely and his ears turned red.

Evan's father smiled at his beloved son.

"Sleep first, I'll ask someone to wake you at half-time 12." Evan's father patted him on the shoulder.

"Eh.... Where did you sleep?" Evan's father was shocked as soon as he got up from the sofa. He again realized that Evan's room was now very messy.

Evan smiled cunningly. He got up from the sofa he was sitting on and went to bed. Evan held the end of the bed sheet over his bed. His smile became more and more visible.

"Yeahaaaa....." Evan pulled hard on the bed sheet. All the items on the bed now fell to the floor.

The father and son laughed out loud. Laughter that had not been heard between them for a long time.

Evan slept even with a messy room. His father left Evan when he was asleep. They had long since gone through such an intense time.

Evan kept his card in his pocket. He held with both hands a fairly large cake. Cake filled with chocolate and strawberries on it.

"Sat... 1.. 2.. 3.." With Elyn's father's cue they opened Elyn's room door and shouted together.

"Elyyne.." Elyn's father and mother blow the trumpet that made Elyn shocked and rubbed her eyes. He was momentarily confused by what he saw.

"Happy Birthday...." They congratulated Elyn.

"Elyn's Happy Birthday.." Evan smiled gently.

Evan, holding the cake and the number 11 candle on it, brought the cake closer and sang to Elyn.
