Pierre smiled with satisfaction, "Alright, that means I won't put my signature on this letter. And that means there's no divorce between us" he replied.

"Come inside, I hope you don't regret everything" he said with great emphasis.

Pierre took Madeline into his room. Madeline gives Pierre the right to be her husband for the last time before they are separated.
