...------...
Aher's extended family and Aziz's extended family were sitting quietly in the living room in Aher's house. They don't know what to do. Moreover, Aher, the middle-aged man seemed frustrated with the attitude of his eldest daughter, Sabila Putri Ahmadenar. Sabila left the house and left only a letter for her family. Can be said his marriage with Fattan Furqan Zakri just count the days.
"Assalamualaikum" Sakia said a greeting as she entered the house. The Muslim woman had just returned from Sakia Fashion Boutique.
"Waalaikumsalam" replied everyone in the family room.
Sakia approached her family and kissed her Mom and Dad. Then take a place next to his mother. "Why the atmosphere is like gripping. Did something happen before I came" inner Sakia.
"Mom, Papa, everybody, Kia go to the room first" said Sakia smiling awkwardly. The woman would not sit among the adults who now speak a thousand languages.
"Sakia, wait a minute" said Aher stopping his daughter's steps.
Sakia stopped her steps. Looking back at his family. "What's this?" inner Sakia wondered.
"Sit down first. There's something we want to talk to you about" Papa Aher said.
Aher took a deep breath. The middle-aged man looked at his daughter. "Sakia, do you love all of us?" aher looked at his daughter.
Sakia frowned when she heard the silly question coming out of her Papa's mouth. It is true that Papa Aher doubted Sakia's affection for them.
"Of course, Papa. Why did Papa ask that. Kia think without Kia answer you know the answer" explained Sakia.
"If you really love us then do one thing that will make Papa believe if you really love us" Papa Aher said seriously.
Mahdania's eyes began to glaze over. The middle-aged woman knew her husband's request would hurt her daughter's feelings. Mahdania knows what Sakia has been through. Aher knew that, but the man stayed on his feet.
"By" Mahdania shook her head, asking her husband not to do it.
Aher doesn't care about his wife. The middle-aged man was still staring at his daughter. "Replace your brother as Kak Fattan's future wife" Papa Aher said.
The deg!! Sakia was surprised to make him stand up. Should he be happy because he can marry the man he once had in his heart or sad because again his father does not think about his feelings.
"Why do I always have to give up" said Sakia.
"Why should Kia, Papa? Is Kia not Mama and Papa's son? Why is Kia's feeling so hard for you to understand?" sakia asked in a row with her eyes that began to glaze over.
Sakia Putri's question made everything freeze still. Especially Mahdania. The middle-aged woman knew that her daughter had loved Fattan very much since Sakia was still Junior High. Sakia learns to cook because of her obsession with making Fattan happy. Where, one day, he'll cook for Fattan. And he also studied hard to be able to study medicine with the same Fattan. But that ideal disappeared in an instant when Papa Aher did not think about the feelings of his daughter, Sakia.
"Why aren't you looking for Sabila? Are you not ashamed to accept what this family has to say. Didn't Brother ever say that I'm the little sister who will never be able to be Kak Fattan's wife!!" sakia's sigh held the clear circle that had been piling up. The woman took out her uncles which she had been self-serving all along.
"Sakia!!" snapped Papa Aher.
"Aher, don't force it, son. Don't hurt his heart" said Grandma Eka.
"The marriage must continue. Sakia should replace Sabila" Papa Aher said still with her stance.
Sakia was shedding tears that had piled up earlier. "Why should Kia, Papa? Didn't Papa know Alif would come to propose to Kia" Fadila said as he pleased
"The ones here are Alif's extended family. If they agree you're married to Fattan then that's a sign that Alif also agreed to this decision" Aher exclaimed.
Sakia took a step back. Rejecting the reality he had just heard. Again the big family man Zakri toyed with Sakia's feelings. No Fattan, not Alif. The two men were the same as Papa Aher who cared more about Sabila than he did.
