Old Virgin Santet

Old Virgin Santet
Keji Fitnah...

Larasati walks down the path through the chili plantation. It was sora and it was time to go home. After taking the payment for his wages, he left the chili garden owned by Mr. Jarwo. Along the way, he continued to ring with Iyem's remark that the young girl was married through the intermediary of the shaman next door.

“Do not tell anyone yes, Ma'am!” pinta Iyem at that time.

Laras again walked while occasionally shaking his head because of dizziness with the words Iyem until unconscious if someone was watching him.

Bruck…

Aaa….

Larasati was forcibly pulled into a cottage in a green bean field belonging to a village manager next door. “Close your mouth or I kill!” Larasati nodded forcefully then the man who had hugged her from behind loosened his arms and twisted his body until they faced each other.

The woman was surprised, “Kang Soleh! Why,-“ is not finished Larasati said, Soleh directly attacked him. The man who had been overcome with lust was about to harass Larasati but alas, the woman was already shouting. Some of the people who passed by there finally stopped and turned to look towards the cottage.

Plaque…

“Have you lost your mind, Laras? You used to reject me now that I'm married to Lasmi, you want to seduce me, huh? You're really shameless, Race! I'm disappointed in you. Now what will people think when they see you here? They must think that I seduce you when you are the one who compels. Sorry, Ras. I'll have to slap you so you realize this is wrong.” The people who stood outside the cottage were surprised, including Mr. Jarwo and several other chili pickers.

Soleh came out of the hut, the man was surprised to see many people there. “Laras, out! Look at the results of your actions making everyone look at me like I'm the guilty one here. You're so outrageous, Ras. Gentlemen, mothers, I swear that I do not do what you think. Barrels into this cottage while I'm resting.”

The eyes full of hate were fixed on Larasati who had just come out while holding the end of her clothes. He did not expect to be slandered this cruel. When going to open the mouth, the residents actually throw it with pebbles or land that is there. Larasati screamed for help but no one cared. Soleh smiled slightly after successfully tricking the villagers.

Later that night, the residents gathered to solve the Larasati problem at the village hall. The woman thought that if the punishment for her vilification had been completed, it would continue. Nyai Salamah walked slowly leading her daughter to the door.

“Nduk, I'll come with ya?” ask Nyi Salamah.

Larasati smiled, her face and body bruised by the stone throw. “No need, Mom. I'm gonna fight them tonight. I didn't do it and I could have sworn on behalf of Mom,”tens Larasati. He also went to the village hall. Armed with a flashlight because in some corners of the village there is no electricity, Larasati continues to step towards the village hall.

Plaque…

A slap was instantly received by Larasati as she set foot on the door of the village hall.

“You rejected Kang Soleh, now you seduce him. What do you want, Laras? Do you regret not getting married. Are you ashamed of being called a spinster by the citizens until you darken your eyes and seduce Kang Soleh? Whatever it is you've been itching so much that you forced my husband to touch you, Laras?”

All eyes stared cynically, disgusted at him. “It wasn't me who seduced your husband but it was your husband who pulled me into the cabin. I dare,-“

Plaque…

The second slap before Larasati finished his speech. A woman named Widya, a friend of her youth before her marriage to Soleh slapped her again.

“You are indeed disgusting Laras! I didn't expect you to be this low. From small to big, we're friends but I didn't think you'd force my husband to touch you. I know exactly what my husband is like, Laras. Let alone you, other women who are more beautiful do not make him interested. How can you accuse Kang Soleh of that moment?”

“Wid,-“

A woman named Widya passed by leaving Larasati. Widya sat back on her temple. “Enter Baras!” the woman came in and when she got there she had to take the risk as the person to blame in the case. The act of pretending Soleh managed to influence the villagers so they hated Larasati even more.

The voices telling him to leave are getting more and more crowded. Insults, sneers flowed like waterfalls as if Larasati had no heart and no feelings. Finally, the village chief decided to expel Larasati from there. That night, Larasati came home with a cheerful face. Nyai Salamah until astonished to look at the princess who looks happy.

“What's up, Nduk?” he asked after Larasati entered the house.

“I met a friend, Mom. Tomorrow, he's taking me to town. He'll give me a job there. Mom is home first! Later if I already have income and a place to stay, I will pick up Mom.”

There is doubt that disturbs the heart of Nyai Salamah but urung see the spirit of his daughter is very convincing.

The next day…

Larasati had prepared food for her mother. He prepared to leave after wrapping some clothes.

“Nduk, your friend is not here?”

“No, Mom. He's waiting at the crossroad.”

“Nduk, shouldn't you be here? I'm afraid you went all the way.”

Larasati touched the back of the mother's hand. “Bu, Laras has to get out of this village if you want to succeed. I pray Laras ya!” the old woman also nodded weakly. By noon, Larasati left the village on foot. Arriving at the crossroad, he had to climb a little because the way out of the village had to pass through a dense bamboo forest and uphill.

Laras continued to walk and he passed some men in his village. Some of them had proposed to him first but were rejected subtly because Larasati did not like lazy men like them.

“Where to Laras?” they're stopping. More precisely to stop the woman.

“Soge, Kang! I want to go through.”

Laughter sounds are heard.

Soleh who was in the herd advanced, “Ras, continued yesterday yuk!” Soleh speaks teasingly.

“You guys see right? Who teased me? You witness it, let's meet the village chief and tell them about Kang Soleh's behavior.” Larasati pulled the hand of one of the young men but the young man instead stayed in place staring at Larasati grinning.

The youths surrounded Larasati while grinning, “Do you guys not want to try it?” tawar Soleh makes Larasati shudder. The roar of the motor made Larasati smile. He felt that someone would save him but the closer the bike came, the more the Larasati smile vanished.

“You want to eat well?”

“Pak Jarwo want to come?”

“Definitely!”
