Kinan is wrong. If in front of Ardi, Bu Wida's attitude is normal to him. Even as if he could accept himself. But if there's no Ardi, Ms. Wida's changed. His attitude was cynical and not friendly at all.
Until now, Ardi had not known his mother's attitude towards Kinan.
That night after saying goodbye to Mr. Aris and Ms. Wida, Kinan returned home with Ardi.
"Sister, actually I can take a cab home. Pity you if you have to go back and forth to pick me up," Kinan said when he was in the car.
"Not bothered. I'm even happy to be able to stay with you for longer" said Ardi happily.
"It's not so Brother ... I'm not good with your mom. It was seen that your mama was less than happy to see you drive me home."
"Masa' anyway? Mama's happy."
"Sir Ardi, do you think Mama can accept me?" ask Kinan carefully.
Kinan could not tell Bu Wida's unkind attitude towards him.
Kinan wanted to dig up the information first before determining the attitude.
"What I see is that Mama is accepting of you. Don't worry, dear Kinan," said Ardi, holding Kinan's hand.
"Thank God that your mother can accept me" said Kinan lirih.
Uhh ... I can't honestly say that your mama is cynical about me. It feels sad why is Miss Wida acting like that? Is it possible that I am not worth it when I am with you, Ardi?
"Cintern ... Arrived already. Let me drop to the door" said Ardi, startling Kinan's daydream.
"No need, sister. It's night. Ardi went straight home. Be careful."
"okay ... I go home first huh," said Ardi while kissing Kinan's forehead.
Kinan got out of the car and went straight into his apartment. Ardi kept watching until Kinan was invisible to his eyes and then he drove his car back home.
While in his room, Kinan could not sleep. He just turned his body.
Ah ... Mind fucked!!! I can't sleep. But why can Mama Kak Ardi not like me? What am I supposed to do?
Until late at midnight, Kinan finally fell asleep.
The next day Kinan left for the office as usual. The meeting schedule this morning was canceled because Ardi had a meeting with a client outside the office. Meeting's adjourned tomorrow.
In the afternoon when he was about to go home, Kinan's phone rang a sign that there was an incoming message.
Unknown number? Who yeah?
Kinan opened the message and then he knew if the one who sent the message was Bu Wida.
Oh my goodness ... Why did Mama Kak Ardi come to my apartment? My feelings are not good ... How does he know where I live anyway?
Kinan also replied to a message from Bu Wida.
- Well wait a minute Auntie. Maybe in 10 minutes I have arrived.
Kinan rushed home to his apartment. Invite Mitha and Nana to the coffee shop rejected. But Kinan promised to come to the cafe tomorrow afternoon.
When he reached the apartment, Kinan saw that Bu Wida was waiting for him in the lobby.
"Tante, long time waiting for me?" greet Kinan when he meets Bu Wida.
"Not too long. What floor are you staying on?" ask Ms. Wida.
"Floor 5 . Let's go, Auntie," take Kinan.
Kinan and Bu Wida boarded the elevator and arrived at Kinan's apartment.
Kinan opened the door and let Ms. Wida in.
"Please sit Aunty down, what do I make you drink?" ask Kinan politely.
Actually Kinan was still wondering the purpose of Bu Wida coming to his apartment. If he obeys the heart he wants to ask directly, but Kinan tries to be patient so that Bu Wida himself will say the goal.
"No need. I won't be here long" said Ms. Wida.
"All right"
Kinan sat opposite Bu Wida.
"Kinan, can we just be honest? Frankly I don't approve of you dating my son. Because I know your purpose" Ms. Wida said with an unfriendly face.
"Sorry Aunt Wida, I don't understand what Auntie means yet" Kinan was still confused by Mama Ardi's words.
"Kinan, I know your goal is to date my son just for the money right? Is this apartment also Ardi who paid for it?"
"Sorry Auntie, does Brother Ardi know Aunt's arrival here?"
"It is Kinan, if the money you ask. Here I give you a check that's enough but leave my son!"
Ms. Wida handed me a check. Kinan looked at his nominal number and he was surprised by the fantastic number listed there.
Kinan's hands were trembling. His heart was sad to see a piece of cheque in his hand but the sadness of his heart turned into anger.
