Not Nackal, Nurul!

Not Nackal, Nurul!
Threat Mr. Sudarsono

“I need to talk to Nurul alone,” said Mr. Sudarsono in a haughty tone.  “OK, but keep your attitude, Mas.  Don't bully Nurul,” said Aunt Lupita.  Aunt Lupita threw a piercing gaze at Nurul.  “It is not good if later Nurul helps us by being forced,” he continued.

Mr. Sudarsono pulled Nurul's arm hard.  He was impatient.  They were in the room where Mr. Sudarsono locked him from the inside.  Nurul's heart was broken.  He realized what was going to happen.  “Please, Om, Om must understand Nurul,” please.

“You see this, Nurul?”  Mr. Sudarsono held a bag he had just taken from his desk drawer, then he took out something he held in his fist.  “Om already have a feeling you will complicate this.  No problem for Om to donate to the foundation or finance your education later, but why do you mess it up!  Of course Om will not let it happen,” said Mr. Sudarsono.

Mr. Sudarsono opened his fist.  There were several bottles the size of a small perfume bottle with a few drops of liquid left in it.  Nurul is very familiar with what Mr. Sudarsono holds.  The potion was a herb that helped Nurul to help his late mother relieve the pain of the illness.

When Mr. Sudarsono felt confident that Nurul recognized the contents of the bottle, he put it back in the bag with his cruel smile.  “Om knows you understand.  Until now Om thought that it was good to make everyone believe that your mother died of her illness.  After all, it would ruin the good name of my partner, the owner of the foundation if it was discovered that your mother died by suicide.  It would be a great scandal,” said Mr. Sudarsono.

“Nurul is not convinced that mother committed suicide,” protest Nurul.  Though of course Nurul has guilt that leads to it.

Nurul was alone in his place on a terrible morning when he found his mother dead and there were several bottles of Nurul's leftover potions lying on the floor near his bed.  Unfortunately, just when Nurul sees her mother, the owner of the foundation has just arrived at their house to talk to Nurul's father.  Nurul had seen all of those events and immediately realized what had happened.

Confused, Nurul asks the advice of the foundation owner.  He wanted to tell his father the truth, but the owner of the foundation forbade him and insisted that Nurul keep his mouth shut.  The owner of the foundation said Nurul's father would be very disappointed to learn how his mother died.  Not to mention the opinions of others if they know the actual events.

A wife of the head of a boarding school foundation commits a grave sin, causing a horrendous scandal and will destroy Nurul's father forever.  So, Nurul agreed to tell everyone that her mother died from her illness.  No one, not even his father, needed to know about his concoction.

Painful guilt engulfed Nurul as she had once.  It was his fault that his mother died, purely Nurul's fault.  If only he had been more careful while storing those artificial herbs!  While experiencing intense pain, her mother was unable to resist the temptation.  In his heart Nurul did not blame his mother.

It might have been evil when he did so, but Nurul thought it would be more terrible if the mother's body had not been bathed and sholled because of this suicide problem.

“So, Nurul,” said Mr. Sudarsono coldly.  “Both of us and the foundation owners know that your mother deliberately drank your homemade potion in large doses to end her suffering.  If Om chooses to tell it, your father will be destroyed,”.

Could it be that the owner of the foundation had done this evil to her?  Then, this haughty man, surely he would easily act evil for what he wanted.

On the other hand Nurul's father would not be willing if Nurul was involved in disguise later, a trick.  It might even mess with his religious principles.

Nurul was aghast as he looked at Mr. Sudarsono.  The man had never been close friends with his family, it always seemed to create invisible pressures for his family.

Unapologetically, Mr. Sudarsono raised his glasses to stare at Nurul more sharply.  “Om don't know what really happened, do you?  Why then would the foundation owner try to cover this up?  People could have speculated that there was a connection between the owner of the foundation and your mother who was not the mahram.  And you are involved as a responsible medicine expert with the potion that your mother gulped,”, said Mr. Sudarsono.

The room seemed to be swaying around Nurul.  The answer to the insistence after the insistence was definitely something that Nurul did not want.  Nurul had no chance at all to challenge the power of Mr. Sudarsono and his high position.

“Your father is very unfortunate to see his daughter brought to justice for murder.  You can not imagine the sickly man will certainly suffer greatly.  That fact will kill him too,” said Mr. Sudarsono.

Nurul.  “Why should I,Om?  Why aren't the other Icha friends that Om asked to do this?” nurul sobbed.  “Because you are our best candidate,” said Mr. Sudarsono.

The heartless eyes of Mr. Sudarsono looked at Nurul with a firmness.  “Nurul is Icha's best friend who knows everything about Icha, what she wants, how she's in the mood, where Icha is going.  Om's suspicions also lie at a time when Icha was far from Om where Nurul was with Icha back then.  I heard you are a smart girl, can learn things quickly.  People among us and other families will also not recognize you, because you are far away,” he explained.

While folding his hands on his chest, Mr. Sudarsono said, “So Nurul just do what I ask.  No one will recognize you, or notice you when you disappear or return to your life,” said Mr. Sudarsono.

Nurul's tears spread.  As powerful as he could, he tried to hold it.  What a cruel arrogant man!  This is unfair to Nurul.  If Nurul meets Icha one day, he will strangle Icha for having caused him this trouble.

No, Nurul shouldn't blame Icha.  This is his own fault.  Had Nurul been careful with the medicinal herbs, none of these problems would have occurred.  Mr. Sudarsono would never make it a threat to Nurul.  This is punishment for Nurul.

Nurul had no other choice.  “Good.  I'll do what Om wants.”  Those words quickly shot out from Nurul's mouth.  “One more thing,” said Mr. Sudarsono.  Nurul's eyes were burning with tears that had not been wiped away.  “What more does Om want from Nurul?” whining.

“You must keep the reason why you are willing to help Om, even from my sister.  Otherwise, Om will divulge all the scandals of your mother's death!” said Mr. Sudarsono.

"So, Aunt Lupita won't let me be blackmailed like this?" inner Nurul's.
