Library Staff

A room that looks lonely. Only a table with a table lamp illuminates a book.

A book left open in handwriting that has not yet fully filled a single page.

A handsome black-haired young man with purplish-black eyeball stepped in through the only door of the room.

Instantly the room was filled with light to every corner, when the young man allowed the sunlight to enter the room.

Full opening of a curtain that blocks the coming of light. The handsome young man widened his hands towards the sunlight from behind the glass.

As if wanting to embrace the light, momentarily closing his eyes felt a warmth that struck his body.

Alana is the capital city of Dolham.

Hustle and bustle of all the people in the morning. Different types of vehicles. The noise of the knowpot and the horn of the vehicle.

People want to do all kinds of work quickly. No one wants to waste time.

A young man walked leisurely on the sidewalk wearing jeans, sneakers and a hoodie top with a sling bag. It indicates that the young man is a student.

The sound of a car horn sounded right next to him. The car glass was open, looking like a man with pomade hair that was very neatly arranged.

The young man on the sidewalk stopped looking at the man.

''Hey nerd boy, do you need a ride? Oh I forgot that my car can't be driven by the poor." Said the man in the car.

''Do you know why he's always on foot to go to college? That's because umumpun transport isn't even worth it. Haha." A blonde woman in the car.

Laughter instantly filled from inside the car and just left the place.

While the young man on the sidewalk just ignored them and continued his path.

''Davin wait for me!"

The girl's voice rang out from the other side of the road running towards the young man.

''What's wrong, mira? I'd like to walk to campus not needing your ride." Said the young man on the sidewalk, it was Davin.

''You misunderstood me, I approached you because I wanted to walk with you to campus." Mira Sahut.

''Alright, but there are still a few more blocks to reach the campus that is still too far away. Your driver should have taken you." Davin.

''It's okay, I'll be fine." Said Mira.

''Mira, didn't you bring your guards." Ask Davin.

''They were in that car following us. Papa says I don't have to bring a bodyguard with you." Said Mira pointing to the black maybach car behind her.

''Oh yes Davin, my papa asked you to meet him this afternoon. I hope you can fulfill it." Ask Mira.

''There will be many jobs in the library, I cannot promise. But once the library's business is over I'll see your father soon.

Please help me hand this paper over to your papa. I'll call him if I can't see him later." Reply Davin thrusting a pile of paper.

Mira held out her right finger next to her head. A code from his finger brought in a man in a suit and wearing sunglasses.

Without saying much, it was as if the man in the suit understood what his young lady wanted. Opening a black suitcase her young lady put a pile of paper in it.

Closing the suitcase and carrying it very carefully the man in the suit had already moved from the place.

''Davin, why would you prefer a difficult life like this. I mean you can live in an expensive villa, drive a sports car and enjoy a luxurious life." Ask Mira.

''I don't like it." Davin said that immediately cut off Mira's sentence.

''You're very rich, but look at yourself as nothing like a rich man at all. If it continues like that there will be no girl who will come near you." Mira said with a sense of wonder.

''No problem though. Isn't there a girl who always comes near me." Davin stopped his steps and stared intently at the girl beside him.

As if bewitched by that gaze, Mira was unable to take her eyes off.

But immediately grin and silly face became a boom in the midst of beautiful fireworks.

Disappointment mixed with a seething head on Mira's face.

''Don't expect." Mira turned her face around and left Davin after giving a counterattack.

''Ouch.duh. Mira wait for me. You said you wanted to walk together why you left me and gave me this pain." Said Davin who was approaching Mira immediately.

''Hmph. Your fault. I have to hurry. My class starts this morning. See you soon." Said Mira who continued to accelerate her stride of frustration leaving Davin who was still controlling her steps.

Class is over. And as usual, Davin rushed straight to the Campus library.

The library building is separate from the university building. It is located right on the edge of the park not far from there.

The park near the library building is designed in such a way that students feel more comfortable to read and study.

Davin was so happy to be in the library. But it's not because he really likes it. But according to him, the library is the source of all knowledge in this world.

Many of the contributions and efforts that Davin gave to develop and add collections to the library.

Only the head of the library and some of the staff knew about it. Davin deliberately asked him not to expose about his involvement in the construction of the library.

But Davin only asked to include himself as one of the staff in the library.

A handsome man carried some books with him on a trolley. Put it separately on some bookshelves around it. A girl approached him.

"Where is this Theory of Space and Time?''. Ask the girl.

"Mira why are you here?'' Said the man.

"I will help you, so that your work is quickly completed and can meet papa immediately. Can I?'' Ask Mira back.

"Of course, who would refuse the help of a beautiful and sweet girl like you.'' Said the man.

"Davin, don't try to tease me. I haven't counted on the incident this morning.'' Said Mira.

"I didn't do anything to you. It was even you who suddenly stepped on my feet.'' Refute Davin.

"On your head only contains books. Forget it, let's get this job over with.'' Said Mira who still showed her frustration.

Time goes by so fast. It didn't feel like the afternoon had arrived. They both walked away from the library building.

With the car picking up Mira they both left the campus.

Davin just asked to deliver her residence. It was a room not far from the university.

"Thank you Mira, you don't have to wait for me first.'' Pinta Davin's.

"I'll tell papa about your arrival. Dah. I'll see you tomorrow Davin.'' The word Mira was accompanied by a wave of hands and a blink of an eye.

"Hm.. Cutely.'' Thought Davin was still waving his hand even though Mira's car had left.

Awakened when a bicycle passed in front of him that immediately disperse his daydream.

Shortly thereafter Davin had walked out of his room into the street to stop the taxi.

In one of the tall skyscrapers in downtown Alana. Standing a middle-aged man right on the side of the main door, behind him was a neat row of staff who seemed like they were all company leaders.

As if waiting for a very important person, they were already prepared with their best condition.

Davin got off the taxi. Wearing the same clothes as what he was wearing from the morning.

"Wait son where do you want to go, this is not a public road?'' Instantly a security guard halted his steps as Davin passed through the security post.

The security officer received word that someone very important would come to the company building.

Of course he has to work as well as possible and prevent things that might make the company image bad.

"Sir Rio asked me to come to see him. Can I enter the building?'' Ask Davin.

"Sorry son, soon the company will have an important guest. Please cooperate, don't complicate my work. If there is any interest, please come another day.

For now Mr. Rio really cannot be bothered.'' The officer said he noticed what Davin was wearing from head to toe.

"This young man definitely just wants to get into taking some selfies and posting them to social media.
