POI 19 - The Real General

Henzie slowly opened his eyes and he realized that he was leaning on Daisy's shoulder, he began to rub his eyes and then realized that Aditya had suddenly disappeared somewhere, when looking out the window, the bus was traveling at normal speed, most likely Aditya was left behind in the Rest Area before him but when Henzie thought about it again, all of that was impossible.

"T-can't be... Adityas..." Henzie approached the driver with slow steps as he did not want to fall, after he arrived behind the driver's seat... the driver looked at Henzie with a panicked expression as he was most likely to question a passenger who had been left on purpose.

"Why are you riding this bus...? Didn't you realize that you just left one passenger...?" Henzie asked with a serious-looking expression, the driver began to think of an excuse so he could believe what he was saying but Henzie could read his mind... he immediately widened his eyes when a policeman approached him and told him to leave Aditya.

That means General Wahyudi's soldiers have come, maybe all this time they follow this bus and find a place to attack Aditya. Henzie clenched both of his fists because he couldn't do anything, he was late.

Henzie walked back to his chair until he showed a worried look, he hoped that Aditya would survive in the Semarang Rest Area, he was worried about Aditya being killed because of the number of soldiers and he was afraid that he and Daisy would not be reunited in Yogyakarta, a very small chance to reunite.

"Sial..if only I can detect the whereabouts of Mana Aditya then I don't have to worry about her..." Henzie sits next to Daisy who is still asleep and begins to think of a way to be reunited with Aditya, "Damn it. I'm out of plan-" Henzie immediately got an idea as he stared at the Mana book.

Henzie took it and he could feel a different Mana in the book, just as Aditya had read it and accidentally practiced it... if he could hold onto an object that still had Mana Aditya then Henzie had a great chance to find himself.

"Alright. don't give up..." Henzie began to open the book and looked for a page about which ability one can detect where one is, "Will Miss panic and be shocked when Aditya is not around huh...?" Henzie began to look at Daisy with a worried expression.

"I've had no choice but to hunt you down, Aditya... at first I was just a cop assigned to guard his streets but a strange phenomenon occurred when my body was filled with blue lines symbolizing the Mana..." David starts talking and Aditya carefully reads his mind to find out if he is lying or not.

"One of the soldiers led by Wahyudi saw myself who had that blue line, at first he was aiming at my head with a rifle but he knocked me unconscious until I arrived in a dark room..." Aditya began to fall silent when he heard that, most likely Wahyudi himself disguised himself as a General so that he could search for various humans who had great Mana abilities.

"What are you talking about with him? Does he want to see which ability it is...?" Ask Aditya.

"That's right... I showed my Mana ability where I could throw a police baton and then turn it around in order to create considerable damage to the Human body but if the baton was far from me then I would not can pull him back, that's my deficiency. Mana's other abilities are the same as the Indonesian army." Answer David.

"I go straight to the core, Aditya... Wahyudi used his position as a General so that the President of the Republic of Indonesia does not suspect himself, in fact he is very interested in all the capabilities of Mana in all Indonesian cities, he's good at disguising himself as a pretty good soldier... All the soldiers he trained had different abilities because some of them he kidnapped and bribed them with money." Aditya starts to read his mind and David says something right.

Aditya clenched both of his fists so that his stomach was still throbbing, "Ck..."

"I have no other choice, he will actually hunt down someone who betrayed him if I fail to kill then the Wahyudi will do Peter to me-" Aditya kicked the rod in front of him and he helped David to stand up, "I believe in you. From the beginning I read your conflicting thoughts, luckily I didn't kill you huh."

"Freely, Aditya. if you let me live, Wahyudi will continue to seek me..." David started pulling his police baton, "I've really failed, I better not continue my duty to kill you..."

"Oi, what are you--" Aditya widened his eyes as David began to hit his own head with the stick until blood gushed out through his already leaking head when a blow hit his head, Aditya is late to stop him because David himself is draining his arms with a flow of Mana so that the movement of his hands can be fast.

In the process of his excavation, Wilhelm came to him with a surprised expression that David was killed just like that, "You found the answer...?" Ask Wilhelm.

After Aditya had finished burying him, he did not forget to raise his right foot to salute the grave, "May you live there in peace..."

"Wilhelm..help..." Aditya started to look at Wilhelm with a limp expression as his body was now in pain, Wilhelm nodded and helped Aditya to escape, "You've already finished off the soldiers...?" Ask Aditya.

"Aman." Wilhelm replied, Aditya nodded and smiled as he seemed to have a soft enough heart not to kill them all. They had to climb up a large mountain before them but by flowing Mana on both of their legs then the journey back towards the Rest Area only took five minutes.

When they reach the Rest Area, Aditya realizes that his bus has gone missing, they must be confused why Aditya suddenly disappeared, "Sial.... have they been planning it all this time? Henzie and Daisy will definitely panic when they realize I'm missing..." Aditya clenched his teeth while clenching his two fists.

"Just calm down, let me take you to them..Where do you really want to go?" Ask Wilhelm.

"Yogyakarta, I want to take refuge there with my two friends." Answer Aditya.

"Then I will take you to Yogyakarta, who knows we will also see your bus. What a coincidence, I also want to visit Yogyakarta and see what tourist attractions are there." Wilhelm approached his car looks quite luxurious, Aditya approached him then he could see his car was black, "Your car is good too huh, what I expect from America."

Wilhelm was surprised when he saw the smoke coming out through the window of his car, it seemed like his friend was smoking in the car, "Ohh. I forgot about him."

"Ohh, are you with someone?" Ask Aditya.

"So, he could be said to be a rather rash friend of mine but he was quite adept at using Mana so he taught me some things, let me introduce him to yourself, let me introduce him to you, he comes from Bandung and sometimes he likes to say Sundanese." Wilhelm opened the back door and Aditya could see a man smoking a cup of coffee.

Aditya was stunned when he saw the man, if not wrong he had seen him in the colonial era since, "W-You...?" The man who was smoking was surprised until he coughed while removing cigarette smoke from his mouth.
