30. Powerless

Arriving at Anne's house, the three went straight into the house. Anne who was watching television was shocked to hear the open door. Even more surprised, seeing Floren in a state of injury and a stranger with Ian.

"Flo, what happened to you?" Anne asked worriedly. But Floren who has a strong disposition only saw Anne and went straight to her room to clean her wounds.

Anne who was about to catch up suddenly stopped when Ian withdrew his hand. Prevent Anne from seeing Floren in her current state.

"It's all my fault, I let the lady fight the man alone." Joey said he was sorry and blamed himself.

"Why didn't you help her? Aren't you a man!" Ian said sharply, he had been assigned to look after Floren but because of Joey's carelessness, Floren was injured and that made Ian could only be quiet later.

"I can't fight, I'm sorry." Joey said, then Floren came out with a bandage on his head. Everyone could only remain silent when they saw Floren's extremely cold expression.

"I'm sorry." Joey's great-grandson made Floren look at him. He shouldn't blame Joey but himself for being off guard. He exhaled his breath.

"Ian" Call Floren makes Ian goosebumps himself hearing it. Ian stood with his head lowered.

"Sorry miss, I'm not taking good care of you." Ian said

"Neither miss" Joey and Ian said simultaneously

"And the day after tomorrow, you can enter my campus. I've registered you, no objection." Floren said then went back into the room.

Ian was just resigned, he couldn't go against Floren's orders. Even if he fights himself, he will lose. Ian and Joey say goodbye to Anne. But before that, they were talking about something.

"Auntie, I'm telling you. Don't start talking to Miss Floren if it's not the lady herself who's talking." Ian said

"Why indeed?" Ask Anne who doesn't know Floren's true character yet.

"If the lady had behaved like this, no one would dare to ask her to speak. Miss is in a bad mood and it could affect the people around her." Ian said

"That's my job." Ian said he got into the car with Joey.

This time the trip to Ian's apartment was accompanied by a quiet situation. No one wants to open the conversation like before. Joey was very guilty and he promised himself that he would practice martial arts with Ian seriously.
