Half the Power

Tomorrow comes sooner, Darwin and Rein get out of the cave they lived in last night. Rein narrowed his eyes as he exited the mouth of the cave. The light was so bright this morning.

"Where are we really?" tanya Rein never found a place as beautiful as that.

"This is the land of vampires, my real home" Darwin explained.

"Then will you stay here?" ask Rein.

"Of course, what about you?The palace you have?"ask Darwin.

Rein was worried, he should be taking the lead in his palace at the moment. But Rein doesn't know how to go back there anymore.

"Take a vacation!" break it off casually.

"Alright, let's go!" take Darwin. He pulled Rein's hand and took her jumping in the air.

A few minutes later, the two arrived at a small house. The house is where the remaining vampires gather. Including Alee there.

"Why come here?" ask Rein.

"You will know, too" replied Darwin. The man pushed the door to enter the small house.

Rein followed him from behind. While inside the house, Rein sees many vampires healing their wounds.

"Prince!" they bowed when they saw who was coming.

But Rein's tail was attracted to a girl in the corner.She was very pretty to Rein.

"She was that girl, right?" his inner.

"Sister Darwin!" Alee suddenly ran and hugged Darwin's body.

"Sister?" inner Rein did not believe. They're not even the same in the face.

They had not seen any Rein behind the man's back.

"Ehem!" Darwin immediately released Alee's embrace on him. The girl doesn't seem to like it. But when he saw Rein behind Darwin he immediately suspected him.

"Who is she brother?" alee asked with a suspicious tone. He smelled human blood from Rein's body.

"He's human?" aele asked as she approached Rein. He sniffed the girl's body. Makes Rein a little wary.

"Alee stop it ! He'll be afraid if you're like that" Darwin said.

"Include all. He is Rein, my food source. No one among you has ever touched it. Otherwise you'll know the consequences, right?" darwin.

"Good prince!" answer them.

"But brother, is this not true?" Alee felt Rein was a dangerous person. She did not want her brother to be bound by the girl.

"Enough Alee!" Darwin's flinch dislikes the way Alee interrogates Rein.

Alee then moved away from Rein, looking on his face he was annoyed with the girl. Because Rein the older brother had the heart to rebuke him.

"Now you can return to your own place. And you're Alee too. Go back to your room!" pinta Darwin was firm.

"Okay, brother," Alee replied, she walked out of the room while walking closer to Rein. When he reached nearby, Alee nudged the girl's arm.

"Don't go near my sister!" he said in Rein's ear.

Rein's face seemed to dislike Alee's manner. Not that they were brothers, why did it seem that Alee was taking care of her brother so much from the other girls.

Strange thoughts were reflected in the girl's head. But Darwin quickly realized it.

"Don't think much. She's my step-sister. He's half vampire and half human" he explained.

"Oh so because of the half-sister, maybe the girl had different feelings for Darwin," Inner Rein. He shuddered in horror at imagining it. How could the person who is considered a sister even like her brother.

"Why hit me? Sick tau!" his gerrick.

"I told you not to think strangely. You are the opposite!" said it. Rein could only pursed his lips.

He followed Darwin into another room in the house.

"This is your bed, if anything strange let me know quickly" Darwin left Rein in the room. But before closing the door, he turned around.

"One more thing, don't get out of this house alone!" coined. Rein just nodded small.

He doesn't care what Darwin forbids. The most important thing right now was that he wanted to perfect his training. Because lately Rein felt that there was a great power within his body. But he did not know what power it was.

Rein sat on his bed, then his legs crossed. Rein focused his mind on the power that was within his body.

The longer Rein can find that power. But when it was about to touch him, Rein's soul bounced around inside that body.

"Yahuuk!" from the girl's mouth came thick red blood. The pain in his body made Rein vomit blood.

"Ah why is it so painful?" tanyakanya.

Darwin was in his room also feeling the same pain as Rein. The man immediately shot towards Rein's room.

In the doorway of the room, Darwin saw Rein's mouth filled with blood.

"Rein you why?" darwin's sudden question came, startling Rein.

"Darwin, I'm fine. Just trying to figure out the strange power that is in my body," he explained.

"Weird power?" ask Darwin.

"Yes, there's something embedded in my body. I can feel it, but it's hard to achieve.

"What does Rein mean by the power of the blue gem?" inner Darwin.

"Rein no longer tries to reach it or get it out of your body. Otherwise you'll lose your life" explains Darwin.

"Lost lives? You're kidding Darwin?" mummy Rein.

"I'm not kidding!" he said while looking seriously at Rein's eyes.

"Yes, don't be so bad!" Rein instead switched the conversation.

"Listen to me! Inside your body is a blue gem that holds half my vampire powers."

"What?"

"Because of that stone you can still live until now."

Darwin finally explained everything, about the gemstone that could be another person's struggle.

"So we never say this to anyone, only you and I know! Otherwise your life would be in danger Rein, "he explained again.

"If that power comes back to you, will I die?" ask Rein. Darwin nodded his head.

Rein was silent on the bed, he was still digesting everything Darwin said.

Outside Rein's room door, Alee overheard the two's conversation. The girl knew everything Darwin said.

"So my brother has only half of his strength. And the half is on the girl?" mumbled wailing.

Alee immediately left from there, but when he was about to step. His left leg accidentally hit the corner of the door. Making the little sounds that Darwin could easily hear.

"Who's there?" Darwin immediately headed towards Rein's room door. He checked outside that door. But no one was there.

"What's Darwin?" ask Rein.

"No, there's nothing to Rein" replied Darwin. But he felt that there was a vampire aura on that doorstep other than him. Someone might have heard the talk earlier.
