Alexis sat in his carriage leisurely, making Rhodri even more riled up to see him. Meanwhile, Howen immediately sat beside the chariot driver.

"Road!!" Alexis's orders.

The horses immediately walked away leaving Rhodri full of emotion.

"You'll regret coming out of your hiding place." Rhodri muttered with emotion.

Alexis smiled triumphantly. "Howen, I think this is a good start." Excited Alexis pleased.

Howen just kept quiet not to reply Alexis.

Arriving at the gates of Aldwick, a guard stopped the pace of their horse-drawn carriage. Howen quickly reached into his pocket and gave the guard a royal invitation and before long the gates of Aldwick's kingdom opened.

A magnificent palace with several towering towers. The flag of the royal coat of arms of Aldwick fluttered almost all over the palace. A spacious courtyard with a garden filled with flowers and ornamental plants, do not forget dozens of statues standing solidly along the road and every corner of the yard is so spacious.

The carriage walked slowly, inside Alexis could not hide his nervousness and uneasiness. Just like when he first came here, but it's no longer a beautiful dream about his father that he thinks of other bad memories about his father.

Alexis immediately brushed off all those bad memories and tried to calm herself down.

Shortly after the train had stopped, Howen got off the train and opened the door for Alexis.

"Please, Your Majesty!" Howen.

But Alexis did not get out of her seat.

"Your Majesty!" Call Howen.

Alexis looked at Howen. "Come, let's go back to Malbork."

"Your Majesty, you better greet Your Majesty first. We've arrived." Howen extended his hand to Alexis.

"Forget it, you won't understand my suffering." Alexis brushed off Howen's hand and immediately stepped down. "For the first time in my life, I really feel like no one loves me." Mumbled Alexis Lirih.

The train went back as soon as Alexis got off. Alexis' eyes were fixed on the person standing at the entrance of the palace.

The man with blond hair with blue irises immediately lowered his head saluting Alexis.

"Se.. Welcome to Your Majesty." Sapa Aiden's.

Alexis immediately moved closer to Aiden.

"Let me take you to see His Majesty Devian." Aiden immediately led them to show the way to Devian's room.

"Why did you kick Aunt Beryl out of the palace?" Alexis glanced at the back of Aiden who was walking in front of him.

"The current palace is no longer safe." Answer Aiden briefly.

"Why? What's going on?" Ask Alexis curiously.

"That's the secret of Aldwick's kingdom, right now you're visiting as King of Malbork not as prince of Aldwick. So, I can't tell you." explained Aiden.

"You're right, but your uncle looks older."

"Humans, will age with time." Answer Aiden.

"You're right again." Alexis smiled faintly. "But why does everyone recognize me so easily. I've changed a lot."

"Because, your eyes still show the same thing." Answer Aiden.

They finally reached the front door of a large room. "Your Majesty, King Al.... "

"Uncle!" Alexis calls Aiden to stop Aiden. "Just open the door."

THE STORY IS CONNECTED BELOW

"But.... "

"Just do it!!" Alexis's orders.

The guards opened the door for Alexis. The sound of the child's footsteps filled the room. The large room was empty, there was only one seat of the throne that was so majestic and tall.

Alexis put her hand on her chest and bowed respectfully to Devian. "Greetings to King Lucery and Aldwick."

"Thank you, you're coming here." Devian got up from his seat.

"You can sit there, I don't want to linger here." Alexis tried to prevent her father from getting close.

"I want to talk to you about something important." Devian continued to walk closer and closer until he could see his son's face clearly.

Devian's face didn't change at all, only his countenance grew colder and wistful. Alexis froze, not a word coming out of her lips.

"Follow me!" Devian walked straight and a door of darkness opened.

Without saying much Alexis immediately followed Devian from behind. They arrived in a room. Alice's entire body went into the water in the aquarium. His skin looks more pale. Alexis walked closer to her mother. His fingers rubbed the glass barrier.

"Mother!" Calling lirih.

