...Mystery In The House of Eyang Jiwatrisna - Part 2...
I woke up from my sleep in a daze and gamelan, after finding all the portrait photos containing creepy people had turned into window rooms overlooking the forest. Then, I rushed to find Eyang Jiwatrisna and met her in the backyard of the house. There she was gazing at her daughter's grave, decorated with roses and some carnivorous plants, giving a poetic message of sorrow.
Then I told him about it. But Eyang Jiwatrisna just looked at me while laughing amusedly and said that she did not have such a portrait photo in her house. Then, he also added, that - maybe - I was exhausted so hallucinating badly; plus the location of the house Eyang Jiwatrisna who was in the forest and seemed scary at night. After hearing that explanation, my mind was slightly satisfied; but not with my small heart still worried, thus creating a tiring inner struggle.
Until night came again; as I was about to fall asleep; I found a strange thing from the window of my room. Like someone moving; watching; intimidating me from outside the window and hiding behind the darkness. However, I took it as a biological reaction to my body, as I was alone in a dim room surrounded by windows overlooking the dark forest. It is from that biological reaction that creates fear and anxiety, every time I stare at the window of the room. As a result, I tried to ignore it and planned to close all the windows of the cursed room so as not to continue to disturb my sleep. But unfortunately, Eyang Jiwatrisna did not have curtain cloth or window coverings, so it left it wide open. It seems I have to figure out a way to cover all those windows with something else!
In the midst of the controversy of reason and the attempt to fall asleep; at once I found - vaguely - a shadow standing outside the window of the room and watching me from the darkness. I was not sure what I saw; the shadow was not alone, but numerous and filled every window of the room. At first I thought I was hallucinating. But after I looked carefully, I felt that it was very real. Besides, I also feel familiar with the shadow. Until I finally realized what made me shudder.
These are the people in the portrait I saw last night. However, this time they stood closer to the window of the room, so that I could see their appearance more clearly than before. They looked like broken corpses and were still wrapped in shrouds - like pocongs - in a messy state, as well as covered in dirt and dried blood. His pale eyes threw a horror look, while a disturbing cursed grin.
I could only return their gazes with horror that was hard to explain in words. My body froze and my retina burned. I did not know how long I had been staring at them, so my gaze began to be sucked into the trough of darkness and disappeared into the cold silence.
The next day, I woke up in a state of hearing. Then I forced my limp body to check the window of the room, because I felt something was not right. I felt sure that they were too real to be called hallucinations. But I still doubt my own eyes.
After I looked out the window, I found a balcony about two meters wide. Then I forcefully opened the window of the room, and found a lot of red footprints - a mixture of soil and blood - that littered the entire floor of the balcony in front of my window. From there I realized the terrible thing hidden in the house of Eyang Jiwatrisna; that all this time I had seen was real!
Then I find out the direction of the coming and going of the trail. However, the trail was numerous and had diverse shapes; some were ordinary walking; some were walking by dragging their feet; some were jumping; and then blending into one, and others were walking by dragging their feet, it forms a confusing puzzle. But that was enough to give me the creeps.
After I looked at all the footprints, I managed to find a clue that dragged me downstairs and out of the house to look at the balcony of my room from the front. It was there that I began to find madness; where all the tracks came and went from my balcony by climbing the walls of the house, using the help of vines. Although the trail was successfully camouflaged by the murky color of the walls and the dense vines, I can still find it with extra precision.
However, all those traces disappeared upon touching the ground. Either it was because of a trace color similar to that of the soil - so it blends into one - or there might be someone who intentionally removed it. But, somehow, I felt sure that someone had intentionally erased those traces. Someone who knew about this incident, but he chose to shut up! Who else if not Eyang Jiwatrisna? I am starting to get suspicious of him!
When night came again; I decided to return to the room early and gave an excuse to Eyang Jiwatrisna that I was not feeling well. Upon arrival in the room, I kill time by hiding behind a blanket, while putting my eyes in the window. I wanted to ascertain their direction of coming and going, and hoped - if I had more courage - to follow and find their hiding place. It's an old-fashioned and cliche idea, but it's the only one that comes to mind.
