The snow had stopped completely and after discussing what to do. From a distance, in the shadow of the trees, we observed a building that was on top of a snow mountain.
“That's the building!”
I pointed right up the snowy mountain with Dawn, Shah, and Zia behind me.
Previously we had secured the dragon egg that we were supposed to guard, and also I asked Lazy for help from the headquarters to help monitor and search for information quickly using their respective earpieces.
“You sure you want to go forward with just four?”
Ask Lazy through our earpiece communication channel.
“Uh-huh! Relax, I don't plan on taking anything there. Just curious.”
Actually not only that. If possible, I'd like to know whose facility it belongs to and the name of the sniper before. It was a little worrying me somehow because of his ability.
“Severe!”
I just shrugged my shoulders and said nothing. Then look the other way, look for hills, mountains, or cliffs that might have the same height as the building and find a hill that I think is suitable for a place to lurk.
“Zia don't have to come, in exchange, please go there!”
I pointed at the hill I saw while asking him to monitor from there because he was using RF.
“Fajar with Shah come with me! Because we don't know if there's any other way or not, so we can just wait for Zia.”
After the three of them nodded, Zia ran away towards the hill I asked for and we waited for her to reach a safe point.
“Ega, why not send Zia to the mountain? The place is high, so it's good for reconnaissance, right?”
The Shah asked as well as pointed at the mountain that was slightly higher than the building.
“Good indeed. Anyone would think that, right? So there is a possibility that the place is of concern.”
“What? How's it? Oh, bud. Ah, okay!”
I took out my M4A1 and unlocked its safety before Dawn spoke of anything.
“Udah how long well the three of us not with gini?”
There is a point also after hearing the Dawn. It was the last time we played together.
“Yes too yeah, how long has it been? Eight months?”
“One year more as I recall.”
The Shah answered my question and the Dawn responded.
“Aah. Already started to have busy each, sih.”
“Yeah, because I've been in college, you've been upper middle class, kept the Shah 9th grade and preparation for the final exam. So yeah.. reasonable aja.”
Thas right. They are both younger than me. They even contacted me during the replay to ask the answers to the questions they were facing. Well, of course I helped them.
There's actually another reason why we never play together again. Especially when fighting enemies or attacks like today.
For a while we discussed the past while still playing together. That was when this clan was still a lot of active members. Not as it is today.
We remained in place for the next fifteen minutes until Zia sent out a transmission to contact us.
“Rei, I'm already on the spot!”
“OK! From there please confirm if anyone is outside the building. Like a guard or something. We try to progress slowly.”
“OK!”
I gave a hand signal to the two of them behind me to approach the building slowly by staying in the shadows of the trees.
We saw a door made of open iron on the front of the building and out two snowmobiles each driven by one person before finally closing. They left at high speed down the mountain and disappeared in the distance.
“Zi, did you see two people just now?”
I asked Zia in a constant state of walking while bending over to cut the distance to the building.
“Iya. Judging from the direction they were to the city.”
I could not clearly see their features because this distance was still quite far away. But I think it helped us because inside the building it was two people less.
Arriving in front of the door that was open, I realized that it was a door that would only open using some kind of sensor.
I tried to touch the door and of course nothing happened because I wasn't in their sensor data. Besides, all I felt was cold on the surface of the iron door.
“They wear a kind of door that uses sensors. Laz, can you hack gak?”
“Mana can! No kidding! If they really use the door that has sensors, I can't possibly take care of thousands of system codes alone!”
“Well, who knows. So don't need to be straight.”
As I turned around and looked towards Shah, suddenly he was already holding C4 along with a smile on his face that could be read clearly like “Blown?” are so. Of course I move my index finger in front of my neck. Give him a clear sign that I'll kill him if I do that.
I gave hand signals to Dawn and Shah to circle the building to find another entrance.
“Rei.”
“Iya, Zi?”
I stopped as Zia called me through the earpiece.
“From your position, slightly rotate to the right there is a kind of small door there. But one man's guard. Should I kill?”
I looked for the direction he was referring to and immediately approached. It was true what Zia said. There was an ordinary door there with someone standing next to him smoking a cigarette.
“Don't be killed! They might know later.”
