My sister the Woman I Love

My sister the Woman I Love
Episodes 18. Amnesia and motor nerve paralysis

I tried to just move my hand but it felt so heavy and painful. The faint appearance of blood stains on the clothes I was wearing, yes my gaze began to blur on something around me, I could not see clearly at that time.

"Please.please." my voice softly asks for help from anyone close to me.

"Please..please...help me!" my voice kept asking for help, hoping someone could hear me and help me immediately.

The longer I wished for help to come, the more the drops of blood passed through my forehead and fell right on my face.

"I can no longer endure" I said in a weakened voice and increasingly dim view.

My chest felt tight and it was getting harder to breathe. I don't know how long after I fainted because of the incident, there was a conversation conducted by two people.

"I don't know his identity, doctor! I only found this child at the bottom of the ravine when I was about to go home" the person told the doctor in conversation.

"Alright sir, then later I will ask the authorities for information back on his identity" said the doctor to the person.

"Sir doctor, if I may know, is there a serious problem with this child's condition?" ask the doctor.

"He's having Retrograde amnesia sir, he won't remember his past because of a brain injury he suffered after the accident" the doctor told the interlocutor.

"Is that not curable Doc?" ask the man back.

"It is possible, but with intensive therapy, but I need to inform the family first" explained the doctor to the person.

"Hopefully the police found his identity card, doc, in order to immediately tell his family" the person told the doctor.

Hearing the conversation between the two of them, it felt like I wanted to wake up and ask what happened.

All of a sudden, though,

"Dok... doc... look at this patient is conscious, I see his hands have been moving," said the voice to the doctor.

"Okay, I check first sir," the doctor told the person.

With a slightly dim view I saw the situation around me, there was a doctor and an old man standing beside him.

"I'm at the doc's hospital! what's going on with me?" I wonder at the doctor.

"You calm down first, there is no need to force to get up or sit down" said the doctor to me who was trying to get up and get out of my sleep.

When I got up, my feet were hard to move. I kept trying to move it back, but it still didn't work.

"Dok, what's this about my leg? why can't it be moved?" ask me in wonder.

"I'll check for a minute" said the doctor, hitting my legs in turn.

"Is it painful?" ask the doctor.

Hearing that question, I just shook my head in response. The doctor who saw my response to his question suddenly sighed and said something to me.

"There was motor nerve damage in both of your legs as a result of the accident" the doctor told me with his mother's gaze.

"I'm paralyzed doc? then for the rest of my life, will I always sit in a wheelchair?" askaku returned

"Hopefully, the healing and recovery that was done can repair the motor nerve damage," added the doctor while rubbing and patting my arm.

"Didn't you remember anything about your family and the people closest to you?" ask the doctor in curiosity.

"Either doc, I really don't know and remember" I said, trying to remember the day before it happened.

"You don't have to force to remember it, right now you need more rest to recover the body after the accident," said the doctor to me.

Every now and then the old man beside the doctor looked at me, I was curious about the old man. Who and what it has to do with me.

"Who is this father, what is his relationship with me?" ask him in the hope that I get a clue as to who I really am.

"The father is the one who took you to this hospital, you found him in the car after the accident happened" the father explained to me.

"So apparently, do you really not know me? I was confused as to where to find out about my origins," I said with a puzzled face.

"The father also wants to help, but what can you do to help you son?" said the father with the look of his mother saw me.

"Now we leave everything to the police, hopefully they can find an identity to help you find your family soon" the doctor told me.

"Excuse me first" said the doctor to me and the father in the room.

The doctor left me with an old man whose clothes looked shabby.

"Father why would you help me and not allow me to die, free I live with legs like this," I said softly accompanied by a desperate cry.

"Father accidentally found you when he was about to go home, at first he hesitated to help for reasons of the cost of care and treatment while you were in the hospital that may not be a little, he said, but I remember the incident where my son and wife died in an accident 2 years ago" the father told me about his past events that claimed the lives of his son and wife.

"Then how should I pay for this hospital fee sir? I myself have no money at all to use to pay for this treatment," I said confusedly.

"You take it easy, I have a little savings that you keep at home, the plan is that you will use the money to go to the holy land" said the father calmed me.

"Father will go home first, to take the money and come back here soon" he told me and rushed out of the room where I was being treated.

Some x sisters went into my ward to see my condition and replaced the infusion fluid that was almost exhausted. My gaze was fixed on the door waiting for the old man to return, I was very dependent and wished on him because I had no one at this time to ask for help.

After dusk greeted, finally someone I was waiting for came.

"Mom why so long?" ask the old man.

"The father had no vehicle so he had to walk 4 km to get home" explained the father to me with his face looking very tired.

"Then you walked home and left? why don't you take the public transport?" many wonder.

"Father is used to living hard so this is not a problem for you, besides you think you will need this money more, so as much as possible you can save it," said the father who made my heart tremble hearing the kindness and sincerity of his heart.

"I will remember your kindness, may I recall my past and repay you for your kindness" I said with tears in my eyes.

"There is no need to think about retaliating, the most important thing is that you recover and get out of the hospital" the old man told me.

I nodded my head and smiled at him. Looking at the wrinkles on his face and the gray hair that filled all his hair, it felt like I could not bear to accept his help but whatever the power, at this time I could not do anything.
