Princess General Yang

Princess General Yang
Episode 23's. Re-encounter

Finished cleaning up and bathing Xin Le, Qing Xia immediately rushed towards the dining room. He apologized to Master and Madam Su for coming late.

"Sit here." Madam Su said to Qing Xia.

Madam Su instantly lifted Xin Le onto her lap. He asked Xin Le, "Is this delay caused by Xin Le's mischief again?"

"Hehe... Grandma, Xin Le is indeed the cause of this delay. But Xin Le wasn't naughty, it was just that right now Xin Le was studying a lot of things, so Xin Le always made Mother troubled."

Looking at her grandson who was trying to explain at length, Madam Su smiled and then kissed his cheek.

"Mother, don't spoil her too much. He will become more and more mischievous and difficult to manage later." Qing Xia complained.

"Haha...! Don't worry, Xin Le won't be as bad as her uncle." said Mr. Su defending his adorable grandson.

Qing Xia was happy to see her two foster parents so affectionate towards Xin Le. She was relieved that if she had to leave Xin Le one day, there would still be a family that loved her son sincerely.

"All of you must be hungry, let's eat!" take Madame Su who immediately brought food into Xin Le's bowl.

"Xia, tonight there's a flower festival on the streets. Would you like to take Xin Le to go have some fun outside?" ask Mr. Su.

"Xin Le wants to, Xin Le wants to go!" the boy shouted with excitement.

Qing Xia smiled happily looking at the face of Xin Le who was so happy. He finally agreed to go to the festival with his son. Mr. Su secretly gave the pocket money to his grandson. He whispered in Xin Le's ear, "Use this money to buy whatever Xin Le wants."

Xin Le nodded happily, only this time did her mother agree to take her out. Usually Qing Xia just kept quiet at home, she was busy training her inner strength and physical strength in preparation for revenge.

A horse carriage was waiting in front of the gate, an old woman was sitting in front. Qing Xia had just come out, she was holding Xin Le's hand. The old woman immediately got off and helped Qing Xia to get on the horse carriage.

"Thank you Granny Li." Qing Xia said to the old woman.

The horse-drawn carriage set off, along the crowded and crowded streets. Occasionally Xin Le opened the window curtain, she stared outside, looking for what she wanted to buy.

"Xin Le, should we go down to take a close look?" qing Xia asked who found out if Xin Le wanted to immediately explore with her feet.

"Need, very necessary! Xin Le was already tired of sitting on and on." she replied excitedly.

"Grandmother Li, please stop for a moment." Qing Xia asked.

After the horse carriage came to a complete stop, Qing Xia brought Xin Le down. They went around on foot, Xin Le held tightly to her mother's hand while glancing right and left.

Xin Le was happy to be able to see clearly from close range, so she could try different types of food that she had never eaten there.

"Mother, Xin Le wants to try on that toy!" the door pointed to the lantern seller.

"You want to release a lantern into the sky?" qing Xia asked after following the direction that Xin Le pointed to.

Xin Le immediately nodded, "Xin Le is willing to make a plea to the heavens. Can Xin Le buy that lantern?" ask again while staring at the lantern seller.

"Alright, let's buy it and take it off together" Qing Xia replied as she stroked Xin Le's delicate hair.

Xin Le ran quickly to the lantern seller, he picked out a bright red lantern. "Mother, Xin Le wants this one!" he screamed with a happy face.

Qing Xia paid for the lantern taken by Xin Le, the lantern seller, and lent them a stationery and ink to write down their dreams on the lantern before it flew into the air.

Xin Le was busy writing with her petite hands, while Qing Xia glanced around the direction to make sure there was no danger threatening them.

"Mother, Xin Le is ready to write. Mother, too, write down your wishes on the lantern." Xin Le said as she handed the brush to Qing Xia's hand.

"My wishes?" thought Qing Xia. He then began to write, "May Xin Le grow up healthy and happy." Qing Xia then read what Xin Le had written on the lantern.

"May mother's wish be granted, may Xin Le's family be happy forever, may Xin Le meet father."

"Dad huh? I don't even know who your father is. Xin Le, all this time you must have been lonely for not having a father." Qing Xia thought.

Qing Xia then said to Xin Le, "Mother is ready, let's fly the lantern." Qing Xia turned her head to the side, yet she did not see Xin Le there. Her face instantly turned frantic, Qing Xia turned her head in all directions to look for Xin Le's whereabouts. He then ran around a very crowded street with a crowd of humans to look for his missing son who went nowhere.

Meanwhile, Xin Le was at a small stall selling flowers. Xin Le was attracted by the pink flowers. He pointed at the flower and asked the owner, "Sister, what is this flower?"

"This is a pink rose. This flower symbolizes happiness and joy." replied the seller.

"I want to buy 4 of these flowers" Xin Le said.

"Why four stalks? Usually people only buy one." asked the curious seller.

"One for mom, one for dad, one for grandpa and one for grandma" Xin Le replied excitedly.

"Well, I'll wrap it up pretty." The seller stringing each rose stalk becomes more beautiful, he ties a ribbon of light blue cloth on the stem.

"Little boy, the flowers are ready. Pretty, right?" The seller handed the ornamented flowers to Xin Le. The boy gave a piece of silver to the florist.

Xin Le walked out of the flower stall. He only realized that Qing Xia had already disappeared from the lantern seller's premises. "Oh, I forgot that if mom's eyes couldn't see clearly, I definitely couldn't see me at this distance" Xin Le thought.

The distance from the lantern seller to the flower stand is only about 5 meters. Yet Qing Xia's eyes that had yet to fully recover, were still unable to see clearly within such a distance. Xin Le finally went around looking for Qing Xia's whereabouts.

Secretly, a man who looked like a thug was trailing Xin Le. The man continued to follow her because he saw Xin Le carrying a fair amount of money. Coupled with Xin Le's pretty adorable and handsome face, the man became intent on kidnapping her.

Xin Le realized that if the man was chasing her from behind, she was trying to escape the kidnapper's eyes. Xin Le ran inside a restaurant, staring at a table in the corner.

Xin Le ran over to the table. He then said in a loud voice, "Dad, Xin Le has returned." hugging the leg of a man sitting there.

The man looked at Xin Le with a hint of curiosity, "Why did he call me father?" ask the man in his mind. She then followed Xin Le's gaze which was looking towards the man who wanted to kidnap her.

"It turns out this kid is using me as a shield. His brain is smart enough for a boy his age." - The boy's mind.

"Let's sit!" take the man while looking at Xin Le's face.

"Thank you." replied Xin Le who realized that the man was trying to help her.

The kidnapper left after seeing Xin Le sitting on a chair located next to the man's seat. After feeling safe, Xin Le again thanked the man beside her.

"Where's your mother?" the man asked curiously because a child as small as Xin Le was left to wander by himself in such a crowded place.

"I lost my mom, I don't know where she is either. Will Uncle help me find my mother?" xin Le asked with her face paled.

"Alright, let's find your mother together."

"Thank you Uncle." said Xin Le.

"Xin Le!"

Suddenly there was the voice of a woman who called out the name Xin Le. The little boy immediately turned around, he saw his mother was behind while calling his name.

"Mother!" call Xin Le who Jumped down from the chair and ran towards Qing Xia. The man also looked back, he was so surprised to see Qing Xia's face.

"The Qing Xia!" he said directly as soon as he saw the face that he so missed.

He immediately stood up and walked over to Qing Xia. He subconsciously hugged the woman's body in public.

"Qing Xia!" he muttered softly in Qing Xia's ears.
