"They're not so stupid that they want to challenge the boss, right.?”.

Angela looks worried too. There was something in Cobert's voice that showed some carelessness.

“...do we have to check what they do...?”

When I said this, not only Klein and Angela, but even the other five members agreed…

I thought about this with a bitter smile. But, I've made a decision. I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight if we left the Labyrinth now and heard they didn't come back from here.

When I quickly checked my equipment and started walking, a voice entered my ear I could hear Klein whispering to Angela behind me.

I thought about whether he was still not satisfied to receive an elbow from me when I heard the content of their conversation that shocked me.

“Ah—Angela-san, how to say it well.he is, Damar, please be kind to him. Even if he is not too good at using his words, not too funny, and a stupid fighting enthusiast.”

Luck was not on our side, we met a group of Lizardmen halfway through. By the time we all got to the top floor of the Labyrinth, thirty minutes had passed and we were still unable to catch up with the members of The Army.

“Maybe they've used their crystals to escape?”

Klein said jokingly, but none of us believed that they would. As a result, we unconsciously accelerated our pace.

When we were halfway through, a voice that made our worries become real echoed in the wall. We all stopped to listen.

“Ahhhh.

A faint voice rang out that, unmistakably, a shout. But it wasn't a monster scream. We all looked at each other and started running fast.

Because we had such a high dexterity, Angela and I ran faster than everyone else, and a distance difference quickly opened up between us and the Klein group.

But this is not a time when we can worry about that. We ran like the wind through a corridor that glowed blue in the opposite direction we ran earlier.

Immediately, the two large doors were seen in our view. They were already open, and we could see the blue flames twinkling and a huge shadow moving slowly inside. We also heard a lot of screaming sounds and metal clashing.

Angela shouted in a sad tone and sped up her run. I followed closely behind. Our feet just touched the floor a little, like if we were flying in the air.

When we were near the door, Angela and I quickly reduced our speed. Sparks came out of our shoes, and we managed to stop right in front of the entrance.

“Hey! Are you guys okay!?”

I screamed and leaned my body forward to see more clearly. Inside—looks like hell.

A bluish-white flame lit up all over the floor. A huge shadow stood right in the middle of all this, its body shining like it was made of metal.

It was the blue demon: The Gleameyes.

As The Gleameyes swung her enormous sword that was similar to a zanbato into the surroundings, a breath of fire shot out from her mouth.

The damage he received still did not reach a third of his HP. Behind it, there was a bunch of shadows, their size was very small compared to the demon. They are a group of The Army, and their members are busy running around to save their own lives.

They could no longer think of speaking. I checked their numbers and soon realized that two of them were missing.

It's good that they've run off by teleporting items, but-.

When I thought about it, one of them hit the side of the zanbato and bounced into the air. His HP had entered the red zone. I don't know why it could be like this, but the demon is now between the Army and the exit, and as a result they can't escape. I shouted towards the fallen player.

“What are you doing!? Quickly use teleport items!”

The man looked at me. His face reflected a bluish tint from the flames around him and was filled with despair. Then he yelled at me

"That's useless…! His K-crystals don't work!!”

“Wha..”

I can't say anything. Does that mean this room is ? It was a rare trap that appeared in the dungeon several times, but it had never appeared in the boss room until now.

“How can it...!”

Angela breathed quickly. In this situation we can't just crash to save them. Then, a player behind the demon raised his voice and shouted.

“What are you saying!! The word escape does not apply to The Liberation Army!! Fight it!! I said fight!!”

That's not wrong anymore is Cobert's voice.

“You jerk!”

I'm yelling. The proof that two people have disappeared inside the crystalless area of — means that they are dead, has disappeared from this world for good. It was a thing to avoid no matter what, and this fool still said such a thing? I felt my blood boiling with anger.

Then Klein and his party arrived.

I quickly informed her of this situation. When he heard it, Klein's expression darkened.

We might be able to run inside and open a way out for them. But since we can't use the crystals in this room, we can't ignore the possibility that one of us could die.

We don't have enough people to fight. When I painstakingly thought of a way out, Cobert somehow managed to get the members to line up again and scream.
