My Sweet Green's

My Sweet Green's
It's Not Important, But It Sick

I don't know what Meira's thinking right now, which obviously he doesn't like the woman standing in the storefront. He hated seeing the scene behind the cash register fifteen minutes ago. He was still chewing his food and staring at Rizal's sharp face. Piqued. Strange indeed, why did his feelings have to be like this? Once again, he was nothing to Rizal, but just an ordinary friend.

"Hey, May!" exclaiming the two people from a position a little far away from them, surprising as well as making Meira nervous and trembling. Maybe he met Dwi and Dea while he was with Rizal. Meira could already guess what was in the minds of her two best friends. Put where his face is now.

"Our message to lunch was unwilling," Dwi folded her hands with a meaningful look.

Rizal only smiled faintly at Meira's two friends. He lowered his head to greet the two and returned to his eating activities. An uneasy feeling began to approach him at this moment.

"The taste is eating on the side of the road the same as the storm" he added.

"What the hell are you guys" said Meira a little nervously.

"I don't think I'm the same, Mei." Dea put on a look of astonishment. She felt that this beautiful woman was not her best friend. She's not the Meira Dea's known all along.

"Rizal is not my crush," Meira denied Dwi's remarks just now.

"Gue just wants to repay his kindness. Throw away your weird thoughts, there's no way!" emphatically.

Rizal stood up to the three of them. Her heart felt as if it was sliced slowly by Meira's testimony. So low he was in the eyes of Meira that he looked very embarrassed when caught by his friends.

"You don't get me wrong, I'm not who Meira is. I'm just a store clerk and a motorcycle taxi driver, so I don't deserve to be close to people like Ms. Meira at all" he said, trying to smile kindly even though his heart was very disappointed by Meira's statement.

"Oh, yeah. Thank you, Ma'am for returning the bud. I think it's enough, next time don't feel bad. I sincerely helped Mbak." he smiled then left Meira who was just silent.

What the hell, anyway,

Maud...

Meira clucked annoyed at Rizal's words. Rizal immediately became a stranger after he declared the statement he had just made to his two friends.

Meira is well aware of how Rizal is feeling right now. He must have been very sad to hear that hurtful speech. Somehow Meira can say that without thinking about Rizal's feelings. He is still concerned about his prestige, he is afraid that Dwi and Dea will know his feelings for Rizal.

Not to mention if this news will spread throughout the campus, he will definitely be embarrassed. That's what he's thinking now.

"What you're saying is true, right?" press Dea again.

"Yes, yeah, I did!" asserted Meira once again.

Dwi just kept silent while looking at the look on Meira's face that seemed unsure of his own words.

"Let's go." take her.

***

Rizal sighed, the pain towards Meira's words earlier this afternoon was still very much felt. From the beginning of meeting Meira, he had felt unworthy to be close to the upper class woman. But he also could not bear to hear the story of Meira's life is not at all sad from him.

Forget everything...

"The diligent child has come." that's the nickname given Adi and Wawan to Rizal.

"Why is your face so wry, Zal?" tanya Adi patted Rizal's shoulder.

Rizal just shook his head while smiling thinly.

"Chick thing?" ask Adi.

"No, Mom." looks good.

The three of them spoke lightly while waiting for the order to enter. Adi told me about his income today which is quite a lot, as well as with Wawan. Today Wawan got good news from the wife who was pregnant with their first child for four years waiting.

"I was so happy to jump around" he said while laughing funny to imagine his expression this morning when the wife gave a check letter from the puskesmas doctor.

"Congratulations, yes, Mas." Rizal stuck out his hand at Wawan.

"If you're why, Zal?" ask Wawan again.

"If there's any story with us, Zal. We're like brothers, you're our sister." Wawan patted Rizal on the shoulder.

"Thank you, Mom. You guys are good with me. But I'm really okay, really" he said smiling convincingly.

Rizal checked his phone. There was an order entered, he then said goodbye to the two men in the same jacket with him. This time he got an order of five packs of fried rice and five caramelized coffees.

Twenty minutes later, the order was finally delivered. The plan is to go home considering it's night. As he props up his motorbike, his phone suddenly vibrates. It says Meira's name, unaware that she's called him three times.

Rizal ignored him, he returned to his motorbike. He does not want to be confused by this woman anymore. He no longer wanted to hear Meira's voice. Arriving at home, as usual he was welcomed by his mother and dear brother. But today Tika wasn't so excited. For some reason, he looked back in his room all day. Rizal only sighed holding the clear hairs that urged to come out of his eyelids. I don't know when Tika will be like this.

"We have to be patient, son." Risma gently stroked Rizal's exhausted-looking face.

Rizal nodded while smiling at the mother. He entered the room and broke down his body which felt very tired. He stared at the ceiling of his room, his mind split between the two women. Tika who never recovered and her heartache to the words of Meira when eating at pecel lele stall last afternoon. But between those two thoughts, it was more important to attach importance to the health of Tika the older sister.

Her phone rings again, Meira again. There have been ten times more girls that call Rizal, but Rizal is still reluctant to respond.

Are you angry with me?

I'm sorry, Nu. I'm mistaken.

Rizal closes his phone, with no intention of replying to Meira's message. He pulled out his blanket and tried to expel those not-so-important but piercing thoughts in his heart.

Meira did not close her eyes. He continued to monitor the flat object, hoping for a reply from Rizal. Sometimes he tried to call back, but the result was the same. There's no answer.

He was aware of his words earlier this afternoon which made Rizal become angry like this. He must have hurt Rizal after what the sweet man did to him. Rizal had already paid attention to him when he needed to. But he retaliated with hurtful remarks just for the sake of prestige.
