Chapter 16

Alno looked at the sky that looked cloudy. Today Alno was on a bench in his campus garden. 

"Hey, why are you even daydreaming here?" Bian patted Alno on the shoulder and sat down next to his troubled friend.

"Tomorrow we go to your sister's school, ordinary basketball, we are also alumni of that school as well as the same reunion of our basketball members first," Bian told.

"Hmm," Alno replied with just a mutter.

"You're coming, right?" Tanya Bian looks at her friend who is more silent today, although usually Alno is also quiet and only talks if there are important things if outside the house.

"Follow, yes it's there! Don't bother me," said Alno, expelling Bian.

Before long, the rain fell, which was just a drizzle now getting busier, Alno immediately ran to the parking lot.

"Hey, where are you going?" Bian asked who saw Alno running when Alno was the one who kicked him out.

Without answering her best friend's question, Alno ran away, looking at the clock on her wrist.

"Hopefully it's not too late" he murmured then drove his car to his sister's school.

No need to spend a long time, now Alno is in front of the school gate where his three younger siblings studied, Vier, Vira and Ken.

Alno opened the car glass, the security guard who had known Alno immediately let Alno in.

Alno got out of the car with an umbrella on his right. Then Alno quickened his pace when he saw Vira's friend.

"Hi, you're Vira's friend, right?" Alno asked the girl who was ponytailed.

"Ah yes, Brother Alno right?" Ask the girl shyly.

"Yes, introduce me Alno, oh yeah Vira where?" Alno asked unceremoniously in search of Vira's whereabouts who was usually always with the girl he was now talking to.

"I'm Sisil Kak, Vira was home first, not too long ago anyway, maybe still near here" replied Sisil who had indeed seen Vira earlier directly out after saying goodbye to her to go home first.

"Thank you, Brother go first yes," said Alno to Sisil who was staring at Alno without blinking.

"Sir Alno!" Shouted Sisil after waking up.

Alno turned his head and looked at the girl who was known to his sister's best friend.

"Vira did not bring an umbrella" he shouted in the rain that I still heard Alno.

Alno nodded and immediately ran looking for his sister's whereabouts.

"Vira is very lucky to have an older brother like Kak Alno who loves her very much. If I had been Kak Alno's lover, I would have looked after him and would never have wasted it," inner Sisil said as she continued to stare at Alno who was getting further away with a smile that was engraved wide at the corner of her lips.

While still running down the park road that is near the school, because usually the students will pass the road, if it will walk.

Alno ran faster when she saw her sister tie her loose shoelaces, and she was rained.

Alno immediately approached, Alno was sure if his sister was not aware of his presence because she was too focused on tying shoelaces. Alno stood in front of him and pawed at Vira. 

Alno grabbed his sister's hand to hold the umbrella, "Wear it!" Alno said then he just ran away from Vira.

Alno was relieved that he could finally catch up to his sister, and his sister would not be rained on.

Vira stared with a gaze that was difficult to interpret the back of her brother who was now not seen anymore.

Vira exhaled slowly, so she remembered the incident last night when Kak Alno kissed her lips, and without realizing Vira held her lips, the warmth of the kiss she could still feel until now, she could still feel, the first kiss that was supposed to be taken by someone who would be her husband, was already taken by Alno Kakanya. Due to Vira's surprise at something unexpected earlier, to the point that she forgot to ask her where her sister slept last night, inexplicably Vira became guilty of her Sister's unremittingness.

Vira stood up and went home with an umbrella given by her brother.

On the way home, Alno accidentally saw his sister Vier was with the girl Alno had seen the other day, Vier's lover that's what Vira said at the time, they were both taking shelter at the stop. Alno saw, his sister Vier was wearing his jacket to the girl's body.

"Vier!" Shouting Alno amidst the sound of raindrops made Vier and the girl instantly startled and looked at her Brother who was now stepping over to them.

"Vier, is your brother going to get mad?" Sheira asked fearfully at Alno's obvious expression when she was angry, judging by her clenched hands and hardened jaws.

Alno stopped the taxi that happened to pass in front of him.

"You get in that cab, and you go home right now!" Alno's orders in a voice that sounded terrifying to Sheira.

Sheira looked at her lover, and Vier nodded gesturing for Sheira to obey what her sister had said.

Sheira then says goodbye to the two men, and goes straight into the taxi that is currently waiting for her.

After Sheira got into the taxi and the taxi had started to go, Alno then stared intently at her younger brother.

"Sister!"

Instead of answering his brother Alno's greeting, he gave a raw bogem to Vier.

Vier just kept quiet, he did not know what mistakes he made until his brother immediately gave a punch to him.

"Sister, where have you been? Why didn't you come home last night?" Ask Vier who really wants to know where his brother went last night.

"It's not that you're protecting and looking after your own brother, you're even engrossed here with your lover," angrily Alno ignores Vier's question of his whereabouts last night.

"Sorry, I…"

"You know, Vira went home alone and got rained, your jacket that you should have given to your cold twin, you gave it to someone else" said Alno coldly.

"Sister he's not someone else, he's my lover," replied Vier who did not accept when his brother called his lover someone else.

"Love only, right? Not yet your wife" said Alno smiling sideways.

"You're protecting her, but you're ignoring your brother, what if something happens to her, I know she's a strong woman but anyway she's still a woman, she needs to be guarded and protected, too, if you want to go with your lover, wouldn't it be better for you to also take Vira with you, you should be more responsible to Vira instead of the girl," Alno said flatly staring in the other direction.

Vier was silent, not blaming his brother at all, what his brother said was true. She should have also kept her twin instead of being selfish and chose to be with her lover.

"Sister, I hope you remember what Brother said, if you can't protect him, you should protect him," said Alno immediately turned around and passed away leaving Vier who felt strange and confused what the meaning of his brother's words.