After giving a hand signal to draw attention, Dawn picked up a handful of snow and formed a ball before finally throwing it in the opposite direction to us. Hearing that voice, the person standing near the door approached towards the point where the snowball had fallen.
“What is it?”
After she showed her back, the three of us immediately ran towards her and I held my mouth and nose, while Dawn and Shah were by her side to hold both her hands and feet while struggling.
“Sst-ssst-st...!”
After a while, he did not move anymore but his character's body did not disappear either. That'sthat's true! We didn't kill him and just made the player unconscious. We ransacked his entire outfit and found only a business card with a barcode on its surface.
Looking at the door, there is a kind of tool beside it to read the barcode. Not that it was exaggerating, but didn't this place look very heavily guarded?!
“Follow him!”
After asking Dawn and Shah to tie the unconscious player, the three of us stood right in front of the door.
“Gini, Shah, Dawn. If you're thinking about not going inside, no problem. I'm alone no problem. You see a place that uses sensors like this, I'm not sure they're random people. We are not Bang Sema or Faisal, so if you are afraid of losing things, just go home there let me alone.”
Not that I was willing to throw away everything I had until now. It's just that I still really want to know the name of the sniper who shot me out of fear and not sheer curiosity. Even if it has to sacrifice what I have.
Hearing what I just said, Dawn held onto one of my shoulders and smiled as she said,
“Quiet! There's no Shah!”
I raised both my eyebrows and realized that it had a point.
“Yes too yeah! Yaudah, yok, shah you first!”
“EEHHHH?!”
He looked so panicked that even his body retreated slightly from where he stood. Of course we both laughed about it. But it was only temporary before I finally asked to be serious.
“Hahaha. Already, already. I seriously. If you are afraid of losing things, go home.”
None of them moved. So I assumed it was their answer to stay inside this building.
By lifting the business card I was holding and facing the barcode on the device next to the door, the color of the light on the door that was originally red, was red, now being green signifies if we can enter it.
I opened the inventory and took a mask. It was the same mask I was with Haqqi. Actually I've asked all the clan members to have masks to cover their character identity. But still there are still those who do not use it or even forget. I also often forget to use it. Of course this time I asked the two of them to put on the mask they had.
Opening the door, we slowly entered the hallway with enough lighting to see only the stairs at the end of the hallway.
“Zi, stay on guard there, let us know if anyone comes from outside. Laz, stay alert. If there's something we might call you.”
That way they both simultaneously say “Oke!” and we closed the door from the inside, leaving the bound player frozen outside.
“You have a knife, dagger, or any weapon that has a silencer?”
After asking that, Dawn showed P22 with a silencer, while Syah with UMP45 which also uses a reducer.
“Good!”
Since it was not possible to use AR like the M4A1 in the room, I decided to use the dagger I had to defend myself.
We walked down the hallway and up the twisting stairs there. We saw no one, but there was a door that of course connected a room right near the stairs we had just passed.
This door does not require anything complicated like sensors or barcodes so we easily peek at what is in it.
Someone was leaning on the chair where he was sitting while humming a song I didn't know. But my eyes were fixed on what was in front of him. The screen is amazingly large with a lot of other small screens. THE CCTV?!
In the same way as before, we crippled the player and took over the room.
“Laz, now we are in their CCTV room. You think there's something you can take, don't you? There was one person guarding, but we have disabled.”
“No. After all, if you have paralyzed the observer, indirectly you have turned off their eyes, right?”
I just scratched the back of my neck hearing that. He's not wrong, just why don't I think about it?
“Yah, yes anyway... ah, briefly.”
Using an existing computer, I tried to download the recording data because I thought that the sniper I wanted was on one of the cameras.
“There should be ... ah, see you!”
A camera that seemed to be on the balcony recorded two people, one of whom was the sniper I was looking for.
The door suddenly sounded. Of course with a quick reflex, Dawn and Shah pointed the barrel of their weapons at the door that finally opened. A male player entered the room carrying a white box.
“Oi, time change-..an..”.
He froze when he saw the three of us. Without waiting for anything I hit the player and made myself and himself thrown into the hallway. I tried to strangle him because my position was superior to his.
“Ack-!!”
