Patience of Elisha

Patience of Elisha
Chapter 4

Siska painstakingly took care of her sister, Iwan could not get Elisa checked out by a doctor because she did not have money. Elisha only drank traditional medicine made by his mother. Although upset and resentful of Elisha, Nia still makes traditional medicine for him.

Elisha had not been to school for 3 days. He still looks weak. His mother was upset that Elisha could not sell. Nia seemed to be nagging herself in the kitchen.

"It's mom, I shouldn't be ranting. The child is sick too." Iwan looked dizzy looking at his wife.

Nia just stared cynically at her husband. She grumbled to herself while cooking.

In school the learning took place as usual, some days Elisha did not enter school without explanation. Unlike usual Elisha did not go to school. Elisha was known to students who never skipped school.

"The children have been 3 days Elisha did not go to school, anyone knows where?" maya's mother asked Elisha's classmate.

"I know ma'am," Rigidly raised his hand.

"Where is he going, son?"

"Elisa's sick ma'am, it's been 3 days." Said Hardcore to Maya.

"Well, I'll never see her again." Maya is confused.

Teng teng teng

The break bell rang, and the children ran out of class. As Maya prepares to leave the classroom, Nanda follows Maya.

"Mom.bu teacher." Nanda called his teacher repeatedly.

"What's Nanda?" Maya looked back.

"You want to talk to me." Nanda said politely.

"Yes, please son!" Maya then sits on the school terrace.

Maya tries to listen to Nanda. Nanda sits next to Maya's mom and looks for the right words to explain her best friend to her class teacher.

"Mom, Elisha is sick with soy sauce ma'am. Every day Elisha goes home from school." Nanda said sadly.

"Mom only thought it was school." Maya looked at Nanda with a somewhat incredulous look.

"Going to school, too, ma'am." Nanda kept telling stories to convince her teacher. Nanda could not bear to see his friend suffer.

"The mother is ferocious, if the sale does not sell. His mother punished Elisha." Nanda said, he looked pensive after telling her about Elisha.

Maya feels guilty for punishing Elisha, without first finding out why. Maya was silent there was regret in her heart and was sad to hear Nanda's explanation. Maya thinks the little boy is innocent and will never lie. He will tell you what he saw.

"Husss, you can't be a fierce parent to his child!" Maya tries to give Nanda some understanding. Maya stroked Nanda's head gently.

"Yes, after school, Elisha went to see Elisha." Maya then passes from in front of Nanda.

"Thank you ma'am." Nanda seemed happy and relieved to have told her the suffering of her best friend.

Maya walks into the office thinking about her mistakes and punishes without finding a reason why her smart and diligent students can be late.

"Your father Elisha, why did Nia ma'am treat Elisha that way. Is it because Elisha's adopted son?" Maya does know that Elisha is a foster child.

Maya sits at her desk, looking pensive at Elisha. Remembering when he punished Elisha when it was too late. Maya's chest was instantly tight and sad to imagine the face of Elisha who had to live suffered because of the treatment of his adoptive mother.

Other teacher friends seemed to be busy chatting in the break while correcting the work of students.

"Mrs Maya drink tea first." One of the teachers smiled.

"Yes mom, thank you." Maya smiled in a listless manner as usual. His mind kept ringing with feelings of guilt in his most clever student.

"Eat the deck to heal quickly!" Siska stroked her sister's head.

Elisha ate the bread, even though his mouth was bitter. His mother was still busy in the kitchen, as if she did not care about Elisha. Nia only thought about when Elisha was healed and could sell again.

Tong

"Sis, there's that guest." Nia shouted from the kitchen.

Siska ran to the door and was surprised to see who was coming. Ms. Maya was the most beautiful and kind teacher when she was in Elementary School.

"Eh mother!" Siska kissed Maya's hand.

"You're so big, son." Maya stroked Siska's head gently.

Siska invited Maya to sit down. Maya also sat in a chair that looked worn out. Maya's eyes wander in search of Nia's existence.

"Is there a mother, son?"

"There is a mom." Siska rushed to call her mother.

Shortly after, Nia emerged from the kitchen. Nia was surprised but tried to smile with the presence of the teacher from her son.

"Elisha's teacher's mother, Tumben ma'am." Nia looked forced smile.

"Yes ma'am, my arrival wants to visit Elisha he said sick ma'am?" maya replied while handing over the package.

"Yes ma'am is in the room, please come in."

Nia left Elisha and her teacher in the room. He intended to make tea, his heart was upset why Elisha's teacher could find out he was sick when there was no letter to school.

"Lisa dear." Maya enters Elisha's very simple room far from worthy.

"Eh my mother!" Elisha looked surprised.

"You don't have to get up, I know Elisa's sick from Nanda." Maya smiles at Elisha. Maya sits next to Elisha holding Elisha's forehead which is getting cold.

"Elisa's on medication?" ask Maya worriedly.

"Mommy, it's gonna heal, mom." Elisha smiled at his teacher. Elisha's face was still pale, his eyes were faint.

Maya sits near Elisha, caressing Elisha's head. Maya's eyes glazed over, her heart felt sliced at the state of her student's child. His life is very unworthy and from the story of his best friend he must come to make a living.

"You son, your parents don't treat you well." The Maya in the heart.

"Elisa, you have to get well, you have to go to school!" Maya stroked Elisha's hair with a gentle smile.

"Yes, Elisha's mom has missed out on friends." I don't know why Elisha's headache suddenly went away. She never felt the touch of a mother's affection.

"Yes, I've been saying yes son, Elisha is healing fast." Maya kisses Elisha's forehead.

"Thank you mother, good mother has gone to see Elisha." Elisha smiled his heart was relieved. He had no recollection of his teacher ever punishing him before he became ill. Elisha realized his teacher was punishing him because he had done wrong and was undisciplined.

Maya comes out of the room and sits on a chair, Siska lets Maya drink the warm tea that has been served.

Nia went into Elisha's room and confirmed everything they had told her.

"Be careful if you complain." Nia murmured in the heart.
