CHAPTER 40.

*** My Wife High School Boy ***

Satya sits limp on the front bench of the ER room, accompanied by Mama Stella and Papa Setiawan.

After making a very difficult decision in his life, Satya feels his world is destroyed. He had just felt happy because he was going to be a father, but that happiness did not last long because today he officially lost his two children.

Satya knows that he is the worst father in history, but he also cannot lose his wife.

I don't know what he will say to Risa later, Satya doesn't know.

It has been almost an hour since he signed the child or wife's help letter, no sign yet that the UGG door will open.

It's only been an hour, but Satya feels it's been a long time waiting for the second of the birth of her child and also lost her child.

Satya also ceaselessly prayed to the almighty for the safety of his wife and child. Although doctors say they can only save one of them, Satya still hopes that at least one of his children will survive.

When the door of the ER room was finally opened, Satya had no energy to rise, she could not accept all the bad possibilities she would accept. So Mama Stella was the one who approached the doctor.

"How are my son-in-law and grandson doctors?" ask Mama Stella.

The doctor breathed. "I've said in the beginning, if I can't save all three."

Satya clenched her ears because she did not want to hear the news of losing her two children.

"I'm sorry that one of your grandchildren we couldn't save" the doctor said.

"I mean the doctor, my grandson..." Mama Stella did not continue her words.

The doctor nodded slowly. "Yes, one of your grandchildren survived."

"really?" ask Mama Stella enthusiastically.

"But because he is weak, he must be treated in the incubator first" said the doctor.

"Then what about my wife's doctor?" satya asked, courageously asking.

"Alhamdulilah, your wife survived. But his condition is still critical because of the loss of a lot of blood. We also need additional blood because the blood stock in this hospital is still lacking" explained the doctor.

Satya is grateful that her prayer was fulfilled, one of her children survived. Although Risa is still critical, at least there is still hope.

"I will donate blood to Risa doctor" said Papa Setiawan.

Papa Setiawan also donated his blood to Risa and Risa was moved to another room to get treatment, while her son was immediately transferred to the same room as Risa, in the incubator tube.

Satya could only stare at them from outside the room, her heart jumbled seeing the two of them helplessly weak.

Satya had already contacted Risa's family and told her the outline of the incident. They will arrive tomorrow because it is too late.

In the morning, Satya went home with Papa Setiawan and Mama Stella to bury one of her male children.

There was no crying during the burial of his son, it felt like Satya's tears had dried up last night. But it made him even more sick, tight in his chest like a hammer was hitting as hard as it was.

After the funeral of his son named Ridwan Setiawan, Satya went home with his family and cleaned themselves, then they returned to the hospital to see Risa's condition.

Of course they are sad, anyone would be sad if his family members go to the hospital, right?

Mama and Papa Risa decided to leave because Risa's mother kept fainting to see her daughter and granddaughter lying weak in the hospital bed.

"Satya, Papa and Mama go home first yes." said his father Risa.

"Yes Pa, it's okay... Mama also seems to need a break" said Satya. She saw her mother-in-law who had been limp in her father-in-law's arms.

Mama Stella and Papa Setiawan sat side by side, Rio and Revano were sitting side by side with their heads lowered.

While Satya and Aunt Melda stood in front of Risa's room, looking at Risa and her weakly lying child without speaking anything.

In front of the room, even though there were six people, but none of them opened their voices. They are busy with their own minds. But actually without anyone knowing, Papa Setiawan occasionally pay attention to Aunt Melda.

"Tante if tired of standing should just sit down" said Satya.

Aunt Melda looked at Satya at a glance and then looked back at Risa. "I'm not tired."

"Tante has been standing since, you better sit down first. It's not good to keep standing." said Satya.

"You've been standing up since, why don't you sit down?" ask aunt Melda.

"What Satya said was true Melda, you can sit next to Stella" said Papa Setiawan.

"Yes, sit down first. We know you're worried about Risa, but you're not alone because we're also worried about Risa" Mama Stella smiled and patted the bench next to her.

Aunt Melda did not flinch, she still silently looked at Risa.

"Tante, what they say is true. Aunty must rest first, later if Risa is aware of aunt so there is energy to help Risa" said Revano.

Aunt Melda sits next to Mama Stella.

And they went back to silence, until the night to say hello. Rio and Revano return home. So did Mama Stella and Papa Setiawan who also came home. Only Aunt Melda and Satya are still waiting for Risa.

"What happened to Risa?" ask Aunt Melda. Now Satya is sitting on the front bench of Aunt Melda.

"I don't know how it happened, but Mama said Risa fell in the bathroom and was bleeding" Satya said.

Aunt Melda sighed... "Indeed very vulnerable for pregnant women twins, let alone this is Risa's first child" said Aunt Melda.

"Sorry because I can't take good care of Risa Auntie" said Satya, however Aunt Melda is Risa's biological mother.

"Why apologize, this is not just your fault" said Aunt Melda.

"But if I don't leave Risa alone, then none of this will happen" Satya said.

"There is or is not you, if this is already the will of the Almighty, it will still happen" said Aunt Melda.
