NIGHT BUTTERFLY

NIGHT BUTTERFLY
#187

The sun shines brightly on the eastern horizon. The white light, one pole high, warmed the pedestrians, school children and workers began their activities.

At 10 more, after breakfast, the car boarded by Sulastri and only accompanied by Mr. Mustarah as the driver, was seen just coming out of the gate of the house. Mr. Mustarah had stopped his car when Sulastri waved his hand at Fahmi who was standing watching the cottage building in front of him. After Fahmi returned his wave, Sulastri told Mr. Mustarah to continue the journey.

Throughout the journey Sulastri only fell silent. Unlike usual when before, throughout the trip he will invite Mr. Mustarah to chat about anything. Sulastri knew Mr. Mustarah often stayed up late accompanying Mr. Bayan at the guard post. He invited Mr. Mustarah to chat so that Mr. Mustarah was not sleepy and something unwanted happened. Mr. Mustarah glanced a little. As usual, he felt uncomfortable. But did not dare to ask Sulastri. Seeing his gaze that was thinking about something important, Mr. Mustarah hesitated to invite Sulastri to speak.

Sulastri gave a long sigh. The task asked Rianti after picking up Jamila was to tell Jamila that she would be married to Master Izzul Islam. Rianti really wanted him to be fully involved in the affair. He knew Rianti wanted him to treat Jamila the way he treated Rianti.

The sound of kitaro music that flowed softly from the car tape was raised to a little volume by Mr. Mustarah. Sulastri remained silent, although now he slightly leaned his head like he was enjoying the music.

The warden slapped a short black cane three times into the cell bars. Rianti, who had just finished putting Jamila's clothes in a big bag, nodded his head towards the prison and then asked Jamila to stand up. Rianti grabbed the strap of the bag and placed it in Jamila's hand.

"Do you want me to take your bag out? Look, just to bring myself I can't" joked Rianti. Jamila smile. He looked at Rianti fixedly. Shines began to look in his eyes. Rianti. He gestured with his wiggled finger to the left and to the right so that Jamila would not cry anymore.

"Of course, if you keep crying, this story will never end. Come on, let's wait for mom in the waiting room" Rianti said as he pushed Jamila's body slowly.

When Rianti and Jamila, escorted by officers, walked out from the main door of the courtyard to the meeting room, from the direction of the gate, Sulastri's car entered the parking lot. Rianti smiled. He stopped entering the waiting room and chose to wait for Sulastri at the door.

"Come on, welcome mom there. I'll just wait here. I'm not strong if I walk far" Rianti said. Jamila looked at him doubtfully. It seems like he was embarrassed to do Rianti's orders. Rianti himself deliberately changed his style of speech that led to strict orders, in the hope that Jamila could quickly get along with Sulastri. Jamila who still looks shy at her thrust. Sulastri, who had just stepped out of the car, turned towards Jamila. Jamila must come closer. Rianti smiled as Jamila kissed Sulastri's hand. Afterwards, Sulastri embraces Jamila's hand and invites her to meet Rianti.

Rianti spread out both hands and was immediately greeted by Sulastri's warm embrace. Alternating the left and right cheeks Rianti followed his forehead, let out a frenzy. Jamila who looked from behind looked amazed at the affection that the two women in front of her had. He was like being taught a lesson, that everyone can be a family if they can respect each other with religious guidance.

After being satisfied to hug and kiss Rianti, Sulastri's hand moved to Rianti's stomach. His smile grew even more when he felt a tremor from inside Rianti's stomach.

"Come on, come on out, kid. In addition to your mother's freedom, you are the second person most grandmothers are waiting for to be present in the midst of our family" Sulastri said. Rianti and Jamila smiled.

"There's 4 months left, ma'am. Patience, " said Rianti.

"Later if your child is born, ask your husband for permission so that for a month the mother who takes care of you and your baby at home. You have to learn first how to care for the baby" Sulastri said.

"Berez. Later if your brother comes, Rianti immediately ask permission,"

Not now dong. If your child is born,"

"Yes, Mom, kidding."

"Son, mom might not be here long. Soon the Friday prayer time will come. Mr. Mustarah should hurry home. He also awaited your sister and Mr. Bayan to pray together on Friday at the grand mosque" said Sulastri. Rianti nodded his head. His gaze was now turned towards Jamila. A look of sadness began to be seen on Jamila's face. And in the end he will also part with Rianti.

Jamila could not hold back her tears. With his face down, he closed his eyes. His crying sounds. Sulastri who was behind him turned his head. One of Jamila's hands was held by her and brought close to her body. He then rubbed Jamila's back.

Rianti approached slowly while holding his waist with one of his hands. One hand raised Jamila's face slowly and wiped her tears. Jamila is still a little.

"Jamila, every meeting must have a farewell. Of the two, there is nothing we need to regret, for it is a provision from God. If God were to extend our age, and predestine us to meet again, we would surely meet. That's what never made me worry about everything that happened to me. As slaves, we want what if the Creator wants it. We accept that as His provision. We only need to do what he said when we are hit by a disaster, namely prayer and patience," said Rianti sage. Jamila's cheeks were rubbed gently.

"If you already know mother, then you will find me in her," continued Rianti as he glanced towards Sulastri. Sulastri smiled.

"Come, Mom. Get Jamila home soon. When he gets home, tell him to do whatever it takes. His strength is equivalent to male energy," continued Rianti again. This time, Sulastri and Jamila smiled.

Rianti immediately greeted and kissed Sulastri's hand while whispering.

"Make up and Rianti's makeup that mom saved, please give Jamila yes, Mom." Sulastri smiled. Actually he is still heavy, but the owner of the decision really has no burden. Jamila lowered her head when she saw something the two were talking about. He was sure that Rianti's whisper was about him. And he's pretty sure it's definitely about the bright side.

"Don't be curious about what we whispered Jamila. What's clear is that it's something good" Rianti said as he watched Jamila lower her head. He did not want Jamila to be offended. Jamila lifted her face and looked back at Rianti. Rianti's body was again hugged. Not wanting Jamila to cry again, Rianti let go of Jamila's embrace. Jamila and Sulastri's hands were then held by her and escorted her to the car park. Sulastri just smiled shaking his head.

"Be careful the driver is sir," Rianti told Mr. Mustarah who had turned on his car engine. Sulastri and Jamila who were already in the car waved their hands.

The car slowly moved leaving the washroom area. The sorrowful eyes of Jamila did not turn away from looking at Rianti who stood with her beautiful smile towards her. Even when Rianti's body is no longer visible because it has been blocked by the wall of the fence, Rianti is still reluctant to turn his eyes away. He was crying in silence.

Sulastri held Jamila's hand.

"Not to cry anymore. Even if Rianti himself is in prison, God willing he will be fine. The prison officials must be thinking about Rianti's condition, who is pregnant," Sulastri said.

"But who's gonna make him milk and get him food, ma'am. If it's night, Rianti always asks for a massage. I feel sorry to imagine him alone,"

"Well, that's a risk in prison. We pray that Rianti can take care of herself and her baby" Sulastri said.

After several hours of travel, the car they boarded finally reached home. Just as the sound of tarhim ahead of Friday prayers was heard. Fahmi and Pak Bayan were seen sitting in their Friday outfits at the guard post. Mr. Mustarah immediately turned his car around after Sulastri and Jamila got out of the car. Not want to linger, Mr. Mustarah invites Fahmi and Pak bayan in the car. After the gate was closed, the car drove back from the house.

The streets look deserted. The sound of the Adhan marking the start of Friday prayers began to reverberate.
