Old Man's Bed
#26: Waiting for the Uncertain

Chequelek

Kenzia turned on her living room lights, there was a sense of disappointment in her heart. The person he was looking for was not in his apartment, the living room lights were off, meaning no one entered.

And Ardhan did not contact her at all. Several times he checked his phone, but there were no messages or incoming calls from Ardhan.

He stepped his feet in lethargy, his face pouting with one corner of his lips drawn to the side.

He threw his bag over the couch, then landed his butt rough. Then leaned his neck against the back of the sofa, hiding his face with both hands.

"Where's Daddy? did Daddy have another fight with aunt Berlin?"

Kenzia is upset, but she can't express it, what right does she have? ah, it was always that which came to his mind when he wanted to rebel and forbid.

The wall clock is ticking, Kenzia hasn't moved off that couch. He took his gawai on the table, turned it on, then turned it back on and put it on.

Time has shown at 11:30, but not a single message has entered from the Daddy.

Tired of waiting, Kenzia lay on the white sofa with her hands bent as her pillow in a curled position. Both eyes felt heavy, but his gaze did not escape from his gaze and ended up closing his eyes.

Somewhere else.

Berlin was being treated in one of the rooms in the hospital, the woman lying weakly with an infusion next to her hand. A few hours ago he was only aware of his critical period.

"and .... " Call Berlin in a weak tone, she looked at her husband who had been silent since. He felt happy, at least he could keep Ardhan from meeting with Kenzia. He did not care about Kenzia, all he cared about was Ardhan and Ardhan.

The old man sat down while crossing his legs, staring at the empty shadow. Since Berlin was declared to be dying, there was guilt in his heart.

After all Berlin was his wife, whom he should have looked after. Either selfish or not, he admits that he is selfish, but he does not want to admit he is selfish.

"fr.... Ow... "

Ardhan reflex stood up, then approached Berlin. "What's wrong?" asked Ardhan worriedly.

Berlin smiled, Ardhan's worries reminiscent of his old self. "I'm just kidding, you've been daydreaming and ignoring me."

Ardhan sighed and stared with a difficult look at the woman in front of him.

"and ... " Berlin took Ardhan's hand. "I beg you to give me a chance. What's the point of me living if you don't give me a chance, I want to be a good wife."

Ardhan was silent, he was confused as to what to answer. One side he wanted to refuse and one side he remembered the Doctor who suggested that Berlin not be too stressed and shook his soul.

"I want us to be like we used to be, I'm ready to leave my career and conceive your child, we're going to have children. Isn't that what you want?" Berlin's gaze was mellow, he sincerely wanted to start from scratch. Seeing Ardhan turning to another woman, he felt how much his heart hurt.

"You better rest, I'm tired too."

Ardhan gently rubbed Berlin's head, then laid his body on the sofa. Slowly closed both eyes.
