Mark sat leaning near all his paintings that had become ashes leaning against the wall. She recalled Fiona's words this morning when she drove the girl to Stark Model.
“Fiona said she saw Elvis staring strangely at my gallery and what time was it, and then she said I should watch out for him. Is that true ?” his murmurs try to connect Elvis with Fiona's words.
“But if Elvis had meant badly to me he wouldn't have told me there had been a fire, wouldn't he?” he murmured again because the first person at once who helped a lot during the incident was Elvis.
Mark mused and thought there was no way an Elvis who was very much in his confidence was also kind to him who burned this gallery.
“It's impossible. Elvis is not like that.” his rebuttal again with confidence.
Mark was sad to see his gallery that had been burned and needed renovation, moreover, none of his paintings survived the fire. Because he did not want to dissolve in his sadness if he continued to be there, he decided to go home while waiting for the time to pick Fiona home.
News about the events of the Mark gallery fire was quickly circulated there were even several reporters covering the incident and this time the news aired on all television stations.
“Gosh... isn't Mr Mark the owner of Fiona ?” muttered Pearl was surprised when she accidentally saw the news broadcast this time and was very regretful about it.
He then went back into the dressroom to change the clothes of the wax statues that were there because soon there will be reporters who come to cover the special design Stark Model themed Winter.
“Fiona I also feel sad about the fire that hit your gallery owner, Mr. Mark.” said Pearl while changing the current Fiona shirt with a thick coat of design.
Fiona seemed surprised to hear the story from her designer. “Master what exactly did Miss Pearl say ? I hope it is not true.” his inner heart also feels sad if it happens because he knows today his God is bringing a lot of his paintings to the gallery.
In the afternoon Mark picked up Fiona after several reporters came to his house and conducted interviews related to the fire that occurred in his gallery to clarify it.
“Excuse me miss, I'd like to take Fiona.” Mark said upon arrival at Stark Model on one of the staff there.
“Good, thank you.” Mark immediately headed to the room appointed by the staff and immediately brought Fiona who was still wearing a thick blue coat that made her look beautiful.
“Master, I heard a rumor about your gallery fire is that true ?” fiona asked after the car drove on the road.
Mark though trying to hide his sadness but the rest of his sadness is still visible on the look of his face.
“Yes, it's not just a rumor. My gallery is on fire and all my paintings have nothing left.” explained Mark trying hard in front of Fiona. Not because of the amount of material that he had to bear because of the loss of the fire, but did not want to look weak in front of Fiona.
“Master what about his investigation whether it was purely a fire due to a short circuit or something else or maybe someone deliberately burned it ?” ask Fiona to ask a question.
“There has been no result of any related investigation from the police and I am still waiting for him.”
“Master I'm sure maybe it wasn't an accident but there was someone who deliberately set your gallery on fire. Maybe it was Elvis.” Fiona said again.
Mark had expected what the girl would say to him who always suspected his friend and he chose not to respond.
Upon their arrival at home, Mark suddenly gets a phone call that turns out to be from the police station.
“Master Mark we have found the cause of the fire in your gallery. There is someone who deliberately set fire to your gallery.” said a police officer on the phone but they could not confirm who exactly did it.
Mark was silent in disbelief after the phone call was cut off and he looked at Fiona blankly.
“Master what's up?”
