Not Ordinary Slant
Thirty Seven

"I'm scared, Fis."

Rafka stared at the pair of humans before her with hardened jaws. He quickly approached them and left the mama who was staring at him miserably. However, that emotional full step came to a halt as Rafis raised his face and looked at him sharply.

That look ... the typical intimidating gaze of Bayu Nugroho. Unknowingly Rafka stopped her footsteps and froze.

In fact, as Rafis embraces Agya and guides her into the house, Rafka remains silent. He lowered his gaze, then turned his body violently. Then, go from there, ignoring the worried mama's call.

Rafis knows, not the break Agya wants. However, he still had to succeed in making Agya rest for his beloved girl not to fall.

"Sleeping half an hour. I promise I'll take you back to the hospital." Rafis leads Agya to lie down on the bed. Then, sit next to the girl and gently rub her hair.

"Papa's so because of me, Fis." Warm liquid again flowed from his eyes. Not once did he blame himself. "I'm fighting papa. I'm turning on papa."

Inevitably Rafis joined to break himself, then re-embraced Agya. He said nothing, other than patting Agya's back gently and waiting for the girl to finish with her cries.

As the crying broke, Agya sank her face into Rafis's chest. Spilling all his fears and worries to the point of being tired.

Sure enough, Agya finally fell asleep in Rafis' arms after nearly an hour of crying. Rafis pulled his hand slowly, then exited the room carefully.

Apparently, mama was already waiting in the middle room with her hands folded in front of her chest. His gaze looked cynical as he saw Rafis walking over to him.

"No ethics!" hardik mom. However, Rafis still put on a look of respect.

"I'm saying good to Aunt." Although the know will not be accepted, but Rafis still stretched out his hand, about to salam.

"You know, right? He already has a fiancee! Hugs, alone in the room. Where's your ethics?"

Rafis pulled his hand again, then smiled. She was leaving, but my mother spoke again.

"What do you think, anyway? Thinking of marrying Gya? Think you can beat Rafka? You're a little boy, Rafis." Mama laughed mockingly, then continued, "Gya just thinks you're like Gio. Not more!"

This time, Rafis's face was disturbed. However, as much as possible he did not lose his respect. "I'll take care of you, Auntie."

After saying goodbye, Rafis immediately left the mother who was still heard grumbling. Right at the door of Agya's house, he checks his phone, then goes sliding across the street on his motorcycle.

Unexpectedly, Agya fell asleep until the afternoon. It seemed that the girl was completely exhausted physically and mentally. He pulled his body to sit down and chose to lean for a moment on the head of the bed when his head felt dizzy.

As he was about to reach for the phone on the nightstand to check the clock, his gaze caught a piece of paper that was squeezed into his phone. He changed his mind and moved on to grab the striped paper. Then, read the writing.

Sorry for not keeping your promise. You need to sleep. Eat first, yeah, just get back to the hospital.

Agya just remembered, if he had been in this room with Rafis and .. cried in the arms of the crowd. Agya instantly covered her own gaped mouth, then jumped down from the bed.

"Just up?"

As Agya went down the stairs, she was struck by the sound of her mother apparently sitting at the dinner table. The mature woman stood up and looked at Agya with a weak look. "Quick eating. Then we go to the hospital. Kasian Nak Rafka will wait for your papa. Mama get ready first."

Finally, the two Bastian's favorite women returned to the hospital. Both of them, both seemed mired in sadness, so that no conversation whatever happened during the trip.

"Assalamualaik."

Agya's eyes widened when he found Rafis sitting with Gio on the sofa. Her body was petrified in the doorway, until she looked at him in confusion. Then, be surprised when you see the same figure.

"Getishalam." Rafis standing. He grabbed a leather jacket draped on the back of the sofa, then walked up to Gya with a white plastic in his hand.

"Definitely haven't eaten." Rafis thrust the plastic containing the two boxes of food at Agya and when Agya received it, he again continued, "Eat with Aunt."

Agya is still in trouble. He is still confused by this situation. Especially after this embarrassing incident this morning.

"Pamit first, Auntie."

This time she received Rafis' hand and let her neighbor kiss her on the back. "Assalamualaik."

"Getishalight."

After Rafis' departure, no one has spoken yet. Agya chose to put the plastic on the table, while Mama chose to approach papa.

"Where's Rafka?" Suddenly my mother spoke. He turned his head to Gio who was still sitting on the sofa with his eyes fixed.

"Well? No coming back here again nganterin mama with Kak Gya home."

"It must be because of the boy." Mama approached, then sat down next to Gio. Meanwhile, Gya just silently listened.

"Why did he get to the house this morning?" Mama still looks so upset. "Surely because he's here too, so Nak Rafka is not back."

"Gio who told you, Ma! Gio was also the one who sent Rafis this morning to the house," Gio replied a little annoyed.

Mama looked at Gio furiously. "Well, did you tell the boy to come home? There's definitely a Rafka boy."

This time Gio could not hold back his emotions anymore. He stood up and looked at my disappointed mother. "Don't you see Gya?! Mama didn't see from last night that mama's son was like a dead body?"

Gio's breath seemed to be hunting. This time, however, he tried to control his emotions.

"Not only papa needs to worry, but Kak Gya too!" close Gio with a drop of escaped tears falling down his cheek. Then, get out of there. He really felt useless.
