" Welcome to you young master."

Gabriel turned his head to look at the servants who were bowing towards him. " Where is dad ?"

" The master is in his study, young master."

Gabriel walked straight into his father's study just like that. His mind still remembered about Monica's grievous death. Gabriel knew the girl from Hansen when he first visited the orphanage. Monica is a friendly and kind girl, almost everyone loves her.

Even Monica never did anything bad to anyone else. How could anyone kill him ? Gabriel believes Monica has no enemies both outside and inside her company.

Gabriel opened the door to his father's office. Inside Gabriel saw his father working on the report.

" Dad."

George lifted his eyes. " Sit."

Gabriel sat on the sofa not far from his father's desk. " I want to talk."

" Dad knows." George got up from his seat, walked around the table and leaned against his desk with his hands folded in front of his chest.

" I..."

" You chose him. I warned you once but you ignored it." George said first to cut off the words Gabriel wanted to say.

Gabriel gasped and looked at George in disbelief. Guilt just flowed in his heart. " Yes.so..., the father who killed Monica ?"

George shook his head slowly. " It wasn't me who killed him, it was Zero."

" On the orders of my father, right ?!" Gabriel clenched his hand holding back the anger that was beginning to overwhelm him.

" Yes."

" Dad !"

George smiled slantingly at Gabriel. " Daddy asked you to choose, didn't you ?"

Gabriel's eyes seemed to be reddening withstanding the cries. Gabriel never thought his father would do that to him.

" Monica's lover Hansen and Hansen are my friend's father."

George snorted cynically at the words of his son. " That's why I prefer her lover over your street mates."

" But Hansen looks hurt dad."

" That's what Dad's goal is. The closer you get to him, the more he gets hurt" George said.

Gabriel lowered his head. " He's my friend, Dad. I consider him like my own brother. Can't you see that ?"

" For me he is nothing but a pest." replied George.

Gabriel clenched his fist. His regretful heart was now growing with an invisible pain. Because of his choice Hansen lost a valuable person and it was all caused by his own father.

Gabriel stood up and walked away from his father's office. A single tear fell from his eyes. If Hansen found out about this, the man would definitely hate him.

Why is his father so cruel. Gabriel felt that what his father had been doing was not a form of parental affection for his son. If his father really loved him, there was no way his father could have hurt him to this extent.

Gabriel got into his car and quickly drove him out of the gate of his father's Mansion. His goal right now was to go to his mother's meal. Only there could Gabriel let out his grievance. Although now his mother had turned into a pile of earth but for Gabriel the most comfortable place was still near his mother.

Gabriel got out of the car, walked over to the tomb that had been his destination since.

" Mom." Gabriel kissed his mother's headstone while closing his eyes. Slowly her tears came back.

Gabriel opened his eyes again and rubbed the name engraved beautifully on his mother's tombstone. " I feel pain here mom."

Maybe it's because my dad can also go follow mom there ! Inner Gabriel.

Hansen threw a rock into the ocean for the umpteenth time. His eyes looked at the stone from his throw which sometimes shot and hit the rocks on the beach to cause a loud sound.

" You're like girls every time you're sad."

Hansen looked back and saw Reina walking over to him with a smile. Hansen ignored him and chose to stare at the sea water in front of him.

PLUK !

" Rather than throwing a rock like that, you'd better scream" Reina said.

" Fellows." Hansen moved away from the beach and sat on the sand.

Reina followed Hansen sitting on the sand. " Do you like the beach ?"

" No."

" Why did you go to the beach ?" ask Reina.

" There's him on the beach."

" Monica ?"

Hansen nodded. " Every time I see the blue sea water. I always see Monica's shadow there."

Without Hansen noticing, Reina's smile turned mellow. A few seconds later, Reina's smile returned. At least it's better than seeing Hansen with Monica like back then.

" Is he smiling right now ?" Reina looked at the sea water that looked glittering like diamond shards under the afternoon sky.

" Yes and it looks beautiful." Hansen replied with a gaze still gazing towards the sea water.

" You love her so much, don't you ?"

Hansen shook his head. " I love him."

" Isn't he your lover ?"

Hansen simply smiled back at Reina's question. For him what he feels others need not know.

" Hey ! You do not realize that you are no longer awkward when you are with me ?"

Hansen's forehead looked wrinkled before smiling with a nod of agreement. " Maybe because you're normal now."

Reina looked up at Hansen's words. " normal ? It is true ! So all this time you thought I wasn't normal ?!"

Hansen shrugged indifferently before running away from Reina's reach before the girl went berserk.

" Hansen ! Don't run you !"

Hansen turned to look at Reina. " I have to stay away from abnormal people !"

" What ?! Here you are ! You're a bitch !" Reina stood chasing after Hansen who was running by the beach.

" Please someone come after me !" Hansen laughed and ran back.

Reina glared in annoyance but then smiled as she saw Hansen laughing while running. Eventually the man could forget his sadness even if it was just for a moment and that was because of it.

Reina kept running after Hansen from behind. " Hey handsome ! I'll catch you and kidnap you !"

" Why are you so creepy ?!" Hansen turned around and ran backwards.

" I'm not normal !"

Hansen bit his lower lip withstanding a smile. It was true what Reina said earlier that Hansen was no longer awkward with the girl. The feeling of unease and fear was not felt today as long as Reina did not act flirtatious like the day before. It turns out Reina was a pretty fun person as well.

" I caught you !" Reina pushed Hansen to the point of falling into the sand.

" You cheated."

Reina squatted down laughing and then patted Hansen on the head like a mother. " Next time don't daydream."

Hansen smilingly looked at Reina and patted the sand on the side next to her. " The sun will set."

" Why would the sun go down ?"

" You're blocking her beauty."

" Sucks." Reina spoke in annoyance but continued to follow Hansen.

Hansen chuckled and saw Reina sleeping next to him. Thanks to the girl the sadness can fade a little.
