Punishment for the Killer

That morning Evan rushed to Regi's room. He was very upset by what Regi told him. Especially now that his own father told Regi to look after Elyn. Though Regi initially will be an assistant as well as a bodyguard for him later.

"Region.. Let's talk.." Evan knocked on Regi's room door strongly.

"What the hell.. The sun has not yet risen yet you are noisy.." Regi opened the door of his room and nagged in annoyance.

"What has not yet come out there is light." Evan pointed out the window.

The sky is still dark. The sun was still shyly showing itself. Regi stared out the window with a flat gaze.

"Don't tell me you can't sleep because you want to see me soon. And at dawn like this you're already here because you want to talk to me?" Say Regi on target.

"We should talk, anyway.." Evan folded his hands and hurriedly sat down on the sofa.

"Eheeem..." Evan cleared his throat indicating that Regi should sit down immediately and talk to him .

"I wash my face first..." Regi ignores Evan's code and heads to the bathroom.

"Wash this face for 30 minutes." Evan who had been sitting waiting for Regi was getting bored.

"Ooooo... You wash your face what sleep is.?" Evan is getting angry.

"Patience.. Again P.. O.. O.. P.." Regi shouted from the bathroom in a strange voice.

"Damn it..." Evan became even more upset after what he heard.

"I can wait for someone to poop like this.." Evan's getting upset.

Regi soon came out of the bathroom with a face that looked relieved.

"Sorry it was constipation.." Her speech was plain without caring about Evan's face which was already very upset.

"So what are you going to say?" Regi patted the shoulder of Evan who was sitting on the sofa.

"Wash your hands with soap.." Evan stared at Regi's strange face. Evan clearly looks disgusted with his shoulder that is touched Regi.

"Udah... What the hell..." Regi looks upset.

"Eheeem's..." Evan returned to the dust. Regi was actually sitting on the sofa in front of him.

"So you have something to do with Elyn. Since when have you been getting closer? Last night what did you do with Elyn?" Evan asked in a row.

"Propay sir.. His one-on-one.." Regi scrunched his forehead.

"First of all I have no relationship like you imagine. I'm purely looking after Elyn. Understood." Say Regi firmly.

"Yes.. Which I imagine.." Evan looks nervous.

"You're not jealous.." Regi glanced and stared intently at the face of Evan who had blushed in shame.

"That's.." Without saying much more Evan nodded his head slowly.

"Yes it looks obvious..." Say Regi casually.

Evan was embarrassed to hear what Regi said. He bowed deeply and spoke softly.

"So.. Let me take care of him. And don't get too close to Elyn."

"But..." Evan looked at Regi's face. Clearly Regi did not speak. He was very strict about what he said.

"Look yeah.. Last night if there wasn't me. Elyn could have gone back."

"How can you?" Evan looked surprised to hear Regi's words.

"You forgot what you were doing.?" Regi looks very disappointed.

"What the hell.. Try to say the right thing. I don't understand." Evan looked more and more riled up

"You've got Bella and you've forgotten Elyn." Regi scoffs at Evan.

"I'm trying to avoid Bella and find Elyn. Bella was the odd one to know.." Evan's getting upset.

"Udah.. Don't beat around the bush anymore. I don't want to fight with you." Evan asked to go straight to the point.

"You didn't notice Elyn well Evan. You barely know what Elyn's up against. He has trouble with Bella and her friends. It's not that you know Elyn is always trying to solve her own problems and hold all the weight on her tiny shoulders. He always didn't want to trouble anyone. Don't be fooled by her sweet smile. Elyn's not as happy as you imagined Evan."

Instantly, Regi's word on target rips through Evan's heart.

"I don't know.. I thought they were friends." Evan limps down and rests his body on the sofa. He rubbed his eyes violently. He regretted not paying attention to Elyn well.

"You remember the first day we sailed? She avoided you and decided to go out that night with me and not with you, because she was depressed by Bella and her friends. Actually it's not just them. But by the other kids. You know it. They also want to be close to the mum but you're always with Elyn for them like a nuisance." Long-term Regi.

"But they are not sincerely friends with me. They are because I am a Naratama. I've been trying to be friendly with anyone. Even last night when Bella flirtatiously wrestled with me. I tried my best not to hurt her and cause trouble" Evan defended himself.

"He lied to you too, but Elyn doesn't usually lie. He also feels guilty for not keeping his promise to Bella. When you ignore her and focus on Bella even you last time when Elyn disappeared you also blame yourself for leaving Elyn alone. That one I don't know what's going on. But the obvious. Elyn's been depressed enough." Regi brought back Evan's dark story.

"It's not just Evan.. Ahead of.. He's held it down enough." Regi humbled his words.

"How do you know all that. Elyn always looked cheerful." Evan is getting claustrophobic hearing what Regi has to say.

"I was unintentional too. A few times it happened in front of me accidentally. And it made me pay more attention to Elyn."

"Ah... One more.. Me and Elyn are cousins. Do you know?" Regi looked into Evan's eyes without hesitation.

"You don't know anything.. Now how can I trust you if you want to take good care of her?" Ask Regi.

Evan is shocked to hear that Regi is Elyn's cousin. He's been friends with Elyn for a long time. Regi is even an assistant who is prepared for him later. Of course Regi knew him probably since he was still in his mother's stomach.

"I really don't know anything about Elyn.." Evan's regret that made his heart torn and shattered.

During this time he often played to Elyn's house freely. They also often play three. But the fact that Regi is Elyn's cousin is new to Evan's ears.

"What I do.." Evan bit the tip of his lip irritated.

"I've been so mean to Elyn. But Elyn still wants to smile so gently at me." Evan recalled what he had done.

The jealousy that burned his heart was not comparable to the pain Elyn had been in all this time. Evan regretted that he was not that sensitive to pay attention to Elyn. He does not realize if Elyn is burdened or even when he is hiding something.

All the feelings were running through Evan's mind. His broken heart and troubled mind all became one. Until regret enveloped his mind.
