Chapter 23
After almost 30 minutes, finally Father, Mamah and Tirta have now reached the gate of Doctor Arman's house. Apparently the gate is made of Hollo iron combined with an iron plate as a gate cover. There is a flower-like shape carving made of iron building bent using a machine to make it look like a rose flower. He got off his motorbike and hit the gate made of iron. There was no response from the host.
"It looks like his house is empty! Because no one answered Dad's greetings and calls from Dad!" say Father.
"So, maybe the occupants are indeed going out, or maybe we have the wrong address?" suddenly Mamah felt that they seemed to have the wrong address.
"There's no way we got the wrong address, Mah! It's obvious that Dr. Arman's residence based on the map is here!" said Dad trying to convince Mamah and Tirta.
"There may be some kind of bell or lever that can be used to tell the occupants inside if there are guests outside!" father said while being seen researching the gate and its surroundings.
Finally I found something similar like a white light switch, there was a picture of a bell on the switch. Usually it is a bell for guests who come and have a need with Doctor Arman.
After Dad pressed the switch, apparently the switch uses a spring system which if the switch is pressed then the switch will return to its original position by itself. Shortly after Dad pressed the switch button, then a sound came from inside the gate.
["Who and what does it take?"]
"Include my name Achmad Soebandi or commonly called by the name of Mr. Andi, I am the brother of one of the patients named Bu Maya. My family and I wanted to see him!" father explained his purpose and purpose.
["Wait a minute! I'll tell Doctor Arman first!]
"Good, Sir! I'll wait here!" answer Father.
Apparently the voice that asked Dad was the voice that came from Security in charge of guarding access in and out of Doctor Arman's house. The security then called the house phone that was inside Doctor Arman's house. It just so happened that Doctor Arman had finished breakfast, so he could pick up the phone immediately. Immediately Mr. Security informs Doctor Arman of the arrival of a guest who is the brother of Bu Maya. Doctor Arman ordered Security to open the gate and let the guest inside.
After receiving a call from security, then Doctor Arman approached Bu Maya.
"Mother Maya, it looks like you've got your brother!" said Dr. Arman.
Hearing Dr. Arman's statement, Ms. Maya looks confused.
"What's? My brother? What's their name?" asked Bu Maya to be confused.
"Security said their names were Mr. Andi and Ms. Maryam!" replied Doctor Arman.
Hearing Doctor Arman mention the two names, Maya smiles happily and says, "Yes, Doc! They are my closest brothers!" Bu Maya feels this is the right time to tell Pak Andi's family that the mastermind of this disaster is the work of Mr. Rahman, her husband Bu Maya herself.
"You look so happy, Miss Maya! Thankfully if your brother's arrival pleases you, it means you can still enjoy your life and recover from depression" said Doctor Arman who saw Bu Maya smiling after knowing that there was Pak Andi and his family wanted to visit Bu Maya.
Meanwhile, outside Doctor Arman's house, Mr. Security opened the gate for Dad and his family. Apparently the gate is a gate that can be moved by an automatic system using buttons. When Mr. Security presses the red button, the gate opens. If Mr. Security presses the black button, then the gate will close by itself.
After the gate opened, Mr. Security also allowed Father, Mamah and Tirta to go inside.
"Please enter Mr. Andi, Dr. Arman is waiting for you with Ms. Maya in the house!" said Mr. Security politely.
"Thank you Mr. Security!" answer Father.
Then Mr. Security pressed the green button and the gate closed itself. Then, Mr. Security escorted Dad, Mamah and Tirta to the doorstep of Doctor Arman's house. Because Doctor Arman has a large land, the distance from the gate to the front door of his house is quite far about 100 meters. After reaching the doorstep of Doctor Arman's house, Father, Mamah and Tirta were greeted by Bu Minah. Mr. Security left them and headed back to the security post. Father, Mamah and Tirta follow Bu Minah inside to see Maya and Doctor Arman.
