Because the disturbing feeling that Evelyn felt made Evelyn really afraid that her suspicions that were in her mind were true, she was curious to the point of not being able to sleep.

After the incident evelyn seemed to disappear from circulation, not only Evelyn but Kai as well. Daniel had been looking for places he might go but no one knew where Evelyn was. Even Daniel pretended to Indonesia to try to find Evelyn's whereabouts but apparently Evelyn was not in Indonesia.
It's been more than 10 days Evelyn's gone, every day Daniel tries to find her whereabouts, even all of Daniel's men do not know her whereabouts.
Days change, months change now a year after the departure of Evelyn and Kai makes Daniel really sorry for what he did.