But just using his right hand, he hit me on the neck using my wrist, then turned things around as soon as he grabbed my other hand and twisted it behind my body and the dagger I was holding was thrown away.
“Ha-agh!!”
His left hand twisted my hand, while his right hand grabbed my neck. I couldn't see from that position, but as soon as the player's body bounced, Dawn immediately lifted me up to make me wake up.
“Uhuk! Thanks!”
“Thank you later!”
He shot one of the player's legs several times in the knee until it was destroyed and made him unable to get up again. While the Shah immediately moved and overstretched his chest using his knees while pointing the barrel on his face.
I approached while touching my neck. He really didn't hold back, eh? Players will not feel pain when attacked or exposed to any weapon. This is not the case if you use your bare hands. In essence, as long as exposed to anything that falls into the weapon category, players will not feel anything. But not with empty hands.
We could feel her look if she really didn't like us. Even his bully teeth sounded clear.
I lowered my body and my left hand reached for his neck, while the right hand raised a fist then dropped a hard punch right into his face many times.
“Sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep!”
After making him unconscious, we tied the two players up and left them in the room with their mouths covered in cloth so that when they woke up they could not scream.
After moving the footage on the disc I found in the room, I planned to get out of this place with Dawn and Shah because I had at least gotten a picture of the person I wanted to know. But it wasn't enough for me.
“Hey, there's still someone I want to look for. Follow me! Before that, Shah, you have a bomb with a big explosive power, right? If there can be a countdown timer.”
“Obviously there! Quick bomb lessons. Press the green button once, continue to enter the desired number, if you have just press the red button to start the countdown.”
I nodded in understanding as he explained. It wasn't as hard as I imagined to activate it.
As soon as the Shah gave me the one bomb I wanted, I took them in because I realized that it was impossible to defeat even one person here without their help. Before if it wasn't for Dawn, I think I'd be dead.
We followed the opposite direction from where we came. Despite finding many other rooms, I decided to ignore and ended up leading us to the end of a hallway with a two-sided door. Not far from that place there was also another round staircase leading up. How many floors are there in this place?!
I asked them to lower their voices and eavesdrop on what was behind the door. We couldn't hear clearly because it was noisy but it was certain that there were a lot of people inside.
I peeked a little to see what was inside. But all I found was players facing their computer screen and there was a main screen in the middle of the room with an unusually large size.
“Ap-?!”
At first glance I saw a photo of Dimas' character's face on their main screen and something about Sector 90 I guess. Not very clear, but I can be sure if the photo is really Dimas.
Not only that, I also looked at the player who was looking closely at the main screen. What he wears is quite striking. His entire body was covered in armor with a purple and green main color from head to toe.
“Uwaaah..”
I was like looking at Haqqi, just that it was much more striking. Especially the color selection. Clearly, they have data on Dimas and I can't allow that.
“Kak Tires, here's the report..”.
A female player approached the person wearing the striking armor and gave her a hologram dish.
“The player whose name is Zatfley is in Sector 59 now with two other players.”, continued the female player.
“Our scout team has three people there, right? Get seven more people to help them! Catch this Zatfley player and find out their base. Don't let them know the data we have on Mainframe. The Chairman, Vice Chairman, and KS have already returned to the main headquarters. So I'm the one who took over while here.”
“Ready!”
I closed the door slowly and called Lazy.
“Laz, you heard just now?”
“Well, less is more. I'm trying to find the data he's referring to. But there are hundreds of folders here so it takes time to look for them.”
I gave a hand signal to Dawn and the Shah to return to where we first entered this place.
“Take your time. We're gonna get out of this place. Zi, stay on guard until we get out.”
“OK!”
Dawn and Shah were walking in front of me and we were trying to get back from the direction we came from, but there was something I could not have imagined happening at all. A female player came down the stairs turning from above and saw us.
“Who- huh?! THERE'S INTRUDERS!!”
He shouted very loudly and obviously anyone who was in the room earlier would hear the player.
I threw the dagger I held onto him. It stuck it in his stomach, then I ran towards him, pulled the dagger and slit his throat.
“Eh?! You-... why in this place?!”
Before answering me, the female character's body disappeared along with the door of the room opened. I recognized the female players just now, but the safety of Shah and Dawn this time was the main thing.
