The Part 18
Selina feels awkward being among Sean's family, especially with Starla making her feel uncomfortable. Whether true or just her feelings, Selina felt Starla just kept looking at her with dislike.
"Where's Sean?" pasha asked without taking her eyes off the chessboard.
"Don't mind him. Your son would rather play with his cell phone than hang out with us here" Evelyn said.
"I'll call him" said Starla.
Starla felt it was her chance to talk to Sean. However, before Starla stepped in, she first saw Sean was walking to the place. The sight the two met, Starla gave her a smile, but Sean just stared at her flatly.
Sean is actually lazy to see Starla, but Sean also does not want his parents to feel suspicious about the strained relationship between himself and Starla.
"So who won?" sean asked who immediately turned everyone's eyes.
"You're tired of your phone making you come here?" ask Evelyn.
"Come, Mam. Why sulk like a child." Sean hugged his mother very spoiled.
"Detach, Mommy. Aren't you ashamed to be so spoiled with Mami" Evelyn said.
"Om Ello, let's go! Soon papi will lose" exclaimed Selina.
"What the hell is a kid?" inner Starla.
"Lo can play chess?" ask Sean.
"I won a provincial chess championship in my old school" Selina said.
"really? Then sit down and try to beat Papi," said Pasha. "Ello is so bad."
"That's because I don't want Papi to feel ashamed if he loses to me" elak Marcello said.
"That's the reason" pasha said.
Selina sat down in front of Pasha after Marcello left the place. Seeing that Starla felt annoyed, she felt unnoticed as usual due to Selina's presence in the house.
"Hey, baby! Defeat Papi! If you win from Papi, I treat you to eat ice cream as much as possible" said Sean.
"Okay, promise ya."
"Promise."
Sean and Selina shake hands.
Selina looked at the chessboard she was concentrating on changing Marcello's previous strategy. After finding the gap Selina passed one of the chess pieces. Surely Pasha was eaten by his trap. In just a few moments Selina made Pasha lose. Everyone applauded and congratulated Pasha on her defeat, except for Starla.
"Om Sean has to keep his promise, yes" Selina said.
"Yes chatty. Want to go now?" ask Sean.
"Mommy wouldn't let him. Selina was the first to come here. He has to have dinner with us" Evelyn said.
"But ...." Selina looked towards Sean. Looking at the man's face as if asking for his opinion.
Sean blinked his eyes while nodding. Selina understood the gesture. The girl looked towards Evelyn while nodding her head.
"Well, Mami will have a special dinner for all of us" Evelyn said. "Mommy to the kitchen first."
After Evelyn left Pasha asked her two sons to follow her. There are important things to discuss.
In the gazebo only live Selina and Starla. Selina feels awkward with Starla. Let alone seeing there was dislike on Starla's face.
"Aunt Starla." Selina's call stops Starla from leaving the place.
"Don't call me that! Aunty? Heh, when did I ever get married to you?" starla said in a sharp tone.
"Far away from me! I don't like being approached by strangers" Starla told me.
"I just want to apologize for my attitude at the restaurant. I know you're upset with me" Salina said.
"It's good that you're aware. If you want me to forgive you .. stay away from Sean!" starla.
"Based on a stupid girl! I told you, never apologize to him. He doesn't deserve that" Sean said. "And lo! On what basis did you tell Selina to stay away from me? Who should stay away from me is lo."
"Sea —"
Sean didn't give Starla a chance to talk.
"Let's go! Don't mind him!" Sean embraces Selina's shoulder taking her away from that place. The two turn around, but Starla's words stop them.
"Sean ... When will you act like this to me?" ask Starla with teary eyes.
Sean clenched his hand and turned to face Starla.
"What kind of attitude? I feel like my attitude is the same as usual. I just don't like your attitude towards Selina. If you want to be appreciated, you also have to learn to respect others. With your current attitude, I feel you're not the Starla I've known all along."
"But, Sea ...."
Sean turned back to Starla. The man didn't want to hear anything coming out of Starla's mouth.
"Sean I feel jealous of your closeness to that girl!" i'm Starla.
Sean stopped his steps as well as Selina. Both of them were shocked to hear Starla's words, but they were even more surprised to see Marcello standing before them.
Sean and Marcello look at each other. The two stared at each other, no one knew the meaning of their gazes except for the sisters. As if understanding Marcello's gaze, Sean first decided to meet the view. Sean tried to act as if he had not heard Starla say.
"Lo's wife-to-be's teaching you to be kind to others." Sean grabbed Selina by the shoulder and went into the house past Marcello.
After Sean and Selina left Marcello stared meaningfully at his future wife. He didn't know what to say to the woman.
"Marcello, listen to —" Starla's speech was cut by Marcello.
"Let's go in! Mommy told us to eat together, "cut Marcello.
Marcello turned around and went back inside first leaving Starla in the place itself. Seeing Marcello's departure, Starla clucked with great annoyance. He knew Marcello must have been angry with him and blamed Selina for it.
The large dining table in the house was crowded, unlike usual. They had dinner with joy. Sean and Selina always make Evelyn and Pasha laugh. The four people in that place were happy, but not with Starla and Marcello both kept quiet. Even Marcello wouldn't want to see Starla for a second.
"Mommy, Papi it's night. I'm taking Selina home" Sean said.
"Yes, Son. You guys be careful on the road" said Pasha.
"Greet Arya and Keisha from us" Evelyn said.
"Selina says Mami, Papi, Om and ... Starla's sister," said Selina.
"Well, Selina plays again sometime" said Marcello.
"Yes Om." Selina kissed the back of Evelyn's hand alternately with pasha as well as Marcello.
Selina hesitated to shake hands with Starla. It seemed that Sean understood Selina's doubts, before Selina reached out her hand to Starla, the man took her away first.
"Well, everybody," Sean said without stopping his steps.
Both are in the car. Sean returns to drive his iron chariot through the city streets. Sean drove at a fairly high speed he did not want to be late to take Selina home or he would get in trouble. But it turns out their journey is hampered by heavy traffic.
"God! Keisha will definitely kill me for this." Sean's words made Selina laugh.
