20 - Important Information

Run, that's all I can think of now.

With so much luggage on my back, lie if I don't find it hard. But I feel a pity, if this monster that I have defeated so hard it should only be Dungeon food.

At least, a hundred magic stones were here, perhaps.

Such thoughts kept me going, running through the darkness of the night without complaining about the burden.

Back to the Minotaur, to the first floor.

In other words, this second floor was peaceful but barely provided any benefits.

For now, the first floor with the wide variety of monsters I could eat had a better advantage for me to live on. Besides, I also still hold a grudge with the Minotaur that was there, so I must return!!

"Azhghhh... It's really exhausting, seriously." I'm leaning against a rock, on the first floor. To be more precise, I was now at my first base, close to where I was first sent to this Dungeon.

Yep. I've made it back to the first floor, and now I'm exhausted, I'm sure of that.

How not? I've been fighting for almost 5 hours non-stop, and kept running with bad terrain for the next 3 hours.

To be honest, even I wonder how I can still survive now.

"Ahh, this is refreshing. The water here is the best. I can't compare it to the water in the second-floor river." I said as I buried my face in the water, drinking it.

It is difficult to climb the mountain on the second floor, and I also have to fight against the Ghoul which although a little but still exists.

I've used up all the water, and all I can do is run.

I was informed that monsters from every floor could not pass through the other floors, because the Ghoul had not even been able to break through the stairs. In other words, the connecting stairs of both floors were the safest place in this Dungeon.

Thinking of that, I wanted to rest on the stairs, but I was very tired and wanted to drink immediately. If I stop, I can't walk anymore.

"It was a success, but at least I succeeded" I said confidently.

Right now, I want to rest before making plans for the future, especially when going up to the second floor later.

Two weeks later....

It has been over a month since I was thrown into the Dungeon. The clothes I used were only homemade clothes, and the uniform trousers were somehow very strong until now, even though they were full of wounds.

Two weeks ago, I made a lot of progress. I also got a lot of very useful information going forward.

I hunted every day around the Dungeon, and found the King Minotaur and his men. Believe it or not, he already has 3 men now. I judged it, and it is indeed much weaker than the King Minotaur itself. But on the second floor, I learned that numbers are things to be reckoned with.

Next I stopped by the second floor every day, to check for changes. It might sound pointless, because I spent quite a bit of time going back and forth there. But believe me, nothing is useless.

Because of the routine of returning to the second floor, I came to know the cycle which is important information here.

The night here lasts the same as three days actually, and the day lasts 4 days. And most importantly, when dawn arrived, the Ghouls entered the ground, like hiding from the bright light of the crystal sky.

I was expecting it, but it really came out of the ground, didn't it? And also, it doesn't like light, isn't it similar to me?

No, it's not possible.

Furthermore, while keeping an eye on the second floor, I also did what I had to do, like hunting down the bird monster that gave me wind magic.

To be honest, it was very easy because the monster would have died if I threw it with a stone. Even if it missed, another attack would definitely finish them off soon. But I made one mistake, and attacked the herd.

It was a tough fight, but I managed to eradicate them directly now. Well, even though my body is full of scratches....

Furthermore, I managed to obtain some herbs that could provide medicine, or poison. The poison? Of course this is a very dangerous thing, but here is a very interesting thing.

Medicinal plants, as the name implies it is a treat and cure. And I got a plant that heals wounds, called Curia leaves. Then there are also those that can cure toxins or detoxification, Hilna grass.

The Curia leaves of Hilna grass, they are scattered almost all over the plains of the second floor, so it is easy to find them.

And poison, I found a lot. Very much. For example, toxins that eliminate consciousness, give hallucinations, slow down movement, paralyzed, and so forth. But interestingly, all those poisons can give me additional status when I eat them.

Well, that's not much. But it doesn't even have a time interval, so I can eat it continuously if I want to.

But really, the price paid, which is intoxication, is very high. And most importantly, it felt really bad, disgusting, and sometimes really stuck in my mouth. I tried to hold back the bad feelings in my mouth in the first 10 days, but after that I really couldn't stand it.

I will not eat poison plants to raise my status.

Next, and in my opinion is the most extraordinary discovery.

As previously known, magic stones can increase the amount of magic I have. And I thought, can I do the opposite?

The reason is, the Ghoul magic stone only gives about 3 additional magic. Indeed, I have almost or even more than a hundred of those stones, but when absorbing magic stones, I will feel an overwhelming hatred. And absorbing 100 pieces for an increase that even lost to a few stones, it was not worth it in my opinion.

And there, I was wondering if I could add the contents of the magic contained within the magic stone. Therefore, I put my magic into the Ghoul magic stone.

And when I put in 4, the magic stone started to change color, becoming a bright red color. And as I channeled again, it blinked for a moment, before one second then it exploded.

To be honest, maybe I would have lost a limb if I hadn't run away at that time, but it was a very remarkable discovery.

I tried again with the other 10, and found the same thing.

It was a small explosion that gave off an effect with an area of about half a cubic meter.

Honestly, it's not too big, no. It was so small!!! Not even the ground was gouged because of that. If you could say, it looks like a firecracker you know?!! But I have an idea with that.

And next, I did an experiment with the wind bird magic stone, and got a much larger explosion, with an explosion radius of 5 cubic meters!

Honestly, I thought I was gonna die there. And the power of its destruction is something that cannot be underestimated. Obviously, I will only use this for desperate circumstances.

I'm sure this knowledge is one that will change my life.
