Chapter 47

Kai looked at the calendar that showed that today was May 16, the day of his birth. No one wanted to wish her a happy birthday, including her mother.

Kai took his phone, then called Syifa.

"Syif," said Kai.

"Kai, why are you?" ask Syifa from across.

"We met in the park near the school, yes" said Kai and then turned off the phone.

Hearing Kai's uncharacteristic voice, Syifa worried and rushed out of the dormitory towards the park not far from the School.

Syifa ran very fast, not caring about the people who saw her, because her current thought was that Kai should be fine.

Not only did Syifa hurry to the park, Kai too. He immediately took a jacket and put on his shoes.

Kai sat alone in the park chair playing with his phone.

"Kai, you're all right?" ask Syifa when she is in front of Kai.

Kai seemed confused to see Syifa panting and sweating. "Lo abis the marathon?" tanyakanya.

"Gue tried to run as fast as possible, because I was afraid of why," Syifa replied while adjusting her breath.

Kai hugged Syifa and stroked the girl's back gently. "Don't worry, I'm fine."

"Why was your voice so loud when calling? I will be worried," said Syifa who was still embraced by Kai.

Kai chuckled, he took off his embrace. Slowly his hands tidied up some of Syifa's messy hair. "Worried it's the same me?"

Syifa nodded weakly.

Kai smiled. "Gue's fine."

"Oh yes Syif, if today there is a birthday, you want to sing a happy birthday song?" ask Kai.

Syifa was silent for a moment. Both of his eyes looked at Kai.

"Kai" said Syifa.

"Yes Syif." Kai looks happy, he thinks that Syifa knows today is her birthday.

"Gue look for a toilet for a while, have not been able to stand it" Syifa said.

Kai sighed. She thought Syifa knew she wanted to go to the toilet.

Syifa left Kai immediately. Syifa did not want to go to the toilet, but to the cake shop to buy a birthday cake to celebrate Kai's birthday without the man's knowledge.

About twenty minutes Kai waited for Syifa, but the girl did not come.

Kai stood up, looking around, the girl did not show her form in the slightest. "Where the hell is Syifa going to the toilet?"

"Happy birthday, Kai."

Kai turned his head, seeing Syifa smile while carrying a small birthday cake in his hand.

Kai fell silent, not giving any response.

"Blow first, melt this for a long time."

"Before being blown, pray first" Syifa added.

Aryasa is still sculpting. Both eyes looked at Syifa with tears.

Syfia sighed and approached the man.  "Kok's dumb, blow fast, Kai."

Kai closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "Oh my God, never take this little happiness, and thank you for bringing Syifa into your life" Kai said, blowing out the candle.

Both corners of Kai's lips expanded. His hands ruffled the hair shoots of the girl before him in a fit of anxiety. "Thank Syif. My birthday this time is different."

"Just like Kai" said Syifa happily.

"Lo knows not Syif, you are the first person who loves me happy birthday," said Kai as he wiped his tears that were at the end of his eyes.

"Wah means a word from me very special," teased Syifa.

"Lo's a special person in my life, Syif," said Kai.

Kai and Syifa looked at each other. They're moving closer. But Kai immediately turned his gaze away from Syifa as his uniform touched the cake held by Syifa.

Syifa tried to hide her smile. Honestly, he couldn't lie with his own feelings, getting closer to Kai, making him even more comfortable and wishing for more from the man.

"I'm sorry the cake is small" said Syifa melted the atmosphere.

Kai took the cake from Syifa's hand and put it on the chair. He pulled Syifa's waist so that she would get closer to him.

Syifa's heart was racing as Kai's face was right in front of her.

Kai closed Syifa's eyes with his palms, then landed his lips on Syifa's tiny lips.

Syifa felt a warm touch that touched her lips.

After a few seconds, Kai opened his palm that covered Syifa's face, then moved his lips away from Syifa's lips.

Kai took a deep breath, "Gue likes you, Syif," he said.

Syif's eyes were rounded. Did he not hear wrong? Kai liked it?

"Lo's no longer kidding, is he, Kai?" ask Syifa not to believe it.

"Religious. I'm serious, I like you" said Kai.

"Kai, you know I have a boyfriend" Syifa said.

"Gue knows, I was wrong. But my feelings cannot be lied to. My permission makes me like you, Syif," said Kai.

Syifa.

"Lo can't return my feelings for nothing. The important thing is that you already know how I feel" said Kai with a serious look.

"One more thing you need to know, I will continue to like you, yes even though I know that, if your heart belongs to someone else," added Kai.
