Marriage Terms

"Yes! Right Ma! Jasmine's friend who a few days ago came to the house. Oh, my God." said Mr. Kim staring at his wife.

"Have you two ever met that kid? Friend Jasmine?" asked Grandma curiously.

"True Ma'am, he's a new worker at the church and had time to help Jasmine. That's why they are now friends." said Mrs Kim, explaining to Grandma.

"You two can go now" the grandmother told the two detectives.

"Good Big Mistress." Answer the two detectives while stepping back and out of the room accompanied by Secretary Jang.

"So, how's the kid?" ask Grandma to her son and daughter-in-law.

Mr and Mrs Kim began to tell Grandma about Eve.

Some time later..

"What are you waiting for then? Prepare everything immediately. But before you tell David and before they get married, I want to see the kid first. This Sunday I will come with you to church." said the Grandmother with spirit as if the chunk of stone in her heart began to lift a little to make her relieved.

The next day, on Saturday, David went home and planned to visit Grandma.

"Sister David? Finally, my brother is home!" Sapa Jasmine while hugging her brother who just entered the house.

"Have you visited Grandma?" david asked Jasmine.

"Yet. Papa Mama said Grandma needs a break, plus she said Sunday tomorrow Grandma will come with us to church. Now Brother's coming home means tomorrow we can all go to church together." Jasmine's smile was happy because finally one family could gather tomorrow.

"You're coming? Then let's go to Grandma's house." said Mr. Kim when he saw his son coming home.

"Pa, is Jasmine coming?" Whine Jasmine to Mr. Kim.

"Follow it. Come prepare." replied Mr. Kim.

At the Grandma's house..

"Neneeek..Jasmine Kangen same Granny. Is Grandma getting better?" Jasmine hugged Grandma when she had just entered the Grandma's house.

"Aigoo..Grandma is fine, dear." replied the Grandma with a smile.

"Grandma, is Grandma getting better? Forgive David for coming to see Grandma." David gently hugged and kissed her Grandma's cheek.

"Grandmother has improved.Thank goodness you came today. Come here, there's something important we want to talk to you about."

"What's Grandma about?"

"Surely about Sister's matchmaking." Jasmine raised both of her eyebrows while smiling towards her brother.

"Definitely Grandpa's friend's granddaughter is a man.Prepare to marry Jasmine" David replied with a smile and a face that mocked his sister.

"Come, Brother Daviiid! Jasmine has a boyfriend!" Shouted Jasmine who then pinched her brother's arm.

"Already, already.these guys, are both big but still just mock each other. Come quickly sit down." said Mrs Kim who saw the behavior of her two children.

"David, Grandma wants to ask you."

"Yes David wants to answer Grandma's question." David replied with a serious feint and closed his eyes.

"Heyyshhhhhhhhh. This kid always gets granny. Grandma seriously wanted to ask this." said the Grandma as her right hand pretended to pinch the granddaughter.

"Aigooooo's...Grandma wants to ask, before you get married later, will you continue to plan to continue your career in the world of artists?" ask Grandma to David.

"Of course, Grandma. David can't just leave David's group. Granny knew it couldn't have been that easy for David to stop. What's more David has a contract for the next few years." David explained to Grandma.

"What are your plans for your wedding? Will your management not mind you staying in the group even if you're married?" ask Mr. Kim further.

"That's it Pa. They don't necessarily agree to that. So David had thought about it, well if indeed David had to marry Grandpa's friend's granddaughter, but the condition was that David wanted our marriage to be unknown to the public. That way David can still continue his career."

"David...how can you marry a woman without giving her status in the presence of others?" ask Mrs Kim who seems to disagree with the conditions put forward by her son.

"But Ma. This is the best path David can take. David doesn't love her anyway, Ma. It's all just to fulfill Grandpa's promise to their family at Grandpa's last request."

"Then after marriage you want to stay separated so that it is not known to the public?" ask Mr. Kim.

"David thinks it's the best. He can stay here with Grandma or at home with you."

"Then what about the child?" ask Mrs Kim.

"Kids? Mama wish we had a child?"

"A year." said the Grandmother suddenly.

"A year???" yelled at everyone in the room in surprise when they heard that.

"So after a year David can divorce her, Grandma?" david asked with happy eyes.

"Yayss!! You brat! That's not what Grandma meant. Grandma just added your father's words. In a year you'll have to give us news about the child. Grandma wants a great-grandmother. Your mom wants a grandchild." Answer the Grandma.

"And Jasmine wants a niece." Jasmine said with her small laugh as she saw Grandma brandishing her right thumb towards Jasmine.

"Nothing but." the Grandma stretched out her right palm forward while stopping David's rebuttal.

"Yeliyyy! Jasmine can't wait to have a niece." Jasmine said while clapping happily.

"Let's help mama get everything ready for your sister's wedding later. Mama also has no patience for carrying a grandchild..." Mrs Kim got up from the sofa and walked outside.

"Come on Ma, Jasmine, help pick the flowers and.the wedding dress!! Kyaa. Jasmine's been ga sabaaar." Shouted Jasmine hysterically as she grabbed Madam Kim's arm that was about to go outside.

"Grandmother also came along." said the Grandmother who began to stand and was led by Mr. Kim.

"Why are you so happy when I am going to have this senseless marriage? Hicks." Shouted David pretending to be sad as he watched them all come out of the room one by one.
