Null Existence
4. Waiting Afternoon

The flash of the post-lunch event vanished with the roar of traffic and the clamor of the horn at the red light. Rangga turned his head when someone in Ojek's uniform tapped on his window glass.

The old man shifted his mask and the glass of his helmet, there were a few plastic bags swirling around the shabby red scooter he was riding, the color of which was almost faded. Her face and skin are burnt by Mentari, although the look of the face still looks cheerful.

“Pak Sarbini,” muttered Rangga, throwing his smile from behind the glass of the Car.

Rangga did not dare to open the window, worried about disturbing the mood of the princess who was bland in the back seat.

Mr. Sarbini smiled widely, he pointed at the car that Rangga was driving and said,

“Good Car, Mas Rangga.”

Rangga who are trained to read lip movements can recognize which sentences are spoken even though they are not heard. Rangga pointed back at the plastic bag on Pak Sarbini's motorbike.

“Mau between orders, to Market Sunday.” said Mr. Sarbini.

Rangga gave his two thumbs, Mr. Sarbini also laughed and replied with both thumbs wrapped in shabby gloves. Nina glanced from the corner of her eyes at this ridiculous behavior of her driver.

The basis of man is not clear, his lips in the heart.

The lights change color to green, Mr. Sarbini waved and drove his old motor to the right lane, parting way with Rangga who moved forward. Rangga for a moment still followed the old figure twitching in the middle of the traffic with his motorbike.

“You can know him?”

The short question of the sound of an angel inhabiting the passenger bench shocked Rangga for a split second.

“Iya Bu Dyah, I was previously the driver of Ojek Online.” replied Rangga, steady. Half-dead tried to hide the sensation from the butterflies flying inside his stomach.

“Kirain has been working for a long time as a Driver, Skill driving is good.”

Getting such praise, the painting did not stop making the number of butterflies doubled. The effect is getting heavier to soak.

“Iya Nina my dear. The state spent a considerable amount of money to train me in the discipline of Vehicular Warfare. What is it, I'm sure you'll ask that then right?” said Rangga who now turned directly towards Nina.

“Wahai mister Puteri in a beautiful way, meaning that your brother is able to drive with one hand tied, shot and tracked by many ********* at the same time, however, I will not die easily unless the******** are all there first. Now even if the sister deigns to sit in the front seat, may I drive to the destination even though only watching the streets from the reflection of your two clear lentic eyes.” Further.

Thus was the answer from Rangga if he was subject to the writhing of Dopamine in his blood. If only the logic had died, perhaps the answer would not have been as short, as it was,

“I used to be a part of Bu Dyah, once a Kuli Project also.”

The eyes of the two had met when Rangga glanced from the rearview mirror of the car, but Nina turned immediately towards her phone.

“Oh, So yes,” Plus.

Rangga returned to focus on driving while Nina continued to immerse her attention back to the mobile phone. The same silence lasted until finally the metallic blue sedan turned into the Office Tower of a national real estate development company.

Nina immediately lunged out the car door as soon as Rangga opened the lock, a female Staff waiting for her presence in front of the Lobby. While Rangga grabbed a cardboard containing documents in the trunk of the car.

Nina was still talking to the staff when Rangga approached with his card.

“That was the need for the meeting, Bu Dyah?” the staff asked to see Rangga coming. “Let me ask our OB to bring ya, Bu?”

Rangga let out a breath, it seemed that Nina was a little still upset over the events of this morning, her inner self.

“I help ya, Mas?” haggle the Staff back.

“Ngga anything Ma'am, please show me the meeting room.” reject Rangga, return his smile.

Finished with the paperwork that needed to be delivered, Rangga left Nina in the meeting room and decided to wait in the Lobby. Though, Nina had firmly asked to leave him alone and return to the office.

“My girlfriend will pick up, any meeting until night.” reject Nina with a little emphasis on the word Girlfriend, or maybe it was just a feeling Rangga just earlier.

After an hour of waiting in the Lobby, Rangga decided to check back to the Floor where the Meeting Room was located. The modern meeting room is transparent walled though fully soundproofed. Nina seemed to be having a hard argument with some of the audience when Rangga looked up after exiting the elevator door. His face tried to hold back the annoyance even though it still looked professional.

His long shoulder-length hair is now on the cepol rise while leaving fine tendrils on the temple line of his hair, showing his beautiful neck and still look professional.

Rangga and Nina again exchanged glances when the girl threw away her face from the meeting that seemed to memuak kannya, Rangga just sculpt. Nina again threw her face into the middle of the meeting room while muttering softly,

“Ngapain the heck he is,”

Rangga who was able to read the motion of the tiny lips decided to retreat rather than further upset the princess. Unmindful then Nina also returned to look at the face of the elevator door, as if looking for the figure of Rangga who had disappeared.

The young woman again glanced at the presentation slide, though her mind seemed to be running around elsewhere.

Rangga left the Office Tower and chose to spend time at a fast food restaurant not far from there. He was still grumbling with a tray of fried chicken and a fistful of rice and drinks that forced him to spend three times as much as his lunch. But, from there he was still able to observe the top of the Tower where Nina was so that if anything happened, he was not far from it.

He called Ajo, his boss, as he walked in on Ms. Elsa's request to wait for Nina until nightfall. Ajo also said that if Bu Elsa had spoken to him, Ajo just ordered, Ajo said,

“Ngana do not put Bete-bete face yes, if you meet the Prince of Lamborghini to pick up the Princess,” followed by a light laugh Ajo across the phone.

Rangga hung up the phone and smiled knotfully, The boss of that one is fond of joking. The Lamborghini prince was not Rangga had never met, had several times even he appeared with his luxury car to pick up the Princess. Rangga who was no more than Abdi Dalem the steward of the horse would only be able to observe from afar the two nobles were chatting.

It was only a few minutes from 17 pm, the sky was still clear. At a glance he observed the top of Swarnadipa Land Tower, as if his eagle eyes were able to penetrate the walls and bulkhead of the office room, looking for the figure of the princess who was leaning on her chair.

Of course that thing is just the despair of the hump that longs for the moon.

One thing that Rangga did not know, Nina was looking seriously staring at the presentation slide whose colors reflected in the lens of the slim glasses she used. His figure was indeed leaning on his chair and arms, speechless in the dim room.

However, the princess's tribe has now flown since then to a distant place across space and time, before finally landing gracefully on the school grounds that do not know what its name.

The Princess is now down the vast field with the blazing sun on her head.

The shadow of the figure that spread stopped and then flashed a beautiful smile on the five young forms in white-blue uniforms lined up to pay respect to the flag.

His glare and heartbeat echoed on the walls of the longing room.
