Very Tempramental
The previously bright night sky was suddenly decorated with white flashes. His blaring voice seemed to clench the ears of anyone who heard it. The black clouds slowly moved and covered the glowing moon. Colorless specks slowly fell soaking the earth.

Lightning continued to pierce each other. Not just once twice but many times made the gloomy night even more gripping.

"KYYYAA..."
Ken turned his head after hearing the screams from the second floor of his house. And that voice came from that room in place by Jessline. Without wasting any time Ken rushed over and approached the woman.
Upon arriving there, Ken saw Jessline who was cowering in fear while hugging his own knee. Sometimes his hands moved to cover his ears.
Jessline hugged Ken as she felt a pat on his shoulder and her cold voice called out his name."I-I'm scared," his voice choked a little. Ken rubbed Jessline's back with a move up and down, convincing her that everything would be fine.
"Don't be afraid I'm here." Whisper Ken while rubbing Jessline's back.
"Don't go, I beg you." The woman begged.
Ken shakes. "I'm not going anywhere, and don't force yourself to talk."
And Ken's warm embrace made Jessline feel calmer and she wasn't as scared as before. Then Jessline let go of her embrace then looked at Ken who was also staring at her. The corners of Ken's lips were drawn upwards forming a paper-thin smile. For a moment Jessline was fixated on seeing that smile, and during the few days of staying with Ken, this was the first time she had seen the man smile.
"Do you feel better?" Jessline nodded. "You better rest, you don't look good. I'll accompany you here."
Jessline looked at Ken's iris without blinking a single bit. With sign language he began to speak. "Mr Zhao, could it be that we have met before? Why do I feel like if you're so familiar, I feel like I'm no stranger to your touch and hugs."
"I don't know myself. And I don't think so, don't talk any more fast breaks." pinta Ken's more like an order.
Jessline pursed her lips. Though he was still not sleepy but Ken instead forced him to go to sleep immediately. "Basan sucks, I'm not a kid so stop forcing me to sleep." Ken snorted long. And with a frenzy the man pinned Jessline's brown head a little hard. "Aww, sick!"
"Why are you so stubborn, hm? All right, it's up to you."

The clock hanging on the new wall pointed to the number 11 noon. Boredom starts to overrun Jessline's feelings. Being quiet all day without doing anything made him feel very bored.
The woman got out of her room and decided to take a walk around the mansion, there was one place in this manson that made Jessline so curious and eager to visit.
Jessline's gaze was fixed on the magnificent building behind the main house. The house is surrounded by a beautiful flower garden that cools the eyes. And for some reason Jessline suddenly thumped at the magnificent building that stood firmly in front of him.
And again he felt Dejavu when he set foot in the courtyard of the building which was actually Ken's private house.
His footing suddenly came to a halt as a shadow suddenly flashed across his head. In that shadow Jessline saw herself with a man whose face was not so clearly in a room whose shape and content in it was exactly the same as the place where she was at the moment.
"Jessline!" And almost the woman fell from her position because she felt a tremendous dizziness.
Lucky someone suddenly came and restrained his body before touching the ground."Are you all right? You look so pale, are you sick?" ask the guy to make sure. Jessline then shook her head and reassured the man if he was okay.
"I'm fine, just a little dizzy. You, don't have to worry." Jessline tries to convince Devan if he's okay. But Devan could not feel calm especially after seeing Jessline's pale face.
"It's okay how? Obviously you're not doing well. Let me take you to your room and get some rest. Don't be stubborn and make others anxious." Jessica is heavy. He reluctantly complies with Devan before he talks more and more.
"All right."
"What are you doing here?" scold someone from behind. His voice sounded so cold and unfriendly.
Then Ken approached the two of them with a sharp gaze that was so dangerous. And even though it was only through her right eye but it was enough to scare Jessline away.
"Ken, listen to my explanation first, actually-"
"Indeed, who gave you permission to enter here let alone bring in a stranger?" Ken interrupts Devan's remarks without giving him a chance to explain.
His eyes kept staring intently at the frightened-looking Jessline and hid behind Devan's back. His heart paled at Ken's cold and sharp gaze.
Jessline kept her face down. Clear threads flowed from the corner of her eyes which then fell and wet her beautiful face. "Don't blame him because I'm the one who asked him to come inside. And keep that attitude of yours you've made her so scared."
"You think I care! I don't like it if my private area is entered by strangers!!!"
Jessline kept her face down. His heart felt so tight looking at the sharp glare and piercing words that came out of the man's mouth. "Sorry, Mr. Zhao," Jessline said regretfully.
"Do you really think that with just an apology, I can forget your sass? If just an apology is enough, maybe the prison won't be full. You think that by putting on such an expression I can melt into you and allow you to do as you please in this house. There are rules, miss, and don't just because your face looks like Luna then I'll-"
"KEN, ENOUGH! What the fuck are you? Why did you leave all the blame to him? I was wrong and it was Gege who brought him into this house. You should be mad at me, not at him!"
"Oh. Didn't he? Since when did you dare to speak in such a high tone to me? DON'T BECAUSE YOU THINK YOU'RE MY BROTHER, THEN I'LL ALWAYS BE GENTLE WITH YOU, DEVAN WU." Ken snapped emotionally.
Devan was so shocked that Jessline was too. Jessline is getting more and more frightened by Ken's attitude. This was indeed not the first time he had seen Ken get angry and lose control like this. What a big love Ken for his late wife. To the extent that he was furious when his personal area was entered by someone else.
It's the first time Jessline has seen Ken's true anger. Jessline closed her eyes tightly. He felt goosebumps himself looking at the man's gaze which was more terrifying than even the Devil's gaze.
Then Ken's gaze rolled on Devan. She was sure that her sister was not experiencing Amnesia to the point that she forgot what she hated and disliked the most.
Ken did not like it the most if his private area and Luna got entered by others, and today Devan seemed to have forgotten him. And Devan could only sigh heavily. He knows best that Ken has been a temperament since Luna's departure three years ago.
But he did not expect that Ken could behave that harshly to Jessline whose face was very similar to Luna.
"Okay, I was wrong and Gege apologized. But don't blame Jessline for not knowing anything. Don't be rude to her anymore because, I'm guilty of it completely."
"Whatever." Say Ken and just leave.
Devan became very unpleasant to this woman next to him. He was affected by Ken's terrible anger.
"Jessline, please forgive your rude attitude, Ken, and don't put it in your heart. He was indeed very rude and became very temperamental since Luna's departure. Brother, I know him very well. If he's angry he'll be very hard to put down."
"It used to be that Luna was the only person who could control her emotions, Ken, but after the tragedy that night no one could control much less calm her emotions if it had exploded." Devan said at length.
Jessline was still stunned to hear Devan's words. He has a strange feeling. And according to Jessline personally, Ken is a very terrible man. His handsome parasol makes him look like a Devil in the form of an Angel.
But behind all this, Jessline sees a sadness so deep that Ken can't express with just words. And his heart felt giddy every time he saw Ken's sharp gaze.
Everything in Ken was so familiar to him from the first time they met. His gaze, his touches all felt so familiar to him. And only time can answer all the questions and puzzles in both Jessline and Ken's hearts.