Mamah immediately hugged Bu Maya, Bu Maya also returned a hug from Mamah. Bu Maya's tears trickled down and fell onto Mamah's shoulder. Mamah who realized Bu Maya was crying then took off her embrace and looked at Bu Maya.
"Mom Maya, why are you crying? You must have been really devastated to lose your husband and daughter! I'm so sorry, Mom!" mama said and hugged Maya again.
Now it's Bu Maya's turn to let go of her embrace, "Thank you for the condolences Miss Maryam! But that's not what makes me cry!" ma'am Maya replied and made Father, Mamah and Tirta surprised by Bu Maya's words.
"If it wasn't for that, then what made you so devastated, ma'am?" mama asked.
Maya also stayed away from Mamah, then she walked to the window. He stared at the clouds in the sky that looked almost cloudy, maybe in a few hours the clouds will be completely dark and rain.
"What makes me feel devastated is because I feel very guilty to you and your family!" said Ms. Maya who was still in a position staring into the clouds through the living room window.
Father who does not understand the words of Bu Maya immediately sent the question, "What does Bu Maya mean? Miss Maya did nothing wrong to us, instead we made you feel lost!-
"Because it was us that your husband was killed by the Demon Serpent Queen! Already we should repay the kindness of Mr. Rahman your husband, Ms. Maya!" babble Daddy long.
Now Miss Maya turned her back and faced the three of them and Doctor Arman, "You have been caught in a trap by my husband! Rahman has framed you, you better not go on a rescue mission for your daughter!"
Hearing the words of Bu Maya, makes Dad become confused and do not understand. He felt that Bu Maya seemed to have really disturbed his soul. It is clear that Dad saw with his own eyes that Mr. Rahman was willing to sacrifice himself to help himself to be able to help Nana. However, why did Bu Maya even say the opposite.
"Sorry, Maya! It seems like you are really in a period of high depression!-
"It looks like you have to make a recovery with the right people!" say Father.
Bu Maya was surprised because it turned out this was beyond her expectations. He thought that Mr. Andi and his family would believe his words so that they could survive Mr. Rahman's trap. However, they even now think that his speech is something hallucination that comes from his depressed soul.
"No, Mr. Andi! Everything I said is true! My husband is not as good a man as you think, he is even willing to sacrifice his own son to achieve his goals!" cry Maya's Mom to make Dad believe it.
The father who did not believe in Bu Maya's words immediately approached Mamah and Tirta.
"Come, Mah! Get Tirta out of here! Looks like Bu Maya has to undergo extra treatment here!" say Father to Mamah.
"Doctor Arman, I'm sorry if our presence bothers you. But, we ask you that if you can cure Ms. Maya, however we already consider her to be our family too!" pinta Dad to Doctor Arman.
Father, Mamah and Tirta also say goodbye to Doctor Arman and Maya. The three of them shake hands with Dr. Arman and Ms. Maya. As Mamah shook hands with Bu Maya, Mamah looked at Bu Maya's eyes deeply. Then Maya said a word.
"Trust me, Miss Maryam! My husband has framed you!"
Hearing the words of Bu Maya, Mamah was silent and thought about the words. But Dad immediately called Mamah and Mamah immediately rushed to follow Dad walking out of Doctor Arman's house. When they reached Dr. Arman's house, Dr. Arman called them. The three of them then stopped and Doctor Arman approached Dad.
"I apologized to Mr. Andi! Not that I want to interfere in business that I do not know, but I just want to tell you that from the results of my diagnosis stated that Ms. Maya is not mentally ill, sir!" doctor Arman said, and Doctor Arman left the three of them and went back into his house.
Dad was silent and contemplated, but somehow seethed in his heart if he would continue this Nana rescue mission. No matter if Mr. Rahman really set him up or not, the most important thing is that they can bring Nana back home. Let Mr. Rahman be his business later if it turns out he framed Dad and the others.
