David's Proposal

Yumna walked up to them with a sense of uneasiness, were they angry that David was here? Or because of something else?

Yumna steadied her pace towards Indra, Panji, Ajeng and Omah Ratih. When he saw Yumna coming, Omah Ratih immediately stood up and invited Yumna to join.

Yumna sat herself beside Indra, her eyes staring at the former in-law, ah errat, but her in-laws were full of questions.

"Yumna, how are you?" tanya Panji broke the silence created because Yumna was just silent.

"I need some time, Pah," Yumna replied, Panji nodded in understanding.

The incident two years ago was painful for Yumna and David.

So, it is only natural that Yumna or David need time to forget everything to get away from the root of the problem.

He was afraid that his mother would make a mistake like she did a few years ago.

"Darling, what's wrong with you?" David sat down next to Yumna, clasping and stroking her hand.

"Don't you say, you're okay, right?" ask David to worry.

"I'm okay, Mom." Yumna let go of David's hand, embarrassed at the sight of everyone.

"What's up, Mah, Pah?" David asked, because it didn't really impact his family to come here.

"There's nothing, Dav, Omah just miss your son, where is he?" replied Omah Ratih while circulating his gaze looking for Arka.

"Arka is still sleeping, Omah," said David.

David watched his family closely, he was afraid that Ajeng would do or tell him something that was not unlike a few years ago.

As David was seriously staring at his family, Arka who had just woken up from her sleep approached them all in tears.

"Yes, huaaa..." Arka called Yumna.

David and Yumna went straight to Arka, and David held Arka.

"Why baby?" ask David.

"Alka is staying," replied Arka as she pleased. However, her crying stopped when she saw the members of the Wijaya family. Arka spread her eyes looking for someone.

"Who are you looking for?" ask David.

"That brat," answered Arka with her innocent face, which Arka meant was Judah the son of Brian and Diana.

Arka calls him naughty because she thinks Yuda wants to take David away from her.

"Darling, a good boy can't say that." Yumna advised Arka, and Arka nodded.

"But he wanted to take Papah," Arka protested with a bowed face because he felt wrong, while David immediately kissed Arka's cheek lovingly.

Ajeng, Panji and Omah Ratih smiled, they felt very happy, finally after these few years became cold, cruel and fierce people.

Now David has returned to being the old David, David who always smiled and warmed to his family members.

"Dav, do you come here often?" ask Ajeng.

"Yes, Mah, what else if Arka again I thrived, David until can't go home." David replied while jokingly joking with Arka, while Yumna just smiled watching.

"Father, alka tired," Arka protest cut off David's speech, spontaneously everyone laughed out loud because of Arka, including David and Yumna.

Arka who did not understand David's intention just shrugged indifferently.

"Grandfather, pack," Arka took the ring and gave it to Yumna.

Everyone else was made to laugh by Arka's behavior.

"So, how's baby?" ask Panji.

After the ring was attached to Yumna's ring finger, everyone clapped one hand to David and Yumna including Arka. He was the one who most excitedly clapped his hands even though he didn't know anything.
