Great Temptation

Early in the morning Kinan was already in the car with Nana. In the next two days, she and Nana are assigned to attend a seminar and training outside the city. The journey to get to the hotel where the seminar took almost 4 hours.

Kinan and Nana only fell asleep during the trip.

Arriving at the hotel, Kinan and Nana immediately report to the committee and they get a room together.

"Good thing we're in the room. Otherwise I'd be scared to be alone in a hotel room like this" Nana said with a big smile.

"Why alone?" ask Kinan.

"Because ... The hotel is usually a lot of residents of invisible creatures. Moreover, this hotel looks a long time ago," said Nana while tightening her body to Kinan.

"What the hell are you Na! You are a coward. I've never experienced a horror incident when staying at a hotel," Kinan just shook his head at the behavior of his best friend.

Kinan and Nana quickly prepared for the first session of the seminar.

Kinan sat himself next to Nana. While waiting for the first session to begin, Kinan again remembered the message that Ardi sent this morning.

Ardi said that this afternoon he would visit Nathasya who he said was sick in the hospital. Actually Kinan wanted to come along to ascertain whether Nathasya was really sick or just pretend. But how else ... These two days Kinan was assigned from the office to attend the seminar.

Kinan could only pray that Nathasya would get well soon if he was really sick and this was not Nathasya's only strategy. Kinan was afraid that Ardi would be deceived and would return to Nathasya and leave him.

The first seminar session has already begun. Kinan could not concentrate and instead daydreamed of Ardi and Nathasya. Somehow Kinan felt that something was going to happen to him. Like a bad feeling. But Kinan could not explain what.

Finishing the first session, Kinan and Nana returned to the hotel room to rest.

Once inside the room, Kinan quickly picked up his phone and sent Ardi a message.

Reversing Kinan opened his phone until dinner but the message did not go back to Ardi.

Nana who was next to him did not ask much or invite Kinan to talk because he knew that his best friend must be in trouble.

Kinan and Nana went straight to the room. The two of them were not interested in getting acquainted with fellow seminar participants.

- Kinan, sorry to reply. Here I've been on my way home from visiting Nathasya in the hospital. Nathasya was really sick with typhus. His condition is very weak. You must be tired, happy resting huh.

Kinan repeatedly read messages from Ardi. The message was like not for a girlfriend but just gave the info. Kinan could only calm his mind and heart. He must believe in Ardi.

I can't be so bad and always suspicious. Maybe I'll call Ardi tomorrow.

The next morning Kinan prepared to attend the seminar sessions today which schedule is crowded. Before entering the seminar room, Kinan had called Ardi but was not appointed. Kinan just resigned and hope that Ardi will call back later.

While this morning at Ardi's house, there was a debate between Ardi and his father.

"Pa, I won't marry Nathasya! How strange now Papa is forcing Ardi this way. Though Papa knows that now Ardi's girlfriend is Kinan," said Ardi held back emotions.

"But now the situation is different Ardi. Do you know why Papa wants to marry you to Nathasya? Papa just wants you to be more successful than Papa."

Ardi could only be silent, his memory returning to the incident last night when he saw Nathasya in the hospital.