“Lari ... RUN!!! YOU TWO GET OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW!!”
As soon as Dawn and Shah left me, I threw my dagger at the first person to walk out the door of the room. About a male player right on his forehead.
I ran up the stairs leading to the top as soon as the other players came out of the room carrying their respective firearms. Rows of bullets flew towards me but luckily no one hit me.
As soon as I reached the third floor of this place, I did not see anyone else. It's just, this place is just surrounded by glass and I saw the balcony that was previously on CCTV footage. This place looks more like a cafeteria with tables and chairs everywhere.
Hiding behind one of the pillars, I took out the M4A1 from the inventory and opened its safety.
“Huff...!”
I peeked and fired the first bullet at the player who had just climbed the stairs but unfortunately the shot did not hit him. Returning to hide myself, I realized that it was difficult to get out of here safely given the increasing number of players who climbed onto this floor.
“Huufff... ahh, shit!”
“Rei, don't move. Stay still.”
I can't control my breathing. Their numbers are really many. Well, to be honest I like situations that can trigger adrenaline, but if this amount is the same as suicide.
“Alright! Huff huff..”.
I followed Zia's instructions not to move. But they started to surround the pillar I was hiding in.
“Ayok out! You have no way to run!”
“Come out and we won't kill you!”
I didn't obey them at all. I mean, they said they wouldn't kill me, but the barrel of their gun was still pointing at me.
The sound of cracked glass rang out along with a player who suddenly crashed towards me. He was lying down before he disappeared. It didn't take me long to realize it was Zia.
“Oi look out for sniper!! Make protector!”
Someone cheered while turning the table and taking cover behind it. Followed by other players who also do the same. The gunshots from them sounded and I peeked a little.
They fired bullets in random directions but in the direction of Zia's bullets. I opened the inventory and took out the bomb previously given by the Shah and set up a minute but had not activated it.
“Rei, auxiliary.”
Another player was thrown and disappeared when Zia pulled the trigger again. I lowered my body and shot at some of them right on my back, making some disappear.
While almost all of the existing players continued to be killed by Zia, eventually players filled with the armor climbed the stairs. He didn't carry anything as a weapon.
“Oi, oi, oi.. you guys really made our schedule lagging behind. Maybe the Chief will get angry back at us. Therefore, at least I won't let you escape.”
Zia shoots the last player and leaves only those players filled with the armor. I came out of my hiding place and pointed a weapon at him.
“Test your courage for advancing without any weapons.”
“Weapons? Ah-ahahaha sorry about that. But I don't need any weapons.”
He hit one of the pillars made of concrete and smashed it as if it was nothing.
“If I could do something like this to you, why use a weapon?”
“Ehh..”.
A spark suddenly appeared right behind his helmet with the sound of *Klank*
“Hm? What just now?”
He felt the back of his helmet with a puzzled expression.
“Cannot be! My bullet bounced when it hit his helmet!”
I could only open my eyes wide to hear Zia say that and go back to hiding behind the same pillar to fool her while I activated the countdown of the time bomb.
After that I ran to another pillar while shooting him until the magazine that filled my M4A1 ran out. Sure enough, not a single bullet injured him and just bounced like a rubber bullet.
“Yang is right!”
“Huaaaah…! Already?”
He cheated and insulted me by yawning casually. I lowered the weapon and changed the magazine.
“Your name is Ban, yeah? I heard it when you were in the room. Tires like vehicle tires?”
My eyes glanced to ascertain how much more time I had.
“Ban it's actually just a call. The right banner, like Bruce Banner. And also, eavesdropping is not a good habit, you know?”
“Hmm... is that so? By the way, I activated a bomb there. You don't want to get out of this place?”
I pointed at the bomb I was referring to.
“Wait a minute, you just told him?”
“Well, that's what I heard.”
I chuckled as I heard Zia and Lazy flustered through the earpiece.
“Do not worry about me. If you want to escape please. But I don't think it's gonna be that easy. After all, a blast of any magnitude will not penetrate my armor.”
He walked up to the stairs and blocked her. Now I can't get through those stairs. Well my only way out is no more now.
“Umm. There are five new humvees coming in and they stop right at the foot of the building's mountain.”