The hour to hour had passed; without me realizing that time was approaching midnight, I still had not found any sign of their presence. Now both my eyes began to swell and drowsiness began to tease me. Until I finally fell asleep for some time; then woke up again after hearing the noise of a car driving towards the house. I rushed out of the bed and approached the window. From there I found a pair of car lights coming out of the dark forest; slowly approaching the house. I vaguely found that it was a 1992 Suzuki Carry Pick-Up, black car filled with mud stains on his body.
The car continued to drive up to the back yard of the house and stopped there. Although my visibility was limited and faint, I could still see it from the right shoulder of the window. I found Eyang Jiwatrisna coming out of the car; then he pulled out a corpse that was still wrapped in a shroud and covered with dirt from the car.
I can't believe what I saw! Am I dreaming or am I crazy? Then, I immediately took my phone and immortalized the scene, to prove that it was not a dream. I took as many pictures as I could; from the scene of Eyang Jiwatrisna carrying a corpse, to heading to a place located in the backyard of the house. I do not know for sure; for it is beyond my sight and blocked by the walls of the house. Walakin, that incident was enough to make me put my suspicions and fear to him.
While I was busy taking pictures; I heard footsteps from outside the left shoulder of the window. At that time, I felt like someone was watching my movements. Then I turned to the left shoulder of the window; but all I saw was the darkness of the night that blurred my eyes. Walakin, I could still feel the presence of something unknown to me; hiding behind the darkness; beyond the reach of the dim light of my room.
Then I directly pointed my phone in front of me and activated the flash. Kalakian I immediately pressed the photo button, so that - simultaneously - the flash light came out shining on the object in front of me and caught a man with a very damaged face, thus creating a frightening flaw. His body was still wrapped in a shroud, with a messy condition and full of bad damage. He looked at me with a cursed dursila look; then sped towards me and broke through the window of the room. As a result, the window broke and shattered. My body slammed onto the floor and stared at the figure who was stepping towards me coldly and quickly; then choking my neck with his right hand; lifting my body into the air; and; torturing myself who could only thrash around while throwing a resistance was meaningless. Arkian, with his inhuman strength, he threw me towards the wall and obliterated my consciousness.
The next morning, after I managed to return to my consciousness, I found Eyang Jiwatrisna who was treating the wounds all over my body. Then I immediately jumped in panic at him and threw a trembling question at him.
"Men? Who?" ask Eyang Jiwatrisna.
"That's..he's the creepy one.." I said.
"That sees no one in this house."
"But Eyang. he attacked me yesterday..."
"Yesterday night you sleep walking and falling on the stairs." said Eyang Jiwatrisna coldly, "So your body has a lot of bruises. It was fortunate that Eyang knew of the incident, so Eyang immediately brought you back into the room."
I don't believe in the answer. I felt that Eyang Jiwatrisna was making up a silly story to cover up the real events.
"No way! I.. I see for myself. with my eyes!" I said a bit of emotion and panicked, "Even he broke the window!"
"Breaked windows? Which one?" ask Eyang Jiwatrisna.
"That window.." I interrupted when I found all the windows of the room were fine, "No! This must be something wrong! I even managed to capture it!"
Then I immediately searched my phone, and found it on a decorative table in a state of disrepair - like being slammed and trampled roughly - so it did not work.
"What happened to my phone?" my many.
"Your phone fell out of bed. Then stepped on by your feet, until it breaks." reply Eyang Jiwatrisna.
"No! It can't be this bad!" yelled at him.
Walakin, Eyang Jiwatrisna only smiled slightly and slightly held back his sneaky laughter. Seeing the reaction, I became furious and started throwing frontal questions around what I saw last night to him. At first he could still answer coldly and casually. But, after I brought up my view that the one who caught him was carrying a corpse from his old pick-up car, he became enraged. Then he slapped me in the face while bluffing;
"Fuck shit!" he said while looking at me sharply, "How dare you accuse me! Who do you think you are? If you put your suspicion on me, please leave this house!"
Arkian, Eyang Jiwatrisna directly came out of the room and slammed the door. It was from that moment that I became even more convinced that he was hiding something terrible.
