Chapter 61. Valenesh's Sacrifice

"What's this?" Valenesh immediately ran to welcome the arrival of the vampire warlord who walked towards him by holding someone's body. Valenesh's feeling wasn't good.

"You're here?" zorro asked when he saw Valenesh still in the palace.

"Yes, Zorro. The three of us were here" Valenesh replied with nods from Kekey and Ansel.

"It turns out they tricked us into saying you were kidnapped."

"And because of that information, our king became so unfocused that the Lord's sword hit King Henritz's chest" he said, putting Henritz on the bed and telling someone to call the physician.

"How is it possible, isn't my husband already wearing armor?" valenesh asked while sitting on the edge of the bed. Valenesh stared fixedly at weakly lying Henritz, with teary eyes.

"The sword that the God-Monarch was holding was extremely fierce and dangerous. The sword can penetrate anything, not least iron or steel."

Hearing the commander's words, Valenesh's tears became unbearable. He immediately cried as he pleased.

Not waiting for long, the healer came with his potion. After being invited to enter the healer went straight in and examined Henritz's wounds.

"Well if that's what you want, I'll take Zorro."

Valenesh nodded and returned to Henritz's side, while Kekey whispered in Zorro's ear.

"Alright come!" invite Zorro, Kekey is the one who nodded.

Zorro said goodbye to everything, before bringing Kekey into the human world.

"Where are they?" murmured Valenesh was so agitated waiting for the arrival in Zorro and Kekey that so long ago.

"How's empress? I hope the pure blood is already there before the morning starts, because otherwise the wounds of the king will get worse and it will complicate the healing."

"So sir, Prince Zorro and his wife are working on that pure blood and they are currently descending into the human world."

"I hope they won't be long."

Valenesh nodded then looked towards Ansel who also looked worried.

A few hours passed and Valenesh could not wait for Zorro and Kekey to arrive again, as Henritz's body grew cold.

"Ansel help me!" pinta Valenesh and Ansel looked confused.

"Follow me!" valenesh orders a servant to bring him a knife and a container.

"What am I going to do with these two tools Val?"

"Tighten my hand and let this blood drip into the container!"

Ansel was caught up in getting such orders from Valenesh.

"No Vale, I don't have the heart" Ansel said.

"Ansel, you are the owner of the largest hospital and both of your parents are also doctors. How can you say you can't just be given an order like this?"

"But Val, you're pregnant and this knife is gonna hurt you, why not just wait for Kekey? Using a syringe is more friendly than using this knife."

"Ah, they're too soft. I don't want to lose my heart because of their delay."

Ansel was silent.

"Do Ansel! This is my order as empress in this kingdom, and you are now on your feet in this land, right?!" Valenesh.

"Ba–ik" said Ansel then grabbed Valenesh's hand. Valenesh closed his eyes as Ansel carefully scratched his wrist, even Ansel's hands seemed to tremble.

"Aragh!" Valenesh groaning.

"May you be all right" said Ansel with lips and a trembling voice holding back bitterly.

"It's like I'm helping people commit suicide" Ansel wrote.

"Don't say that. I'm it's okay. Now that you've brought this blood to the healer, I'd like to lay it down for a while."

Ansel nodded, tore off his own clothes, and then put them in Valenesh's hands.

"I left for a while" he said, and brought the container of blood to the healer who had finished concocting the potion.

After that Ansel returned to Valenesh's room and saw the woman lying limply with a paled face.

"This is the definition of treating one person, but sacrificing another." Ansel looked at Valenesh with pity. She did not expect her little friend to enter into this dangerous world and instead get caught up in it. He even sincerely loved Henritz even though they came from different worlds.

"Ansel!" Suddenly Zorro patted Ansel on the back. Behind him stood Kekey who was holding medical devices.

"Where have you been, why so long? because you guys Valenesh can be like this!"

"Shhh! Already Ansel, let me handle Valenesh." Kekey went into Valenesh's room and gave the woman a blood donation from the blood bag she was holding. After that Kekey helped clean Valenesh's wounds and replaced the cloth that was burdened by Ansel earlier with a bandage.

"Well you're a pinter as well as an impromptu nurse," Zorro teased when he saw Valenesh as if he was hospitalized.

"The circumstances that force me like this, dear," said Kekey then scooped up a lot of air before finally exhaling slowly.

"How's King Henritz doing?"

"Said the commander has started to mengingan, the temperature of his body that had frozen is now warm again."

"Thank God, there are so many trials in their lives. May they both be given strength and fortitude to face it all, but it looks like their ordeal is about to end seeing Lord is already dying" Kekey said.

"He's dying?" ansel asked in shock.

"Yes, I was long in the human realm because it was blocked by an army of hairy humans. They were angry that their king was made dying by this vampire army, and they knew Zorro was one of the princes in this kingdom."

Ansel nodded.

"But the Lord or Lord king will not die, his destiny will only die at the hands of Valenesh's son and king Henritz. Before the child is born, we still have to be careful because he can attack at any time" Ansel warned.
