MY LOVER'S A HANDSOME VAMPIRE
Chapter 58. The Darkest Sunscreen

"There's nothing to cover up about Vale anymore, let's just have to know the truth, even though in the end, you're gonna hate me."

Valenesh was silent, not understanding what Henritz meant.

"Of course we meet Ansel right now. I don't know why I'm sure he knows the truth."

Valenesh nodded and finally received Henritz's hand grip despite his slightly trembling hands. She felt guilty if she still loved Henritz, but it was inevitable that she still could not let go of the love for the man who became her husband.

"Hopefully Ansel really knows everything" inner Henritz. Somehow he wasn't sure that the arrow he had released back then just veered off course.

The two of them, followed by several guards, descended to the dungeon and met Ansel, who was already asleep on the prison floor.

"Mr Ansel! Lord Ansel!" A guarding the prison called out Ansel's name while tapping the iron bars, causing a very noisy sound.

Ansel who heard the sound jumped in shock and immediately woke up and slept.

"What's the matter Lord, isn't there enough punishment you've given me yet? Remember whatever happens, I'll never be what you want."

"He really is Ansel?" Just hearing his voice Valenesh immediately reflected on the past, the times when they were both small, where the two were still very familiar. But that changed when Tommy died. Valenesh and Ansel are like humans who don't know each other.

"Lighting!" henritz exclaimed, Asking the guards to light the prison again. A second later in the place it looked bright.

Valenesh was shocked to see inside the prison, sitting a man with a face exactly like Ansel, but with a thin body and hair that looks disheveled. A man who's completely unkempt.

"Are you really Ansel?" repeat as you approach the prison side.

"Are you Valenesh uncle Tommy's daughter?" asked Ansel with glazed eyes.

"Yes." Yeah." Valenesh answered while looking at Ansel's pity. From the look of his eyes, Ansel was in great pain.

"Where have you been?" There is no longer any suspicion that Ansel who is now in front of him is Ansel who has always wanted to harm himself and Hendritz.

"I am far from my people. Someone took me to a faraway place and held me there. I don't know, is this the country I've been in for almost 20 years, or is it a different country?"

"Hen?" Valenesh asked Henritz for an opinion, the anger at the husband disappeared instantly.

"Where are you being held?" asked Henritz to see if Ansel had been in a vampire land, or in another.

"In a prison where a lot of lead is hot and boiling. They sometimes drip a speck on my body. Even a drop, it feels excruciating. The people who met me were in a hairy state. They laughed and mocked me by dripping hot lead on their own bodies, but it didn't have any effect."

"If I had guessed it was a werewolf palace prison" Henritz said.

"Hen, how do you know all that?" Valenesh was doubtful.

"My father used to take me to infiltrate the werewolf palace when the king there kidnapped Revanna's mother. We accidentally went in front of the prison. Luckily we were able to save her and bring her back to the vampire palace. However, now it seems like the palace has been sealed so I can't enter it anymore. If so, why did you escape from the palace?"

Henritz nodded his head. In his brain immediately crossed the face of the woman from the werewolf nation who had been friends and also often helped him in the past.

"Val, you know what? Every day I was forced to drink blood and if I didn't want to, I was hit with an iron rod. This body crumbles a lot because I choose to throw the blood away instead of letting it into my mouth."

"Why don't you ask, why did they do this to you Ansel?" ask Valenesh.

"They just said that they wanted me dead, but unfortunately I didn't die either. Therefore they tortured me excessively, hoping that after doing that then I would become a lunatic."

"It is cruel to them" Valenesh said, wiping his unstoppable tears.

"Prince, let me hug Valenesh!" ansel Pinta.

"No, what's the guarantee that you won't do evil to Valenesh?"

Henritz, however, must be on guard. Do not let your guard down and Ansel harm Valenesh and his future baby. Henritz thought it was possible for Ansel to change his appearance and act like this, thus weakening their defense.

Ansel got up from his seat and approached the prison door.

"Here," he said, holding a necklace around his neck.

Valenesh and Henritz were shocked to see the necklace with the same pendant that Valenesh was wearing. So unreliable they both immediately checked Valenesh's necklace which was still hanging on the woman's neck.

"Why are you astonished? I got this necklace from Uncle Tommy when he took me to the vampire palace to see King Fanhouzan when I was a kid."

Of course the shock of the two increased, especially Henritz who saw the fact that Ansel had come to the vampire palace before. Moreover, his arrival with Tommy made Henritz feel there is a fresh wind to be able to uncover the oddity that had stuck in his head all along.

"Hopefully Ansel knew something," inner Henritz.

"This necklace uncle left me, and he asked that I give it to Valenesh's son. He knew that there would be people hunting the boy because he could kill enemies from his father's country, and I guess the enemy was a fake Ansel. Fake Ansel was a god-king who wanted me dead or crazy, so as not to be able to tell that the truth that killed Tomi's uncle was himself by shooting Henritz's arrows into a turn."

Hearing Ansel's story, Valenesh became stunned, while Henritz smiled faintly.

"At last there are also those who know the reality even though the news circulating is someone's engineering. Honestly, although Henritz was not sure the arrow changed course just like that, but there was no evidence that could absolve him of the accusation, so he must be willing to accept severe punishment from his own mother without wanting to hear the slightest explanation from Henritz. Henritz found out that Revanna was not only angry that Henritz had killed people, but had also killed the man she loved.

"Ah mother, may you calm down there."

"Valenesh can I hold you? I missed you Valenesh!"

Ansel's words disperse the reverie of Henritz and Valenesh.

Seriate.
