MID 82 | Last Request Madeline

Mr. Spencer had actually predicted this, just hearing directly from Madeline was enough to make him surprised and feel unwilling if it happened.

To be honest, apart from Madeline who is a respected child in this country. Mr. Spencer himself loved his son-in-law as much as his own daughter, but again and again he had to condemn the stupidity of his son because of the infidelity that occurred.

"I know you're trying to defend my household with your son. And I'm very grateful for that, but all you have to know is...,"

"I've been trying to help her forget about Yara, do my job as a good wife for her and learn to love her. But in fact, it was only the hurt and disappointment that Pierre gave me. Pierre can't appreciate me as a wife." Madeline said that to Mr. Spencer. He really wants to escape the bond of marriage that should not happen.

Hearing Madeline's heart, makes Mr. Spencer's guilt so great. It turns out that all this time he failed to educate his son in ethics.

"I don't know how deep the disappointment you're feeling about my son's actions, son. For his actions, I as Pierre's parents apologize for that."

Madeline nodded,"It's okay, I'm fine." replied Madeline who was trying to look fine.

Despite the weight, Mr. Spencer also accepted all the decisions Madeline made.

"Although you and Pierre will be separated, I will always be my daughter, son." said Mr. Spencer.

Madeline just nodded, "Thank you, Dad."

At least Madeline has obtained permission from Mr. Spencer as her father-in-law, and now she only needs Pierre's signature to complete all the files she will give to the court.

After this, Pierre could freely undergo a relationship with Yara without the need to cover everything up. Likewise with Madeline, she can live life as usual despite having to feel pain.

"May I ask you one thing, Dad?"

"What's that?"

"Can you, after the divorce, give Pierre a directorial position?" The ink with sassy. She knew this was not her realm, but here she stood as Spencer's young mistress.

"Why are you asking for that, son?" Ask Mr. Spencer.

"I just want Pierre to get what he's entitled to without having to carry out the conditions you asked for, Dad."

"I'm sure after getting a divorce from her, Pierre will soon marry Yara and you'll get a grandchild from her." Madeline.

"Wouldn't Pierre be an only child, meaning that all of those positions would later only be for Pierre?" Ask Madeline.

It is true what Madeline said, only that Mr. Spencer was reluctant to accept Yara as his daughter-in-law. There is a feeling of awkwardness and unwillingness if it happens.

"I can't promise you that, but I'll try to do it because this is your last request as our daughter-in-law." Break up Mr. Spencer.

Madeline shook her head, "Don't do this for me, do this for your descendants."

Mr. Spencer just nodded lethargicly, "I'll work it out, son."
