37. A Wife's Premonition (Season 3)

Today, SC Technology Company has been shocked by the news that Elden as the owner of the company is having lunch with Laura who is a new employee.

"Are you serious? Mr Elden having lunch with the new employee?" Said one of the women with bright red lipstick.

"Yes, I'm serious. I saw it with my own two eyeballs. They had lunch together" he said convincingly.

"Don't Mr Elden have a wife?" One of the men who just entered the work room.

"Yes, Mr. Elden already has a wife. But I don't know. I don't know either. Maybe Mr. Elden has a job with the new employee." Said one of the women with a distended stomach.

They nod each other's heads. "Yes, maybe it's just a job. Can't it be if Mr Elden cheats on his wife?"

"Yes you're right. But the thing is, Mr. Elden has never eaten with a woman before. Usually Mr. Elden chooses lunch in the study and eats his wife's lunchbox." One of the employees there. It just so happened that he was the one who often went in and out of Elden's workroom.

"Damn, I can't think straight now. Never mind, you guys don't talk about that anymore. Households let them take care of themselves. We have no right to interfere." Head of production. "Now you'll have lunch before lunchtime ends."

"Good." Answer them compact. They almost skipped lunch hours just because their boss had lunch with a new employee named Laura.

"How, do you understand Laura?" Ask Elden gently.

Laura nodded. The two stared at each other. Even the seats they chose to sit facing each other. "Already Sir. I already understand." Laura answered with a smile.

Elden then drank the iced coffee he had just ordered. He drank it and Elden ate the cake he ordered. "You don't have to pay for your food. Let me pay for it." Said Elden. His two sharp eyeballs continued to stare at Laura's face.

Laura then shook her head slowly. Feel bad. He should have bought Elden lunch. "No need for Sir. Let me pay for it. Think of this as a thank you for helping me." Laura said.

Elden smiled, making Laura curse inwardly. "Damn, why is he so handsome!" Demonise.

"You can treat me next time. So this lunch I paid for it. Think of it as a greeting gift from me." Said Elden.

Laura nodded. "alright. I'll treat you to dinner another time."

"Hm.."

Lexa muttered softly. Both of his eyes looked focused towards the phone he was holding. "Tumben once Elden didn't tell me." Mumbles Lexa.

Now Lexa is in the middle room with a prone position on the floor. While Garvin, Garvin was taking a nap.

Uncomfortable with her own feelings, Lexa decides to check the chat history with her husband. "Last seen at 12 o'clock." His brain started to think hard. Negative thoughts began to fill his brain. "There's no way Elden's with another woman. Elden may be busy because of work." Lirih Lexa convinced herself. But unfortunately, his heart cannot be invited to positive thinking. "I'd better call Elden."

Not wanting to drag on with her negative thoughts, Lexa immediately contacted Elden. I patiently wait for Lexa.

Drrt.. Drrt.. Drrt..

Seeing his phone vibrate loudly on the table, Elden immediately rushed to lift the call. Especially when he sees his wife calling him.

"Hallo El." Sapa Lexa cheerful.

"Hallo too, dear." Reply Rafael. Both of her eyes glanced at Laura. His heart was beating twice as fast as usual. In his heart Elden continued to pray, may Laura not let out her voice in the least.

Elden could imagine how his wife's expression was now. "Sorry baby. I have a job to finish. I'll call you later." Elden said then drank the iced coffee he ordered.

"Emh, so." Mumbles Lexa. Even though his heart still felt awkward. "What are you doing now?" Ask Lexa again.

"I'm having lunch with my dear co-worker."

"Ah really? I'm sorry El. I don't know. You can continue your lunch with your coworkers. I turned it off. Bye El's. I love you."

"Bye dear."

And Tut, the call has been switched off by Elden.

While Laura who saw that could only smile thinly.
