Because after his meeting with Haruto's family, the, daniel and evelyn decide to temporarily live in seoul initially the daniel family does not approve of it but when they find out that daniel has signed a contract for a drama that will air eventually they approve of her and her mother Daniel relented so she was the one who stayed with them in Seoul.
Since that meeting evelyn and haruka became friends from there also haruka recounted past events that allowed her to marry haruto.
