Poison Or Honey?

Poison Or Honey?
Chapter 80

"Didn't a good person deserve the best?" Ask Sean.

Satya turned to Sean with a frown. "What do you mean?".

Sean turned his shoulders. "No meaning whatsoever. It's just my philosophy hehehe". Sean chuckled until the two finally stopped in front of a door.

"This is your wife's nursery, Mr. Satya". Said Sean. "Please enter. I'll just wait outside".

Satya nodded her head then opened the door carefully. Slowly Satya stepped over to Sandra who was lying down and still unconscious. Satya stared at the condition of the wife's body. Slowly his fingers down the bandage that wrapped Sandra's hands up to the elbow. Then Satya also felt a bandage that wrapped both soles of the wife's feet.

"I'm sorry, baby..." Satya muttered with regret. "I'm so negligent in taking care of you".

"You must be in a lot of pain..."

Satya rubbed Sandra's forehead gently. Her long hair was on the side of her face. Tracing her pale face was indeed a sad sight for Satya.

"Satya sir, I'm sorry to interrupt" Sean suddenly went into the nursery. "The doctor who handles your wife wants to be here". Sean looked back at a doctor wearing glasses.

"You're the patient's husband? Come with me, there are some things I need to tell you". Said the doctor.

Satya looked at the doctor for a moment until Satya followed the doctor outside the room. Sean decides to sit on the sofa of the nursery rather than follow Satya. He knew what the doctor was going to tell Satya and he indirectly felt pain in his heart. He recalled his one-night partner's recent remark that the woman had simply aborted her womb without telling herself.

Sean sighed softly while leaning his back against the sofa. "Bad.. Damnit damnit! That haughty woman is really outrageous". Groused Sean. "But I'm curious.. Who was the husband of that woman?" Sean seemed to be thinking hard. "She's the only daughter of the Carlton family. Of course her husband was definitely not from an ordinary family". Said Sean. But Sean quickly looked at Sandra. "But.... The only son of the Nagara family just married a caddy..."

Sean is pulling his hair. "Ah don't know! Wealthy people do a lot of things out of logic!". Said Sean.

In the doctor's office, meanwhile, Satya stared at a paper that contained various actions done on Sandra that had been approved by Sean as the first representative to take Sandra to the hospital.

"If Mr. Sean were late to take your wife to the hospital for immediate follow-up, your current wife could have needed a transfusion due to too much blood loss." Said the doctor.

Satya frowned looking at the doctor. "How come, doc? Wasn't my wife just hit by some glass?" Ask Satya.

The doctor put on a thin smile. The doctor looked at Satya with a serious face. "I'm sorry to get this news". Said the doctor.

"Your wife comes in a condition of the uterus that contracts violently to cause bleeding. The content cannot be saved".

Satya was surprised not to play. Her sharp eyes glazed over. He looked at the doctor with a pias face. "You're not kidding me, are you, Doc?!".

"Sorry to hear news like this, Mr. Satya." Sahut the doctor. "I hope you understand. As a doctor, I will take every action to save the patient. When your wife is taken to the emergency room, her uterus has contracted violently. The blood continues to flow. Until I forced Mr. Sean to immediately approve the operation. I hope you don't blame Mr. Sean for this as well". The doctor looked at Satya.

Satya rubbed her face violently. He then stood up while carrying a piece of paper that had been given by the doctor. "Thank you for doing the best you can as a doctor to my wife". Satya. "However can I ask for your help?".

The doctor nodded too. "What help, Mr Satya?".

The doctor nodded too. "of course. I can help you with that".

Satya nodded and rushed outside the room. Along the corridors of the hospital his mind ran everywhere. He felt tremendous heartache when he learned the fact that his future son even became a victim of his negligence. Satya stared at an empty bench in the hospital garden. He stepped up his legs to sit for a moment.

Not long ago Satya sat down, Sean came to Satya with a hot cup of coffee. "Drink". Said Sean while sitting on Satya's side.

"Thank you". Satya receives a cup of coffee from Sean and sips it slowly.

"Why didn't you tell me about my wife who miscarried?" Satya asked as she stared at the steam coming out of her coffee.

"I think it's very sensitive to be conveyed by others like me. You better know it directly from the doctor who handles your wife". Answer Sean straightforwardly.

Satya nodded in understanding. "Yes. Youre right. It's very sensitive".

"If I've never seen it, but I feel very sad to lose it just like that" Satya said with a faint smile.

"I can understand your feelings".

Satya looked at Sean seriously. "How can you understand it when you've never been in my position?".

Sean chuckled softly. He looked at his coffee glass. "Just consider it from an unintentional mistake to finally produce something". Sean said chuckling. "I don't know at all if it ever existed. I found out a few months later".

Satya looked at Sean with an indecipherable look. "Do you want to help me?".

"Help what?". Ask Sean.

"I want to give my wife the right reply even if it can be many times what she did to my wife"

Sean was surprised not to play. "So right my guess is that someone hurt your wife..."

"of course! You think my wife's crazy doing all this on her own?!". Satya sewot.

Sean chuckles. "I'm sorry that's not what I meant" Sean said. "Forget over that one. So what can I do to help you?".

"You'll bear witness as my wife's helper for now. But I'm sure I need you more than that".

Sean frowned at Satya with a confused look. "You mean how exactly?".

Satya looked at Sean intently. "Nadya Carlton's. I need you to face it".