Help out? This problem is getting longer and harder. I looked towards Zia and made up my mind if I wanted to get out of this place.
“No need to bother to take care of the stairs. I found another way out.”
“Wha-WOI!”
By keeping the M4A1 in hand and making it a shield, I ran right into the glass wall that had gotten a lot of those shot holes and broke them by jumping outside as the bomb I had installed blew up the second and third floors of the building.
Luckily I landed in deep snow and continued to slide down without any safety.
“Oh, jeez!!”
Trying to stop at high speed while gliding like this is not an option. But down there I could see the humvee that Zia was telling me about and those outside started shooting towards me.
By positioning my body, I made a state where it was possible to return their shots. Since it was not possible to stabilize the shot, I chose to shoot in a row.
“GAAAAHHH!!”
Having felt my distance was close enough to one of them, I tried to steer myself and bump into one of those players by making the M4A1 and himself a cushion. We hit one of the humvees and the player disappeared.
“Ah!”
While the other players kept shooting, I ran behind the humvee and hid. The sound *click* continued to sound as I tried to pull the trigger but could not remove any more bullets.
“Come don't get damaged now! Damnit!”
I hit my gun but it didn't work because it was in vain.
A fairly loud crash sound was heard from the top of the mountain, precisely the iron door where the building was located. A vehicle with a heavy engine sound came out and went down quickly and hit the humvee I was sheltering.
I could avoid that. But when the door of the vehicle opened, I could see the Shah in the driver's seat and the Dawn next to it.
“Hai, Guys, want to come?”
Shah invited me with a smile and his voice was deliberately made heavy.
“Najis! But I'm coming!”
I jumped inside and immediately the Shah returned to running the vehicle at high speed.
The vehicle is an H&H Ripshaw. In short, this vehicle is a light tank with a grenade throwing weapon on it. The other four humvees started chasing and kept shooting at us from behind.
“You never said you had a vehicle like this!”
“Well, we don't have any. We found it in their garage.”
Dawn answered. But the interesting thing was the driver.
“I just found out you can drive, Syah.”
“I can! This is an important road.”
I frowned both hearing that. Well, the important thing is we can get away from that place. But the four remaining humvees still followed.
“Bring them out of this region towards the lake!”
I pointed in the direction I wanted the Shah.
“This weapon can not?”
I asked Dawn about the grenade launcher that was on top of the vehicle we were riding in.
“How do I know! Try aja.”
I moved to the middle seat and stood up. Half of my body was outside the ceiling of the car while figuring out how to use it. Unbeknownst to me, I cocked the gun and fired it right in front of our vehicle. The explosion and smoke surprised the Shah and Dawn a little.
“Sorry!”
It didn't take long, we finally reached the lake I meant and came out of the forest area. I turned the gun around until it was completely pointed behind us where the four humvees were still following and shooting at it.
“Death to you!!”
I shouted and pulled the trigger, which triggered the weapon to launch an explosive towards them. The first and second shots didn't hit them because of the mechanics of the weapon I didn't understand yet.
But that way I tried to raise the weapon's elevation and the gunfire started to approach them. But the humvee they were driving started to zigzag.
I just raise both shoulders with a flat face.
“Personation with accuracy!”
That way I kept holding the trigger and let the thrower spew grenades continuously until it hit two humvees which then became three and made the vehicle explode instantly.
While the remaining humvee looks like slamming the steering wheel and upside down on the ice sheet.
“Hah! Shah, stop!”
As soon as Shah dismissed it, I raised the elevation of the catapult and tried to point it at the upside-down humvee.
“Eat this.”
Some players tried to crawl out from the inside before I finally showered with grenades and finished them all off. Even until their vehicles have no shape anymore.
“I guess they were the last.”
We got out of the vehicle with a sense of satisfaction that could not be accommodated. If it was me alone, I would have died even a moment of entering the place.
“It's safe?”
I looked towards Dawn who asked that and answered him.
“Kurasa. Here you! Next time I'll buy it because it works! I also got a recording of the person I want.”
I embrace both of them tightly. But I think I forgot something very important.
“Oya, Rei. How zia?”
Hearing that from the Shah, me and Dawn could only be silent with their eyes wide open. I seem to remember what was so important.
“Ow .. looks like we're in trouble.”
