- 12 - Status
I've managed to resist my true killing intent peaked earlier, but I have to figure out the difference that happened to my status.

Heh? Waitaminute! I'm still in a state of poisoning? Well, that's okay with me, because I still feel numb. But it's not as bad as it was, when I really couldn't move.
Maybe the effect of the poison was weakened, because I really couldn't move.
But that's not the point here. In my status inside the brackets, my magic increased by 30 points! Though this was only from a low-level medium magic stone! Compared to mine, it's really far away, right?

Well at least, now I know that I can raise my status by consuming magic stones. Because I can't level up.....

It's been 2 weeks since I've gotten an increase in some of my statuses. In the first 3 days, I could only recuperate, and slightly train my right hand.
I have to get used to using one hand all my life, and I have to be able to fight with this.

And on that very day, I found a flock of birds containing about 20 bird monsters, each of which was the same size as a motor.
Obviously, I didn't want to take the risk, and take the opposite direction to where the monster lived.
And at that moment, I found a staircase leading up. I wonder, is that the stairs that will take me to the next floor?

Since almost the entire area was already mapped, I kept quiet on the base while training my throw, and multiplied the sharp flat stones I could throw for weapons.
And at that moment, I realized. I'm really hungry.
With that, I decided to attack the bird monster, at least I can eat later.
I chose to attack the bird that was being separated from its flock, and kill it with one strike to the head.
When I killed the bird, I checked the status, but nothing changed. So my status didn't rise after killing monsters.
Well, I guessed this, but it really happened, didn't it?
As if I didn't care about it, I ate the bird monster, and I didn't expect it to, but my status rose!!
So I made sure, that my status rose because I ate the monster's meat.
But I got the right thing, poisoning. For this bird, it's a poison that makes me lose consciousness, and it's quite dangerous.
But after eating a few times, I've gotten a little used to it, so it's good.
Getting one intact prey like this is really a change to my fate, because I now got a bag of skin and feathers from that bird. I made it easier to carry stones to attack the enemy, and carry other items.
Instead, I got enough supplies for one month, and quite a lot of magic stones.
After doing some experiments, I wanted to leave my base, but I still lacked water.
I surrounded the entire place on this floor, and found no water in the slightest. Only my base has a pool with water there.
Well, that's what I was thinking, and now I'm ready to go up to the next floor.
It was a long two weeks, but it didn't feel like much I made in these 2 weeks. I have reached some conclusions as well.
I can gain additional status while consuming magic stones, and eating monster meat.
For the same monster meat, there was a 3-hour time interval for me to be able to gain status, but for different monster meat, I was able to get an increase that had no interval.
I can get an increase with the minimum amount of meat eaten is a size of 10×10 with a thickness of 5 cm.
Every time I eat a new monster, I eat a new poison. I have to hold on until I get used to the poison.
"Well, more or less so. I got a lot of things about increasing ability, but thanks to that, I knew I had to be careful, let alone poison matters." I murmured softly while walking, humming.
I also have to be careful if there is a poison that can kill me instantly, with that I will not be able to survive.
Today, I intend to climb the stairs and explore the area above, at least just looking at the view.
I was a bit surprised, why the monsters on the previous floor were so few, and I barely found any other monsters there.
Wellh, maybe because it was a first-floor monster? Like I really thought about it.

It was a far, far-reaching number compared to the first time I came here. Even my original status could be compared to additional skills, that they did not increase at all.
My growing status was the result of me continuing to eat monster meat while being continuously poisoned, and keeping me eating every 3 hours.
It was a large sum, but actually each monster's flesh did not provide much change.
For example, the bird monster only gives 1 HP increase, and 2 MP increase, and sometimes gives an additional 1 to Intelligence.
Sometimes attacks also appear, so this is true gacha. Ahh, I got [Wind Magic] when I ate a boss-like monster among them.
[Wind Magic] is the most useful upgrade for me right now, because by using [Wind Magic], I can increase the speed of the stones I throw, and sharpen the attack.
In addition to the status upgrade, I also pocketed a lot of magic stones right now. It was about 33 or more. One of them was that boss-like bird magic stone.
As I judged it, it was a small magic stone of medium quality. It increased my magic by 10.
I had no intention of relying on magic right now, so I did not consume it all.
After remembering a lot of what I had been doing while walking, I arrived at the stairs that seemed to call me to go up.