Devian walked over, watching the wife's pale face with a sad face.

"The situation got worse after you left." Devian's voice was soft.

Devian was silent and did not answer.

"You will always be like this, bestowing all my faults upon me." Alexis immediately turned away from her mother.

"No, I started all these mistakes. That's why I need your help to make up for all my mistakes." Devian glanced at his son.

Alexis looked down at what he had to say. "You want me to catch a mermaid, or pick up a devil apple?"

"Not both." Answer Devian quickly.

Alexis looked at her father not understanding.

"Be a temporary King to Aldwick and Lucery." The look of Devian's eyes dimmed, a face filled with despair.

"What do you mean?" Alexis did not understand.

"I need someone who can protect Alice. I thought only you could, this kingdom is no longer safe for now."

Alexis recalled what Aiden had said when he arrived.

"You raised a traitor well here." Chirps Alexis.

"Therefore you shall take care of all that is in this kingdom, in my place."

Alexis looked at his father. "Then, what about you?"

"I'll go find the Devil's apple, or catch a Mermaid for your mother." Answer Devian. "As long as I'm gone you.... "

"I'll go." Alexis cut out his father's sentence quickly.

"What do you mean?" Devian asked not understanding.

"I'm leaving, stay here and take good care of mom. At least if I don't come back, you don't have to think about any more sins you've committed." Alexis looked down deeply, hiding every bit of sadness she felt.

"No, it'd be better if you were here. He'll be mad if he finds out I killed his son too." Devian glanced at Alice.

"Don't underestimate me! I don't mean to die that easy." Alexis raised her voice. "I grew up outside the palace, went through many things and became strong. I'll find the fruit. Just take good care of my mother, that way I'll forgive you." Alexis immediately stepped away leaving Devian out of the room.

Outside Aiden and Howen waiting for Alexis. Aiden's face began to fidget.

"They won't kill each other again?" Ask Aiden to Howen.

"I don't think, if that were the case, His Majesty Alexis would have already called." Answer Howen.

Before long the big door opened Alexis stepped out of it with a serious face. As the door closed Alexis looked at Howen her facial expression instantly changed.

"Howen!" His face looks sad. "What do I have to do now?" Ask Alexis to Howen.

"Pa.. My prince has prepared a room for you."

Alexis looked at Aiden. "Am I going to rest and eat at times like this?"

Aiden was speechless, a worried expression now visible on his aging face.

"Show me the way." Alexis said suddenly.

Aiden raised his Eyebrow, not understanding what Alexis meant.

"My room, show me the way!" Alexis's orders.

Aiden looked at Alexis in disbelief. "Room?"

"I need a break too." Alexis looked at Aiden with a plain face.

"Alright, let me drop off." Aiden immediately pointed the way towards the royal guest room. 'I think he has a problem with his brain. It should have been Your Majesty Devian finding this child sooner.' Think Aiden.

"Listen I want everything to go according to plan." The sound of a man filling the room.

"Can you shut up! I've had enough of a headache with Alexis." Rhodri looked at the large mirror before her with emotion.

The shadow of a person is seen walking in the mirror approaching Rhodri.

"Devian will send his son to get the fruit with his help you can eat the devil fruit and you will be able to awaken your power as well as mine. We'll rule the whole world together." Adrian looked at his only child.

Rhodri raised her eyebrows, as if asking for more explanation about what her father was planning.

"When the boy got the devil's apple, you came and took it. Easier work, right?" Adrian smiled as if luck was on his side.

"I think I have a better plan." Rhodri looked at her father, a different look in Rhodri's eyes.

Note: there is a myth that says Mermaid meat can make people who consume it will live eternally because it is here Alexis will look for Mermaids.

While the devil apple is actually inspired from the Greek story where there is a golden apple that makes people who consume it will become gods.

Therefore if Alexis is unable to find the demon apple she must hunt down the Mermaid to get her flesh. Or it could be that the story can change at any time because the inspiration of the author will sometimes change at any time.
