Chapter 83

"Ma, let alone Vier, Vier can walk on his own," protested Vier finally at the mother who continued to pull his hand.

Jasmine halted her steps, and stared at her son's face in turn, looking at his hand that was tightly holding Vier's hand afraid that his son would not follow her.

"Ma, look around, everyone is staring at us!" Whisper Vier on his mother.

Jasmine also circulated her gaze around her, right what her son said, that they were now the center of attention of others.

Jasmine let go of her hand, "Yes you've been walking alone, but you have to follow your mother, just be careful if you go back out and get busy with work at a time like this," jasmine said giving the warning to her son.

Jasmine looked at Vier, she was actually sad, seeing Vier who was now too busy with her work. After the incident where her son's lover canceled their dinner appointment. Not an ordinary dinner because on that day, Vier plans to introduce her lover to her. 

Not only did he break his promise, Vier's lover even suddenly disappeared and did not give him any news.

Since that incident Vier has become less talkative and busied himself in the company of his grandfather who will one day be handed over to him. 

Jasmine was sad to see Vier like that, but she couldn't do anything either, and she could only monitor the state of her son and hope that her son would always be fine.

Jasmine then stepped first, letting her son walk behind her. But shortly after they were almost there, Jasmine turned around as she felt that her son was not following her.

Vier's steps suddenly came to a halt when he saw two people standing together at the wedding, with a big smile that adorned the lips of the two greeting the invited guests. His jaw hardened, his hands clenched tightly to the sign that he was furious at this moment. 

Vier held onto his chest which suddenly felt so tight and there was also a great pain there. How not to get sick, if it turns out that the two people Vier saw were standing next to him were his cousin and his own lover. The lover who had always reasoned if he asked her to marry, and now his lover actually married his own cousin, Keanu Anderson.

Jasmine went back to her son, "Vier why are you? You're okay, aren't you, baby? Darling?" Jasmine worried about seeing Vier at this moment, Jasmine followed her son's line of sight, where there, in the underworld, her nephew was with a girl who was already his wife. 

"Vier!" Jasmine continued to shake her son's body but there was no response at all, making him even more anxious. 

While Vier who was no longer able to see the scene in front of his eyes, immediately left his mother who was now shouting to call his name.

"Vier! Vier, where are you going, baby?" Jasmine screamed spontaneously, until everyone saw her including the newlyweds who were now welcoming their guests.

"Let Alno alone Pa," Alno held off Stevano's move to approach his mother.

"Well," Stevano said, letting his son go, while explaining what happened to everyone who was now distracted by his family's drama.

Once he got permission from his papa, Alno immediately approached Jasmine who came out running after Vier.

"Why Ma?" Alno asked who saw his sister had gotten into the car, and quickly put her forward.

"Mama doesn't know, Al hurry up and chase your sister! Hurry Al! Mama is not afraid of anything happening with her," the frantic Jasmine orders a look at Vier who drives his car like an insolent person.

Alno saw his sister's car that had disappeared from view, and now looking at his mother, it was impossible for him to pursue Vier at this time, because it was certain that he would lose track. 

"Al why are you still here? Hurry up and chase your sister!" 

"Ma, Mama calm down first, I'm sure Vier will be fine, so Alno asked Mama not to be like this. Now explain to Alno why? Did something happen until Vier hurriedly left like that?" 

"So Mama just invited Vier in, Mama asked Vier to congratulate Ken and his wife first. But Vier stopped before he could say hello and left" Jasmine explained.

Alno frowned confused at his mother's explanation, "Something's wrong" he thought to himself.

"You're looking for Vier now Al!" Pinta Jasmine with a pleading gaze.

"Yes Ma, after the problem inside is settled."

"That's the matter?" 

"Yes we have to make it clear that everything is fine first to everyone, look Ma inward, everyone is now staring at us. We've messed up Ken's wedding, because it's not Ken who's the center of everyone here, it's us, Mama and Vier to be exact."

Stevano is now approaching them both.

"How's Pa?" Alno asked who saw Stevano's arrival. While Jasmine immediately turned around when Alno called her husband, because of the position of Jasmine who was indeed turned to Stevano.

Stevano nodded, signaling that everything was in order.

"But we still have to apologize directly to the owner of the event" he continued later.

"I'm sorry Mama" Jasmine looked at her son and now turned to her husband, "I'm sorry, I was just…"

Stevano hugged his wife. "It's okay baby, I get it, you're just too worried about our son" Stevano said.

"Now that we all go inside, we apologize first to Max and Bunga as well as Ken and his wife" Stevano said, inviting his son and wife to re-enter.

"Keep what about Vier?" Jasmine asked who was worried about her son.

"Alno will look for her Ma, better Mama and Papa come in now!" Said Alno who then got a nod from his mom and dad.

Stevano hands over the car keys to his son, letting Alno look for his sister, while he and Jasmine decide to step in, to apologize to Max's family for indirectly messing up his party.

Alno then passed away as soon as she saw her mom and dad enter, Alno was sure something was wrong. Because Vier's sister, will react like that when it comes to his girlfriend, Sheira.

"Waiting for her boyfriend?" Muttered Alno who then directly contacted his wife.

"Hello dear," said Alno as soon as the call was connected.

"Yes, what's wrong? Isn't Kak Alno still on show?" 

"Yes," replied Alno who did not tell his wife fearing worry.

"Sister!"

"Hmm, why?"

"Everything's okay, right?" Ask Vira later.

"Well, everything's fine, why are you asking like that?" Alno asked who was worried, because his wife always knew if something happened to Vier.

"It's okay, it's just that I thought of Vier, oh yeah, if you're on the show, why did you call me? Don't tell me that Brother misses."

"Hmmm is one of them, but there are more important things you want to ask.
