My Husband-to-be is my Idol Friend

My Husband-to-be is my Idol Friend
The deal!

"Are you sure it was your Grandpa Grandma Son..? Have you met them before..?" ask the Grandma.

"Well that's them. It was Grandpa and Grandma Eve from the late Papa. I never met them. The late Papa said they died since Papa was young, because that's all that's left are the photos of them that had always been kept by the late Papa."

"What's with that photo? How'd their picture get here?" ask Eve in confusion.

"The child in the photo is your father, son." said the Grandmother slowly.

"And your late grandfather was a friend of Grandma's late husband.."

"......" Eve simply remained silent and stretched out her gently shaking hand to grab the photo that was in Mrs Kim's hand.

"So this is Papa...?" Eve's voice and both hands began to tremble as she looked at the photo that was already in her hands. And without her noticing, her tears started to flow down her cheeks.

"A-is this photo okay for me...?" eve asked with tears because she could not help her longing for her late father.

"May dear." said Mrs Kim softly after the Grandmother nodded her head as she permitted.

"Thank you...Thank you.." Eve happily closed her eyes and hugged the photo in her chest.

Madam Kim and Jasmine who were next to Eve directly hugged her and gave her a tissue to wipe her tears.

"What's really going on Pa?" david whispered to Mr. Kim sitting next to him.

"Listen to the end" replied Mr. Kim quietly.

"Eve...did your late father ever tell you about your matchmaking with this family?" asked Grandma after seeing Eve calm down.

"P-stupid? No. gabe. Never is."

"Eve.your late grandfather once helped save Grandma's late husband. And to repay that debt, they tied the promise to marry their grandchildren so that two families could become one." Say Grandma.

"Good-grandson? I-i mean Grandma? Me and..??"

"Yes. David, Grandma's grandson." replied the Grandma firmly.

"B-but this doesn't make sense. Why should I marry Grandma's granddaughter just because of a promise I never even knew?"

"Son Eve, Grandma's late husband had been covering up the promise and had only revealed it just before she died. This is why Grandma wants to fulfill her last wish by marrying you as soon as possible.."

"But the two of us never even knew each other, not loved each other. How could we get married?"

"Eve darling...Grandma just wanted to fulfill the last request of her late husband.wouldn't you want to help us..? madam Kim asked gently as she clasped Eve's right hand.

"True Eve.please help fulfill my Grandpa Eve's last request. Do you have the heart if my Grandpa's last request isn't fulfilled?" jasmine held Eve's left hand.

"Son.can you help?" ask Mr. Kim.

"But sir, Madam, even if I agree to marry, your son does not necessarily consent to this marriage."

"David has agreed." said Mr. Kim.

"Huh??" Eve was surprised to hear that.

"David has agreed, son, but on condition that your marriage is not known to the public first. Not mean to be bad to you, Eve. It's just that David is still willing to continue his career in the world of artistry." Mr. Kim explained.

"Do you mind if it's like that Eve..?" asked Madam Kim who was looking at me gently.

"Can I talk to David alone?" ask Eve.

"of course. David, take Eve to Papa's office so you can talk together" Mr. Kim said.

"Yes Pa. Over here." David stood up and walked towards a brown door not far from the living room.

Inside Mr. Kim's office...

"So, what do you want to talk about?" david asked after closing the door.

"First of all I want to know, why are you willing to accept this match?"

"Because they were my grandmother and my parents. Plus this is my late grandfather's last wish."

"Just because of that? But we never knew or knew about each other. And I'm certainly not the woman to be David Kim's wife. How can you be that easy to accept this match?"

"Everything you say is true. But you're wrong about you not being a woman fit for a David Kim. The truth is you're not my type. Yep. My type is a woman who is 180 degrees different from you. He em." Answer David who folded his arms around his chest while nodding his head.

"Heisshs. You're not my type either. My idol is Alden Lee." My answer is not to lose.

"Alden's? Oh great.. Not married you already admire other men in front of your own future husband." Why should I be so angry that I say this? David's mind shortly after saying that.

"Then why? My future husband's my idol friend. What's wrong with idolizing others? Am I obligated to idolize you, husband-to-be?" ask Eve by raising one eyebrow.

"Ha ha's. Who would want to be idolized by you, a future wife? It's up to you to idolize who, but not my group." David's reply turned to look at me while narrowing his eyes.

"My only idol is Alden! It's up to me dong! Alden wouldn't mind if I idolized him either."

"Well! All the members of that group are my brothers. I know Alden better than you, anyway, so I know deep down Alden must mind having an idol like you."

"Iish. I just found out David Choi's true nature turned out like this. Jasmine was right about you. Never mind. I am lazy to argue with you. Back to the main point of our problem."

"Same. I am also lazy to argue with you."

"Then about a marriage that doesn't want to spread to the public?"

"Yes that. Because I'm still tied to artist management and other contracts. If the thing about me marrying you who is not among this artist until it sesebaaar.karirku as an artist and komtrak-kontrak others can be threatened. Even you yourself can be threatened."

"Because of your fans? Or because of the media?"

"It could be anything. I don't know."

"So? What decision?"

"Then..if we get married.how about that one.." asked Eve who could not continue her own words.

"That's what?" ask David who is confused.

"I-that's.sleep problems. I don't want to sleep in one room with you."

"Sleep? Don't worry, there are two rooms in my house. I don't want to sleep in one room with you either. Just chill. For me this marriage is just to fulfill Grandpa's last wish and also to make my Grandmother and my parents happy." David said, explaining.

"really? It's good then. I agree."

"OKs. The deal! Then our conversation is over. Let's give them your answer."
