Episodes 3. Getting rid of stepmother

General Yang did not understand the meaning of Madam Su's words. But he felt guilty for his daughter. Due to her busy work, she had never accompanied Qing Xia since she remarried.

Madam Su brought her face closer to Qing Xia's face, she then whispered, "Remember my words, if Miss is in trouble, you should contact me immediately. I will always be ready to help Miss Yang."

After whispering in Qing Xia's ear, Madam Su immediately excused her to go home.

"Qing Xia, father will escort you back to the room. Be careful!" general Yang said as he led the way of Qing Xia.

"Lee, hurry up and get the healer!" general Yang orders a man standing behind him. The man immediately walked over quickly to call the Physician.

Arriving at the room, General Yang sat his daughter's body on the bed. He looked at the blood that became the red dye in Qing Xia's clothes. His heart suddenly felt pain from failing to protect his only daughter.

"What happened to you? Who made you like this?" asked General Yang with teary eyes.

"What's wrong with this guy? Is he really worried about his daughter? Then where was she when her daughter was tortured to death?" inner Qing Xia.

"Dad, i...!"

"Qing Xia, are you okay? I've been looking for you all night until I couldn't sleep and eat. Thank goodness you're okay!"

Mo You Li suddenly walked into the room, he instantly interrupted Qing Xia's remark. He was afraid that the young girl would complain about their actions to General Yang.

"You Li, why did you enter without knocking on the door?" hardik General Yang with an annoyed face. This old man always put manners first. He always reprimands all behavior that can damage the good name of the family.

"Sorry, I was so worried about Qing Xia that I forgot to knock on the door." You Li replied Reasonably.

"Sneaky woman, you think you can stop me from exposing all your crimes?" qing Xia's.

General Yang again asked his daughter, "What did you want to say earlier?"

"A... Dad, I'm scared!" qing Xia said as he pulled General Yang's sleeves.

"Don't be afraid, there's a father here. No one will hurt you." General Yang tried to calm his daughter.

"Taa... But... Ji... If you leave...!" Qing Xia dodged from You Li, she was frightened as if she was looking at the monster in front of her. Making General Yang realize that Qing Xia had been persecuted by his wife was so frightened.

"Mo You Li, did you torture Qing Xia?" asked General Yang with an angry face.

"Where possible, it seems that you misunderstood. Qing Xia, quickly tell father if all this is not true!" You Li looked at Qing Xia, inwardly he thought, "If you dare to tell the truth, I will kill you rancid girl!"

Qing Xia smiled sinisterly, but that smile instantly disappeared once General Yang looked at him.

"Tell me, who's the one who's made your body scarred?" General Yang bit his jaw, revealing blue veins on his neck and face.

"That guy...!" Qing Xia hid behind the burly body of General Yang. Pretending to be frightened with a slightly trembling hand.

"Is your stepmother really the culprit?" asked General Yang directly pointing towards his young wife.

"You Li, how dare you torture my only child!" snapped General Yang with a wrathful face.

"Tok Tok Tok!"

The sound of knocking on the door saved the woman for a while. Lee reported that the doctor had arrived. General Yang directly told the Physician to go inside to check on Qing Xia's state.

General Yang pulled Mo You Li out of the room, he took the woman to the courtyard that was behind the residence.

"Say, what have you done to Qing Xia as long as I'm not home!"

General Yang was visibly furious, he did not expect that his busyness would make his daughter persecuted by the woman he chose to replace the mother figure for Qing Xia.

Mo You Li had always been kind in front of General Yang, she became a gentle and considerate figure when she was in front of her husband. Mo You Li's pretense was unknown to the man, he only realized Mo You Li's true nature after being insinuated by Madam Su earlier.

Mo You Li was terrified, he immediately knelt down in front of General Yang.

"This is just a misunderstanding, I only taught Qing Xia to be a good woman. I punished him because he was out late at night. Please understand my heart, as a mother, I certainly have to be firm with Qing Xia." Mo You Li replied reasoned.

"Teaching you? What did you teach me by torturing my daughter like that? Mo You Li, I am completely blind. Blind to have chosen and married you! From today on, you will no longer be the hostess in Yang's residence."

General Yang has taken the decision to divorce his wife. However Mo You Li quickly pleaded.

"No, don't divorce me. Please give me another chance. I won't leave this house, I'll keep kneeling at the door if you kick me out of here!" threaten the woman.

Knowing General Yang was very good-natured, the man would certainly not let his wife kneel and make a fuss in front of the residence.

Mo You Li's guess turned out to be a miss, General Yang turned around threatening himself.

"Done all your stuff and go back to your parents' house right now. If you don't want to, I'll make you vanish without leaving a bone. Remember that!"

"That Fang Xi, you're really outrageous! I am your wife, the wife who served you for 13 years! You're a man with no conscience!" mo You Li screamed in a loud voice but was ignored by General Yang.

General Yang turned around, he walked away from the woman he had been married to for decades, without leaving even the slightest feeling for her.

"I should have known this sooner, I don't know how much torture my daughter Qing Xia has received. I really failed at being a father." General Yang thought.

Meanwhile, the Physician had already prescribed the medicine to Lee to treat Qing Xia's wounds so as not to leave a mark.

"Don't worry, this scar will soon disappear. This recipe I got from the Huang family, they are already well-known in the field of medicine." said Physician Qing Xia pacified.

"Huang Family? It seemed like the man in the forest also mentioned the Huang family." Qing Xia thought.
